Super fun selection of good teas/drinks. They host a lot of kpop events here too, and it's super fun to have a drink and hang out!

Great bubble tea place in Shadyside! I got the Sunset drink and it was delicious and not too sweet. The inside was spacious and decorated nicely.

A great spot for bubble tea enjoyers to try new things and enjoy the classics. Their prices are pretty reasonable, but there re places that have cheaper boba. They just have some cool creations you can make, so I tried them out. I had the mango slush with pearls. This was a bit more like a mix between a smoothie and a boba drink. They had tons of mango chunks in there, which I definitely liked. It was quite sweet. The size was alright but not that big. It did taste very fresh and the top had a bit of frothiness to it. They included a lot of fresh and chewy boba pearls, too. Enjoyed it.All in all, this is definitely a nice spot for boba and bubble tea. Some more upscale types you can try. I'd recommend them if you are a big boba fan.

It's far from the best, but it's worth a try! The inside is nice and the service is quick, the drinks just aren't as flavorful as some other places. The first time I ordered the Oreo milk tea and it didn't have any Oreo taste at all. Basically was just watery milk. Today I got a Thai tea and it was better than the Oreo, but not as good as others I've had. I'll probably try it at least once more hoping to find something reallyyy good :)

We stopped here for a bubble tea after trying the new sushi place downstairs (def try it out!). The staff were nice and attentive. We both got brown sugar milk tea. These were by far the best ones we've ever had (it's our go to bubble tea order). The tea flavor was strong but not too powerful and it was the perfect amount of sweetness. It's also a cute and comfortable place to sit and chat or work. We're excited to go back and try more flavors!

I was excited to try this place as it had great review but was disappointed. I got the coco tiramisu which powdery and it was really sweet. I had also tried the taro milk which was mediocre. The quality of the tea flavor was not very fragrant and was not the best compared to other places. The inside of the store and the marketing was done well to make the place look appealing but the quality of the drinks need improvement. The service was pretty quick and the staff seemed nice.

A boba place on top of THE YARD of all things? Who would've thought. It's somewhat hidden in that I didn't see any signage on the actual building; there's just a little easel-esque sign on the sidewalk telling you that Dr. Tea is inside. But once you get in there, it's like a world opens up to you. The space is huge with plenty of tables and room for you to wait. The bathrooms are clean and not to acknowledge my subtle dig at another Pittsburgh boba place thus making it actually not subtle at all, but it should be noted that your drinks are ready in under ten minutes. We tried (rating): Green Milk Tea with Boba (3.5/5), Peach Grapefruit Mix (4/5), Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Boba (3.5/5), Fruit Tornado (4/5)The boba tea tingle I had upon walking in here was that it was better at fruit teas than milk teas. It's a feeling and an instinct and a vibe. I think the milk teas are on the menu because of necessity and not because they're anything special which doesn't mean they're bad - I got the green milk tea and thought it hit the spot, but it just means that I don't think you'll be finding anything super special about the milk teas. I did notice some Dr. Tea specials that included slush style tiramisu flavors that seemed interesting but not down my alley. There was a lot more noticeable creativity on the menu when it came to fruit teas and I liked that they had different fun names for their drinks rather than just calling them exactly what they are! The boba is for sure the main area where I falter. These were simply too small. I'm not a big small boba person because they, scientifically, make you work harder. With small boba there's less surface area and so when you chomp down there's less of a chance that you'll actually hit boba SO it requires you to chew for much longer but to me it's not satisfying because sometimes you're out here gnawing on air for most of it. BUT they were saved by the fact that the texture wasn't too soft and they were sweetened in the direction of light and sugary (rather than deep and brown sugary). If you're going to get the brown sugar, definitely recommend getting it with less sugar because it gets sweet fast. The fruit tornado is grapefruit forward, so it leans sour, but the tea itself is good. If I'm ever back in PGH I'd definitely return!

Grand opening 1/15/2023, I found it on 1/18/2023.The entrance to this boba shop is in a door marked by The Yard. They have a sign outside that indicates that you're in the right place.A cozy, spacious boba shop awaits you inside. When I went around 7:15PM, it was empty except for one lady working the counter. I tried to order ahead, but the customization options were not working online (which is strange, since they were working on the opening day - I checked - and I let the lady know about this, since the prices also changed since opening day). My large oolong milk tea and large green milk tea with boba were about $7 each after tax and tip. Both drinks were well flavored with generous amounts of tapioca. Noted that powdered milk was used to make the drink, which is pretty standard among boba shops. Small batches of teas were clearly labeled behind the counter, which makes me believe that they are pretty fresh. One of my orders (the large green milk tea) was requested no ice and did in fact have some ice in it. Between this miss in the order and the technical glitch with their website, I would say there are small hiccups to be ironed out. The boba tea is pricey but flavorful, and so is a recommended option for a dessert in Shadyside if you get an early enough dinner or lunch.

This is a really cool space. You can really tell they put thought into their interior design with all the wood features and a mural! If only they didn't have a wall of cardboard boxes in the back, it would feel much cozier. Their #1 recommended dirty brown sugar milk tea was really good. I got mine with 30% sugar, and it was perfect! When we came, they were just getting set up for the day. There were a few customers waiting around to order. You could tell they were loyal customers not minding the extra 10-15min wait. The staff was very friendly. Once their system started working, the drinks came out quickly. I'll definitely be back for more!

The inside was very nice actually, huge tables and it seemed like a really nice place to bring your laptop and work, doesn't seem like it gets too busy either because it's kind of tucked away on a side street. The bubble tea was also good! They only have a few options on their menu, but a med drink was under $6 and it already came with the toppings which I feel like is never the case anymore, so pretty affordable too. They have fun options and classic options, boba was nicely chewy, tea had flavor, would highly recommend!
