My first time in at Dorothy's but came highly recommended! This is a spot I will be frequenting now. The food was great as well as atmosphere. Service was on point and I absolutely loved the specials they had to offer the night I was in. If you haven't been - it's one worth checking out!

Food was pretty good. The steaks were grilled perfectly. 1 medium and 1 medium-well. The true Pittsburgh Pierogis lived up to the reputation. Service was crazy good. It was a slow night but, you can tell they hustle here. The neighborhood is sketch AF. Make no mistake. However, the place is spotless inside, renovated and very cozy. Soft lighting but not dark. And some TV's to watch the Pens!!!!

Pierogie flavors were great, three varieties, jalapeño was the best. Beet salad was scrumptious and we shared the Reuben sandwich that came with fries. Lots of flavors of mule cocktails, and cocktail specials. Great music, vibe and service.

Fabulous pierogies and customer service! I definitely recommend the pierogies with the corned beef add-on. These are definitely authentic reminded me of grandma!

Just had an early dinner hereService was a bit slow but worth the wait!I ordered the stuffed salmon and it was wonderful. Fresh and a very generous portion.Would love to come back and try some of their signature dishes!

This was a really nice restaurant, our waitress was really attentive and helpful. I got the crab dip with pita chips which was really really good and the risotto special with scallops and shrimp. The appetizer was better than my main dish the risotto was a bit sweet and the portion was small, but it was still good. My cousins friend got the ribs and raved over them. The chicken on the chicken quesadillas was also really good and they loved the way the waitress made their drinks. My only thing was the wait time was reeeeeeeeaaaaallllyyyyyyyyy long. There was a large party in front of us but it seemed like there was only 1 cook back there. Nevertheless it's a good spot to check out. I'll be returning for the dip and maybe a quesadilla.

This restaurant is a historical gem in homestead! The atmosphere is inviting with large open spaces and an ideal outdoor seating set up. The menu has a wide selection of flavorful dishes and many shareable options. Whether you're craving a delicious cocktail to end your day or a savory dinner to satisfy your appetite, Dorothy's offers something for everyone. There is room for improvement in the service department. Although the staff is friendly, some guests have noted occasional delays in receiving orders or lapses in attention during busy times. With a bit more focus on efficiency and attentiveness, the service experience could match the excellence of the food.

Was alright and the service was so slow. It took almost 45 minutes for our food to be served and it was alright. No bad and not great. Not sure I would go back.
