As someone who lives in north Huntington I love going to earls their ice cream is way better than if you were to go to Dairy Queen . Also their service is good and food and ice cream is absolutely delicious I would fully recommend going to earls. Also for menu the root beer float is delicious and also $2.50 and gives a lot more ice cream for cheaper.

Even though there are other ice cream places around, I really enjoy Earl's because the food is better quality in comparison to DQ. I like Kerber's too, but it's nice to have a place with a variety of soft ice cream and food choices. A nice treat on a warm summer night.

Oh....Earl's. How I hate to love you. Anyone in the Irwin area knows that Earl's Dairy Whip is a community staple and a family run business. I recently met the owners' future daughter-in-law, and she was extremely friendly. To sum it up...Pros: I love, love soft service ice cream...way more than regular, hard ice cream. Although the signs say "24 flavors", they have way more than that, as well as blizzards, sundaes, milkshakes, etc. They also have food too....burgers, hotdogs, shrimp baskets. Everything is yummy, no complaints on the food. Staff are generally friendly and helpful. Pro / Con: The location is fine and there is ample parking. But...it would be nice if there were some benches or picnic tables. You either have to sit in your car or stand around in the gravel parking lot.Cons: The prices! My husband and I have never spent less than $5 here, which is crazy for the area. I mean, it's Irwin. You can go to Kerber's, DQ, or McDonald's and get a small cone for a buck. Sometimes McDonald's has their ice cream for $.49...and it's ice milk, which is healthier anyways. Cons: I just said "McDonald's" and 'Healthier" in the same sentence.

The force is strong in this one. The ice cream and other ice cream related treats are fantastic. I've been going here since the 80s. Brings back memories of big hair and mullets

I support small business over any chain and this little place does not disappoint. Lots of frozen treats variety.

I used to work here and the food has taken a "huge" downfall. Just got a burger from here and it doesn't taste anything like an Earls burger. On top of that they didn't even make my sandwich right. I'm not sure what is going on there but they definitely need better management a better eye on the food. When I worked there the food was great and now I would rather cook my own food. Not sure if u will be returning there. Paying the up prices they have which is not an issue get better food like Earls used too. We want the old Earls back!

This is a great place to get ice cream or another yummy desert! You can treat yourself to a vast variety of sundaes, milk shakes, and of course ice cream....24+ flavors of soft serve. There is also quite an extensive menu with other stuff like burgers, fries, onion rings, etc. There is an adequate amount of parking, although it can be hard to find a spot on a warm summer evening. I do wish they would install more benches and some tables. Customers usually have to eat in their cars, tailgates, or just stand around.Great place though, a local class!

Went for the first time and was amazed at how great the service was. I was helped by a very friendly girl, I believe she said her name was Jenson. and she could not have been sweeter. I was confused by all of the flavors. She took the time to not only explain them to me but also made some great recommendations. You definitely made a great choice when hiring Jenson. The next time I am in the area I will definitely stop by.
