Finally tried Deutschtown Deli while in need of lunch and craving something yummy. I opted for a Build-Your-Own sandwich and everything was delicious. I'm a big turkey sandwich girl and I enjoyed having a selection of boars head turkey to choose from. I went with the peppered but they also have maple and blackened. I hadn't had a pretzel bun in years which was so good, love this bread option. Long review short, they have so many fresh options here to choose from including the meats, breads, toppings and sides. I live nearby and will now keep this top of mind for buying sliced deli meat for home. Don't miss the soup from brothmonger, either!

I have long wanted a good deli in Pittsburgh and now it's here. They use fresh and authentic ingredients and the staff are professional and welcoming. The bread they use is wonderful. The deli is brought to you by Fig and Ash (and Fat Cat) which are both up the street from here. There are some genuine deli favorites offered, but some great salads, too. There are just a few seats inside, but there are a couple tables out back on the patio. They do mostly takeout business, but the dining room is rather inviting.

eutschtown Deli (401 E Ohio St) has some excellent service and delicious sandwich options. Small dine in counter top for those grabbing a quick bite. Overall a solid atmosphere and comfortable place to eat lunch. Photographed here is the East O Club BLT for $11.99 or ~ $15 after tax I'll absolutely be back to try a few of their signature sandwiches- Quality deli

I don't know where to start because I wanted to like this place. They are only open through lunch which made it hard to visit but I ventured down in my day off. Ordered a chopped sandwich and potato salad. Potato salad was ok, not really my style but ok. Service was questionable. The person I ordered with rang me up with his gloves on, granted I paid with card but he was just touching the screen with bare hands he handled money with. As he was making my sandwich he touched his nose several times. Not changing of gloves and no washing of hands. Eww. I did try to let them know of the issue, responded to the square receipt with the smiley or frowny.

New deli has had a soft opening but not fully open. Owned by the Fig and Ash crew. Menu has your typical deli sands with pastrami, corned beef, soppresata and a few of your typical favorites. Also has Hot Dogs.

Went in and asked for tuna salad--guy said they were all out. At least they could have hid the huge tub of tuna salad in the fridge behind the counter. So, some miserable woman working there asked if I wanted my bread toasted. I said yes and then quickly changed my mind. She proceeds to throw my bread back on the counter. Sandwiches were mediocre with hardly any meat used. $20 later for two Sammie's--well, we won't be back.

Please CYO breakfast sandwich. I did pretzel bun, caramelized onion jack! (Cheese) and bacon. If you try it and it's not one of the best breakfast sandwiches you've had, let me know so I can find a better one. Not likely though!

Nice place. We got the Dubliner, it was very good. The soups from Brothmonger are excellent, they will make you knees buckle. I like you can buy meat and cheese by the pound. We will be back.
