Absolute dive bar in the best way.The only thing keeping it from being a prototypical dive bar is that...it's pretty cavernous with more multiple big (long areas). Luckily you won't be elbow-to-elbow begging for bartenders to pour you a drink. The vibe is chill, the place isn't standing-room-only.Drinks are cheap, karaoke is good, gab is gallous.

A no fuss dive bar that still allows for people smoking inside. Why is it exempted? I have no clue but even as a non smoker, I can appreciate that Dee's a time capsule. Its a non fuss dive bar that doesn't pretend to be anything different. So bring your thirst (and your smokes if you so desire) and relish at this throwback.

Exactly what you dream of when you think of an old school pgh dive bar. Loved it. Super cheap, not packed, 3 pool tables and two dart boards.

Awesome dive bar! Classic style bar with tables, tvs, and great specials and prices. This was my favorite place out of the five stops we made on Carson.

It's a dive with super cheap drinks. Why spend more elsewhere when you can get your night started on the cheap? Very laid back atmosphere, too. They were offering $4.50 shooters, so we had a couple loopy vodkas with red bull, a delicious shooter with sentimental value. Smoking is permitted and mostly a very old crowd, neither of which we were looking for, so it was one and done for us, but at those prices and plenty of comfortable seats at the bar, who could complain?

I just think it's funny how my friends and I were carded when we came in but the group behind us wasn't. We're Black. They're white. Regardless of whether that was intentional or not, it looks bad so probably don't do that. Especially when later on that night I watched the bartender look at me but serve 4 people who walked up after me before deciding to make my drink. Trash. Won't be returning.

The service at Dees Cafe is one of the worst experiences I have ever had in my life. If there was a zero stars button that's how I would rate my experience. My friend and I stopped by to get some drinks. We wanted to start off with a water before we got more alc in our system. She said "if you aren't going to actually get a drink then you can leave, the sign says no loitering" very aggressively. For one I have never met a bartender so disrespectful in life, or that ever had a problem serving people water. You know doing her job.... was going to get a few drinks but her horrible service turned my money away. I think that older bartender needs to retire because she clearly doesn't want to do her job anymore.

Kelly the bartender was very short and rude, i was being extra kind just to see if she would be nicer and she continued to be short and rude, it was also a slow night so she has no excuse. Do better :)

Cheep drinks, good people, and it's a bar. If you're looking for a good bar atmosphere this it the place to go.
