Drover's Inn

The restaurant is definitely cool but I didn't think the food was anything to write home about. We sat in the basement which is really neat, definitely old and historic like the whole building. I guess the wings are excellent but I'm not much of a wings gal. I had the steak sandwich. It was decent, definitely a big portion with thinly shaved beef. If you're not a local I'd definitely stop by to check out the cool old building.

Y'all. This is seriously one of my favorite restaurants of all time! Food is always delicious and consistent, and Drover's offers some of the best service between Pittsburgh and Wheeling. I feel like I always have Jess as my server, she is so great!!!I always get the chicken philly with waffle fries. The chicken on the sandwich is grilled perfectly and is so delicious. Wings are a crowd favorite here and they have a nice array of flavors. Be sure to get some of their homemade bleu cheese! I cant wait for them to get the bottle caps appetizer back- thanks supply chain issues. Drover's is a fan favorite in my family. Be sure to check this place out if you're in the area! If you're not, it's worth a drive. :)

Wings are always amazing! Service is also great! Arriving to Drover's for our reservation.....my husband tells me I have a hole in the seem of my pants! I was so embarrassed! The host (Levi) caught on to the situation (while my husband and BIL are cracking up) and brought me a T-shirt to wear with no charge. So sweet!

The last time I was here, I didn't own a cell phone - which is just as well, since there was no signal here anyway. I was staying nearby for work this week and thought I would see if 30 years (give or take, the math is fuzzy) of memories would hold up, so I took myself to Drover's for some of their famous wings. No more roll of paper towel on the table, but the generous wad of lightweight napkins did the trick. The wings were smaller than I remember but still just as delicious. The owner was happy to seat me when I told him that I went to Franciscan so many years ago, and I think he was pleased to know that I wasn't one of the hooligans who stole a bunch of stuff from the tavern back in the day so there's that. Although there's some new modern features now - like ordering online! - the decor and ambience remain the same as I remember. I wish the ladies' room could've kept some of its old fashioned charm but I'm sure it's just as well. That weird rolling hand towel thing that I never could manage has been replaced by a dispenser of paper towels that didn't make me question whether I need to re-wash my hands. Cheers to this trip down memory lane!

This place never disappoints! It just gives you that hometown historic charm. It feels like you are walking into someone's house once you arrive. We had a party of 7 and were seated right away. Our waitress was friendly and super attentive. We received really good service while there. You absolutely can not go wrong with the wings. I always go for the BBQ Wings with a side of seasoned fries and ranch. Literally the best wings I've ever had. They also have a full bar if you want a nice cold drink to go along with your food. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

One of the most charming restaurants around with the best wings in the world. I was lucky enough to be introduced to Drovers while attending Bethany College down the road for undergrad. And now, as a Pittsburgh resident, I'm willing the make the one hour drive when the craving strikes. You won't find better wings than this. I also love the steak fries, which you can order plain, with cheese, or if you're feeling extra spicy, cheese AND bacon. They also have great homestyle dishes and other fried apps which are all delicious (other favorites include the fried ravioli and zucchini). My favorite place to sit is the tavern downstairs for the unique ambiance. It feels like sitting in a bustling English pub. They do take reservations for sitting upstairs (on one of two floors) which is still cozy and best for a larger group. If you live within a 1 hour radius (maybe even 2) just get in the car and go. It will always be worth it.

Excellent wings and service is always great. The fried pickles and hot pepper cheese balls are perfect every time.

We will usually do a Sunday drive and end up here for their wings! So many different flavors to choose from...

Great place to experience a tavern setting. The wings are DRY!! If your. fried food place your good. The prices are extremely high especially for one person to eat.
