Eden Park Roller Rink

We were invited to Eden Park Roller Rink for a birthday party. This was my first time skating since I was a young kid! My 3 boys had such a fun time. My two younger ones really liked the small roller rink to start out. This was their first time ever skating. There is a lot of steps to go up to the roller rink from the parking lot. The parking was along the side of the building. My boys definitely want to come skating again. We look forward to another visit.

We checked out Eden Park Roller Rink for the first time on a Saturday during their public skate hours. It was AMAZING! Everyone is $10 and that includes skate rental. They have both roller blades and skates. We loved that they have a practice rink and the regular adult rink. For the entire first hour of the public skate we were the only ones there. We had an absolute blast. Everything looks like it's straight out of the 80s. Staff were so friendly and its family run. I will definitely be back!

There was an Easter Event for kids and this was my first time ever at this establishment and most likely my last. First off it said there would be Games Prizes Raffles etc. We were given raffle tickets but never instructed what to do with them, there were no games except for the junk of an arcade with half the machines broken but we assumed they meant Easter themed games, and there was for sure no prizes except for a plastic egg with stickers in it. Also I must say 3 other families there that heard what was going on when I explain what happened next, they also encouraged me to make sure i left a review because they were all in dismay when my friend and I got treated with so much disrespect by the "man" that was running things not sure if it's the owner or not. They had brought the Easter Bunnies out to skate around with the kids for like 5 minutes and then they started taking pics with kids on the rink. Then they moved the line over to the smallest place in the building to sit and take pics with the bunny and moved the entire line to the opposite side of the building which confused everyone. I was standing with my son and my friends two kids while she was getting her younger daughter and was trying to get thru to get in line However this "man" kept telling her "you guys are next in line you're next" so little 5 year old girl thinks she is next and then realizes HE WAS WRONG and realized they hadn't been in line yet and so my friend was confused where the line even started because of the lack of organization. So when this man realized he was wrong, he told my friend and her five-year-old daughter to go to the very back of the line so she came and stood with me since her other kids were with me and also they were in line on the rink whenever they decided to move the line over to where they had the bunny sat. When this "man" saw that she didn't go to the very end and jumped in line with us (again we were all together and her other kids were already with me) he says in the most disrespectful demeaning way "NO I TOLD YOU TO GO TO THE BACK OF THE LINE" And everyone around us couldn't believe how he was treating us, over her jumping in line with one extra kid to get pictures with the kids that were already in line with me. So this caused my friends daughter to start crying her eyes out to the point where she didn't even wanna sit with the bunny, because she felt like she did something wrong because of the way this man was raising his voice to us. Like if it wasn't a kid event this wouldn't have been as of a big deal but the people in line behind us didn't even care that my friend was standing with me so wtf was the big deal. Funny thing is is my friend was supposed to have her son's birthday party there in a couple months and already put a payment down on it .. well, guess what she's considering somewhere else now because of the disrespect and i hope she does. Not to mention it looks like that place hasn't been updated or cleaned since 1970 and the way they serve drinks there, yuck. Out of pitchers with styrofoam cups with no lids at A skating RINK. Also before any of this even happened not even 20 minutes after we got there my son kept saying for the rest of the time we were there "I don't like this place. It's weird I don't feel comfortable here." So for a kid to realize that the place is bad business that says enough. And for this being a KIDS event they were playing some pretty inappropriate music. I'm actually sad to have to put this post on because there's not many skating rinks around and you think that they are one of the last ones around that they would take care of it, update it little by little, and treat you kindly, smile, have friendly conversations etc.. I don't think one of the workers there smiled the entire time we were there either everyone looked miserable, except the one girl behind the skate return counter at the end of the night. She's was the only person that smiled and had good customer service. Yeah overall especially first impression, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Very disappointed. I'm hoping this gets the owner attention so that they start treating their customers with respect. Talking to adults like they are kids and making a little girl cry her eyes out is not cool!

The most innocent thing that has ever happened to McKeesport.Great prices and people! Skaters are of all ages & backgrounds and everyone is nice!

My daughter loves coming here. I remember learning to skate here when I was little. It would nice if they had more family friendly music tho....

This place is a lot of fun!! We had a great time roller skating and I was even able to teach a couple people Some different steps. I highly recommend this place if you have teenagers like mine who love to have fun and Hangout with friends!!
