Dolly's Diner

Waited to write this review until I was able to sample a fair amount of the menu and now I've been here for every meal. My daughter loves the cinnamon rolls and gets one to go if we're there during the day. Service is good and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The milkshakes are excellent, breakfast items are great and the specials are always good. The fries are one of my favorites but you have to enjoy homemade ones. So glad Dolly saved this diner from the scrap yard and put it to good use. Can't go wrong stopping in if you are around in my opinion.

Take a trip to the past for sure...It is a make shift 50 dinner in Apollo.Suggestion: EAT DESSERT FIRST All desserts are made in house and fresh. Breakfast was amazing. Corn beef hash was home made also. Service was great for her being by herself and we had a 5 top.

We have had breakfast and lunch. The fish sandwich platter is large and delicious. Service is as good as the food. Pleasant oldies play on the PA system.

Unfortunately, I am unable to comment on the food as after ordering, waiting 45 minutes and watching everyone who arrived/ordered after the two us (including a family of 5) get served, we cancelled our order and left. During our wait our server offered 2 coffee refills but no explanations and barely looked at us. When we cancelled the order the only thing she said was, "oh, okay." My recommendation, go to Creekside Diner only a few minutes away, they have attentive, pleasant staff and delicious food.
