Edgewood Country Club

I recently attended a wedding here. The venue itself is beautiful and spacious. I thought the appetizers during cocktail hour were delicious and the staff was constantly circulating. I wasn't overly impressed with the dinner, the chicken was too lemon-y and the short rib was too well done for me. The mashed potatoes were amazing and the vegetarian option (ravioli) looked great. Bar service during cocktail hour was slow but went smoothly during the reception. Overall a nice place for a wedding!

My friend and I visited Edgewood country club for dinner and tour of their event space. I was very impressed with the menu! To mitigate risk amid COVID, they offered a virtual menu accessed by scanning a bar code with your phone. They have been able to maintain an expansive menu as well, with options for vegetarians and non-vegetarians.I tried a new dish for dinner- a veggie pesto tartare. The presentation was stunning and I loved the meal. The bread was toasted yet still soft enough to bite. The pesto and veggies were a perfect savory topping. We also ordered the zucchini planks, which were plentiful on the plate and paired well with the dipping sauces. My friend ordered a veggie wrap that came with a side of fresh fruit, and had nothing but positive things to say about the dish. We both ordered white wine (I had a pinot grigio and she had a riesling) to go with our vegetarian meals. Huge props to the chef, Matt! We loved it all! Our server, Susy, was so nice and accommodating. She was a pleasure to talk to and did a great job serving! We also got to meet Brad, who walked around to each table and chatted with the members (he also recommended the veggie tartare, such a good call).Mark (Sales & Catering Director) gave us a tour of their event space, as we are looking for a venue for a bridal shower. He was great! Very personable and knowledgeable of everything Edgewood has to offer. He gave us a packet of information to go home with. They renovated their main event spaces in early 2020, and we were very impressed with the classy look and feel of each room!Every person we met at Edgewood was friendly and attentive. Between the staff and members we had the chance to meet, I am confident that Edgewood has built a comforting and accepting community. Overall I would highly recommend this club!

I JUST FINISHED ONE OF THE BEST ENTREES OF MY ENTIRE LIFE!!!!!If you are looking for a club to join or have the opportunity to go to dinner here. You must. The club just got a new chef and this sous vide pork tenderloin was mind blowing. The base of the plate was a beautiful orange charred sweet potato purée (so silky and flavorful). On top of this were clear over done (on purpose to give a stickier texture) grits. Along side of these two items were perfectly roasted asparagus and whipped Boursin cheese. Then the star beautifully positioned was the 2 thick slices of pork tenderloin with a fromage & pearls of Basil oil (looked like caviar). I'm still sitting at the bar in complete shock about the entree that just transpired. I was about to lick the plate in public. OMG!!!!!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception here, and there are not enough good things to say! From the planning process to the food everything was wonderful. Multiple guests said that that was the best dinner they'd ever had! The staff was amazing and so helpful. Over all just an excellent experience!

The food is excellent, the updates to the club are beautiful and Mark is incredibly attentive and detail oriented. We rescheduled my daughter's wedding several times this summer and for every phase he's made it beautiful and memorable. The food is outstanding.

When I attended the country club the other night for dinner with my husband, our waitress was great, and we asked to speak to the manager/assistant manager to book a private room for a bridal shower. When the man came out, he was very rude and acted as if we were bothering. He was extremely unprofessional, and talked down to us as if we were children. Needless to say, we will not be booking any events here due to the attitudes and lack of customer compliance coming from management.

The staff is very unorganized and overwhelmed when faced with a party? You would think they might have an idea of how to host a party... but apparently not. I held one party event here for 70 people. I would not use this venue again based on poor customer service and poor food quality. The ambience is pretty nice but there is no value here for your $.... overpriced and underwhelming.
