Donegal Highlands Golf Course

If you haven't played Donegal Highlands lately, you really do need to give it a try. The course is in good shape (like all local courses, it could use some rain), the greens are really nice (yes, even #4), and the new owners and staff are working hard to make improvements that enhance the beauty of an already well-designed track as well as being some of the nicest people we know. We have been playing here regularly for the last 5 years, and each year, we see great improvements in the course conditions. We highly recommend it and we'll see you on the course!

I played here today and was quite happy with the shape of the fairways and greens. It's evident that there is a movement underway to upgrade the bunkers and traps but we really enjoyed the course and the staff.Recommend playing there and will be back very soon!Good job DH Staff........

I played Donegal Highlands Golf Course this morning and was pleasantly surprised. The course was in very nice shape. They are working on several of the bunkers and that's evident. The rest of the course was great. Good tee boxes, nicely maintained fairways and the greens were great. The staff was awesome, some of the nicest I have ever encountered. It's a great value and a great location. I read several of the horrible reviews before going and was skeptical, I am so glad I went and saw it for myself. The Donegal Highlands team is doing a great job restoring the golf course and I will definately go back.

We had a great time at this golf course! We loved the ease of the course and the kind staff. There aren't many bunkers, but watch out for water if you don't hit em straight. Although I am not usually in this part of the country I would stop in for another 18 if I was in the area. I heard about this course from the KDKA golf card.Aside from the fun and relaxing golf the rustic clubhouse had plenty of options to choose from for a late lunch. We had a couple of beers and ate some yummy grub, but nothing really stands out on the menu to set this clubhouse apart from the standard clubhouse fare.In a nutshell we were quite satisfied with our trip to Donnegal Highlands and would definatley go again.

course is good. Better get tee time though. Hard course to walk on and play even if it is not very busy. Had some troubles getting through on phone for tee times. Course is good though with back nine tighter fairways.

I have golfed here for about five years. What I like best is the friendly staff and relatively short wait times. Things I'd say to improve is to put in a nice bar, restaurant area. But overall it's a nice local place to play a round of golf.

This is the best course in the local area, and the only one built by a real Golf architect leading to a championship par 72 venue. It is in great shape year around and a wonderful place to have a match with your buddies. The staff is so welcoming and accommodating, best public course in the Laurel Highlands!

Absolutely horrific golf course. Should be shut down immediately. People were nice, but grass hasn't been cut since Covid started. There was 8 inch dandelions on the tee boxes & fairways. I wouldn't golf there again even if someone paid me $20,000.

JJ C's review couldn't be farther from the truth. The grass is cut very well and it was in the summer of 2020 too. The staff is very nice and the course is in great shape.

This golf course provides an excellent experience to beginners while challenging even the best of players. The employees are helpful and responsive; if you are visiting the area, stop and play. My friends and I have always enjoyed playing here and we look forward to the future of the course.
