Duran's Restaurant & Lounge

Decided to have a few drinks after work the other night. I had never been in here before, but gave it a shot. It was pretty busy for being late on a Thursday night. The bartender was friendly enough. The entire place was nice and clean and much bigger than I assumed from driving by a million times. Smoking is allowed in the bar area. The bathrooms we're large and very clean. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5....it seemed pretty pricey. 3 shots of Fireball were $18 or so, which is a bit more than I was expecting. I would definitely go back though!

If you like rude service and want to hang out with a bunch of alcoholics, this is your place!! Oh, a good luck getting your change back! Forced tipping! The Owner is rude and supports bad behavior for her staff! Pass on this one! I Filed a report with the Attorney General, local police and the BBB for failing to return my change on my bill.

Great place to have a cigar and a few drinks. Staff is always friendly. Food is good, if you go there you have to try the Cump Burger... named for the owner. Great mix of customers and my be the best bar in Carnegie.... and most of the time they welcome you by say welcome to Duran's

Best home made sauce !! Any thing that has this sauce and meatballs on the menu can't miss

3.5 stars.Ended up in Carnegie randomly after a job up the street. Due to the rainy, dismal land scape, my goal was to find a spot in which to kill two hours and get an afternoon drink on (read "dismal" above, which was mirroring my mood today). Durans came on like a beacon in the darkness, inviting me in.The decor is clean and modern-ish, which was surprising from the outside. Lotsa flat screen TVs with sport stuff playin'. The front area, which consists of the bar and dark wood bistro tables, is pro-smoking, but the back area (dining area proper), is sans smoke. Since I was a lone diner an there was just one smoking fella at the bar, it seemed much less depressing to just deal with the smoke and sit in the window.The food is pretty typical, old school 'burgh bar food. Ordered the Chicken Salad with the fries, cheese, etc with the homemade balsamic vinaigrette. Perfect, simple and expected. The waitress was very friendly and personable- very nice gal and made me feel super comfortable.I wouldn't make Duran's a destination spot, but would def return if ever in this neck of the woods again.

I've been going to Duran's off and on for about two years now. The food is pretty good. My experience has always been great! The staff is very friendly and knows about the food. Recently they have updated their menu. However they only updated their prices. Now you can go there and order the same burger for a merely 15.00 with all the fixings. Pretty outrageous if you ask me. If they are trying to draw in business. Don't raise the prices.

Once again first time eating here. Wasn't quite sure it being a bar. Extremely surprised!!! Very friendly staff, great breakfast small price. Worth it. Will go back.

Walked in and the smell alone was enough to gag me , but we were hungry and so decided to stay. Food was nothing to brag about service was strange . When we left found out they charged us 2 times . My husband paid for the food and drinks and I had money out on the bar and the bartender took my money for the drinks .... So I'd think twice about going here .

Don't come here. A cheap Miller Lite draft is $5 and the owner's girlfriend accuses you of stealing and then doesn't apologize when she realizes that she is wrong. I used to like this place.
