DeNunzio's Italian Chophouse and Sinatra Bar - Latrobe

I'd like to comment on the Thanksgiving buffet our family had at DeNunzio's Latrobe. We always enjoy dining there but yesterday's buffet was exceptional. I tried a small spoon of everything and honesty couldn't find a flaw in anything! It was truly a five star experience so much so we've already booked the family Christmas Buffet! Truly delicious food, serving staff over the top attentive and from what I could see and hear the other guests were all raving about the experience! Well done, see you in December!Kevin

It's the best Italian restaurant at a small regional airport in Pennsylvania that I have even eaten at. The bread was great, I know this because after twenty minutes at the table watching our plates of butter slowly melt we just went and got our own bread. The food was everything you'd get with the Sysco "Italian Restaurant" package deal. I imagine every morning somebody pops open two big cans of ITALIAN WEDDING SOUP and dumps them into a big pot and then they charge $5 for a scoop. Cheap food with cheap ambiance and airport prices. Not a good combination. The thing is, whoever is in the kitchen is clearly doing the best they can with ingredients more suited to a middle school lunchroom and the service staff seemed to work together well bespite being short staffed. Call this place a failure of management.

My in laws took us here to celebrate my father in law's retirement. We had the Sunday brunch. The restaurant is still completely decorated for Christmas, very dated and not the cleanest. All the food on the buffet was cold and nothing tasted fresh. It was very disappointing since it was not cheap. I honestly expected more from a place that has been around for so long. Needless to say we will not be returning.

Honestly, we walked out pleasantly surprised with our lunch experience. We landed here and had a break in our long day so we walked over from the FBO to grab lunch.We were one of two tables in the entire restaurant, which wasn't a great sign. We were instantly greeted and had great service throughout our meal. We both opted for the ravioli lunch special that included bread and a salad.Everything we had was really good and seemed to be freshly made. We had the option for meat, cheese, or a mixture for our ravioli. The were large portions even though it was a cheap special. We walked out the door without spending over $15 before a tip!We will definitely stop in again if we have a layover here.

Came here hopeful cause it was close to the airport and reviews were good. Maybe they are having a bad night? CONS - First I they advertise excellent bar service and in-fact the Manhattan is engraved on their windows. I ordered a Bourbon Manhattan than can with too much ice, lots of bourbon and no bitters. Ruined a good bourbon.Next - I order the 40.00 8oz Filet Mignon Medium with veggies. I ordered it medium, it came out rare and untested. I sent it back and less than 2 min later THeY BROUGHT ME the same steak I had already cut into, still rare!! Sent it back a third time with clear guidance to bring me a new steak that was MEDIUM. Third time they brought me out the SAME steak and still rare... seriously? After that I was done...Pros - the waitress was awesome, she was trying her best. The manager came and spoke with me, apologized and comped my meal. I also had the lemon cake (home made) and it was delicious!

Beautiful restaurant located at a small airport......I mean this place is beautifully decorated. The kinda place you come dressed up for. But seeing I just came in from FL, I was a slightly dressed down for the place. Luckily, I was there for lunch, so it was all good.The food selection at lunch is slightly limited, but the quality of selections were superb. We even tried their Italian fare desserts and enjoyed them as well. Service was super friendly, attentive, and patient as we had plenty of questions. It had been a very long time since I had been in here, and I'm so glad we decided to give it a try after so long. It won't take long to try them again, I promise you that.

Great menu and the food is very tasty and well prepared. I love the atmosphere and airport setting as well. Great to watch the planes and airport activity as you have a great meal. Wide selection of meals and great bar service.Service can be a bit slow at times and some of the wait staff not always the friendliest, but the food is still worth the visit. I would recommend if in the Latrobe area.

From the bar to the restaurant to their banquet food, DeNunzio's nails it! I've never been disappointed. Great soup, obviously Italian food and wine. You won't be sorry.

First, I love DeNunzio's, have been to all three locations. Today's experience was so disappointing especially when we brought out of town guests. All the employees looked they were all just cussed out and were completely miserable. Wedding soup had no meatballs. Out of the seven of us only two truly enjoyed their meals. White pizza had no garlic, seems like other dishes were sitting under the heat lamps too long. I think I'll just go to the Jeannette location going forward.

Felt bad for the cook at the buffet. Was insanely packed and people were super rude. The waitress only came to check on us once and when we asked for the check, she took my card and didn't return it for 35 minutes. Food was mediocre at best. Save your money.
