DQ Grill & Chill Restaurant

In the past I have mentioned the chili dogs you have to eat with a spoon. Tried a cheeseburger and fries during prime lunch time and got a wrapped burger which had a bun so hot I had to drop it back in the bag in order not to burn myself. The only reason I can think is that they are made (who knows how far) in advance and microwaved for serving. The fries were very bitter which usually means overused oil. I have lived within a couple miles of this joint for 28 years and give their food a fresh try every few years and they always seem to disappoint. Maybe it's just me

The food is adequate; standard Dairy Queen.The service, however, is slower than a slug moving through molasses. They really sell the whole "Fan food, not fast food" thing, because it isn't even close to fast. You'll wait forever for anything that isn't ice cream. I have no idea why they sell burgers and sandwiches, because it slows down the whole operation. I've spent over 20 minutes in this drive thru, and it sure as heck isn't any faster to go inside. Stick to ice cream from here. You could literally drive to Kings, order a burger, and receive it in less time than it would take for Dairy Queen to fill your order.

Dairy Queen is pretty good. They have blizzards , classic ice cream on cones, cakes, ice cream cakes, and some small meals like fries and chicken strips. Their fries are pretty good. They taste different from any fast food restaurant. The dilly bars are a must try because no other ice cream place has such thing. (Comes in cherry , chocolate , and butterscotch). They were out of cookie dough flavor when I went .. A bit annoyed. Overall a good ice cream shop for summer days. They also have a drive through as well.

The service is terrible! Waited 15 minutes and didn't get out full order. Have gone through drive-thru and been given incorrect change, and charged differently. For example, two buster bars were $7.04 one day, then $4.02 the next. Incompetent bafoons!

Got order wrong and when my daughter questioned it she was told they couldn't fix it. She had not even got food yet, just looked at receipt. I worked in retail many for 20 years and would never have allowed that answer in the business I worked in. Lousy customer service

I understand orders getting mixed up from time to time. I however do not understand waiting 20 minutes for a blizzard only to be given a bag of hot food, then have an employee be argumentative about what I ordered and questioning if I paid. Take a minute to look at the receipt I was trying to present to you next time. Apologize for your mistake and do it with a smile. Poor service met with an even poorer attitude is how I would sum up this visit. Get bent DQ in Leechburg PA!!

I've never seen a DQ that didn't fill their dishes beyond the top lip of their bowls, till this DQ. The one just up the river in Apollo fills them really full, literally twice the amount of ice cream this shop will give you. They fill only to the top lip of the bowl and no higher. Very oddly strict. The DQ locations in New Ken and Natrona also don't do this. Only this one odd location in Leechburg. I just don't go anymore.

we ordered to meals with 2 drinks and never got our drinks and theh rushed us through ordering our food and got mad when we waited to check our food before we left.

Usually I never leave a bad review. I've worked in fast food, but this warrents it. This is the 2nd time we came here in a month. Poor service both times. They could not get our small orders right. Looks like they messed up the orders of other people around us too. Worst part, it's not even busy. Girls are too busy messing around and talking to pay attention and do their jobs. Got icecream sizes wrong. Got a poorly blended blizzard after they had to remake due to wrong size, again. It's sad since this is the only chill & grill near us. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

This DQ has the worst service I have ever seen. The drive through is always a mile long with cars because the service is so slow. I have sat for a half hour for one item. Every time I go there I sit for at least 10 minutes. There are young kids working and they goof around and frequently mess up orders and charge you the wrong price. The manager does not care about the customer and never makes it right. This is a busy Dq and they cannot handle the volume. When they closed for renovations for over a month, they never even notified customers. The business is run so poorly. If it is summer, you are better off going to the DQ in Apollo. Fast and efficient. During winter you are still better off driving to another DQ cause by the time you wait for your order and hope for the right thing, you could be enjoying your delicious treat.
