Friendly staff. Quiet place. Good food. Has a very small-knit sportsy vibe. Love walking in to Pat McAfee's show on tv.

On 12/18/19 after a lengthy hair appointment at a salon in the mall, I decided I would stop at Dino's and order a pizza to take home. I ordered and waited about twenty minutes. It was quite expensive I thought for a 18 inch pizza but I had Dino's before and thought it would be good. When the pizza was done I left and drove home (approximately 30 miles). Imagine my surprise after getting home and opened the box to find the entire pizza was burnt on the bottom. Not a little burnt, but all pieces were black.I did not call as I live 30 miles away and was not driving back to Altoona. The most frustrating part is that they knew it was burnt when they put it in the box. So, not only was it expensive but it was burnt and I had to throw the entire pizza out. No more Dino's for me. Ever!!

Im at dinos pizza in the mall. They left my pizza in so long it was burnt and the guy picked my pizza up with his bare hands.. Im sorry but thats not sanitary and super gross.. And my husband got a stromboli that literally had ONE piece of pepperoni in it.. Thats it! Also ot was burnt. All around the experince was terrible! It must also be too hard for any of them to look up from their phones or yelling and joking around to even pay attention to the customer

Really good place. Lately it seems like it needs spruced up like its getting bland. But i still think its one of the better pies in town.

Oh Dino's, why did you tease me growing up. You're delicious broccoli and cheese pizza has set me up for major disappointment throughout my life. I love my dive pizza places here in the 'big' city, but not a single one of them have come up with the brilliant idea of a traditional white pizza, topped with broccoli and cheese. Oh Dino's I miss you and you're single slice options. Moral of the story is, forget the fact that it's in a mall, forget the fact that the tables are small (not their fault), and who cares if you don't give free refills (who would want to wash that amazing taste out of their mouths anyways?) If you for some ungodly reason find yourself stuck in Altoona or yet even worse stuck in the Logan Valley Mall, go find Dino's and grab yourself a slice.

Their pizza tastes like cardboard and isn't worth the price at all. Employees weren't very friendly either. Won't be coming back

When I come back to Altoona, I make a special request to stop and get their Italian Salad. With lots of mozzarella cheese, an italian dressing that needs no salad and warm, delicious breadsticks. Lovely. In addition to that, if I have to name the best pizza I've ever had- I would have to say Dino's. It's the only pizza I eat with a fork and knife, because I like to savor every piece. Who knew it would be in a shopping mall? A+ on food and friendliness of staff!

Rude Rude Rude! The employees at Dino's treat you as if you are bothering them, twice now getting eyes rolled at me as I ordered. If you don't value your customers, do take my money

The pizza and Stromboli's are fantastic. However, picking pizza up with bare hands instead of gloves or using utensils violates good sanitary practices. Wear gloves!Unsanitary procedures are not funny.
