Eddie's Pizza Haus

This old school hoagie and pizza shop in Morningside is worth trying. Hot hoagie was very good not the best hoagie in Pittsburgh as some reviewers claim but solidly good and worth the trip. The amount of meats could be better- the bread roll was good. A little skimpy on the lettuce and tomato. They prepare and serve with mayo so if that is not your thing request without. I had mine without.

The food was delicious, the subs were great. This small shop has been around for decades--all fresh and family run. Cash only!

Best Italian hoagies in the world! Their hoagie rolls are the best, crispy outside, soft on the inside. Been coming here all my life and never had a negative experience, always consistent!

Such a convenient neighborhood spot! The pizza is ok, but that's because coming from NY, I don't like provolone in my pizza cheese. Definitely think the sauce is homemade because there wasn't enough salt in it but overall, decent neighborhood spot!

I get a pizza from here about every week. I share it with my grandchildren and they love it. Great crust and sauce. Not the most expensive or the most exotic, just good pizza!!

I tried so many pizza shops in search for the best Italian hoagie and I thought big shot bobs had the best so far until I tried Eddies pizza. I was greeted by the owner who was very nice and ordered 2 Italians and was blown away! I read reviews on his shop and noticed all the praise about his hoagies. I will be going there from now on. I just had a delicious hot Italian hoagie from Eddie's, it was delicious! My family orders frequently, we also enjoy the pizza and live it! The place is family owned and run! The staff is always nice. The food is as warm, authentic and delicious as the neighborhood itself. When in Morning side, give it a try!Mike

We look forward to ordering pizza and subs at Eddie's four or five times a year when visiting my uncle in the Morningside neighborhood of Pittsburgh PA. Pizza is cheesy with tasty sauce and their pepperoni is the delicious. Also enjoy their baked Italian hoagie and also the cheesesteak with peppers and onions! Always fresh toppings!

Comfort food for Morningside-raised and surrounding folks. Eddie's is my preferred pizza. I can appreciate other big-name pizza shops in Pittsburgh. But Eddie's is just "it" for me. If you try for the first time and are not a fan of their pizza, do yourself a favor and order an Italian hoagie with everything "a little sloppy" (they'll understand) and thank me later.
