DeBlasio's Restaurant

The service was friendly and the food was wonderful. My manicotti was clearly freshly made, which is hard to find. I would definitely return. Even the wedding soup (which contained chicken) has a great flavor. Normally wedding soups with chicken are wedding soups I can't stand. The atmosphere is okay. It seems to mostly appeal to an older crowd, but if it weee closer, it'd be on our list of frequent stops.

I thought this place was pretty good. The portions are huge! The service is good. And the food was good. A few misses though - the food wasn't hot. It may have sat for a bit due to how busy they were. Also there wasn't enough sauce on the chicken parm or pasta. That was the disappointing part. I would try this place again and try a different dish.

Solid but not spectacular. Portions are big and I think that's part of why people generally keep coming back. Service was really good but kitchen was a little slow (we took almost 2 hours for dinner--an app and entrees). Our meals--eggplant parm and manicotti--were good, but there are other Italian places I'd probably choose first. Fried zucchini appetizer was light, crispy, not at all greasy and probably my favorite part of the meal. Deblasio's is an old school Italian American restaurant. If that's your vibe, you'll enjoy; it's worth a shot.

My wife & I have been coming here for over 30 year. Never had a bad experience. Busy? Yes. Because it's good it's popular. Food is great & so is the service. Ambiance? OK. More typical old Italian. The rest of our family have made this a dining spot for them & there children.

Four of us had a great lunch at DeBlasio's today. Upon entering, you are transported to a quaint old-world feel Italian restaurant with friendly service and good food. We arrived at Noon, and the place had plenty of tables. By 12:30 pm, the lounge was busy, and by 1 pm, the dining room was filling up. We enjoyed the delicious wedding soup, side salad, broiled sole with broccoli, meat raviolis, veal parmigiana, and the Italian sub. Everything was well prepared with large portions. While we were full, we couldn't resist the dessert tray and took two home--one tuxedo cake and the other a lemon cello cake. Well done, DeBlasio's!

This place never disappoints! I've been coming here for years and everything is always exactly the same. Old school Italian decor inside including full dinning room and bar. Our waiter whom just happened to have a full Italian accent made our experience even more authentic. I ordered the wedding soup to start and for my entree I went with the chicken parmigiana and a side of angel hair pasta. Everything was delicious as usual! Their portions are absolutely huge so be prepared to take leftovers home with you.

Quit going to Blasio's about a year ago because of the disrespect shown to my Medic Alert dog. They even refused him water. " It's against the Health Department. Additionally, my companion would order water with lemon and they would state they were not allowed to that. Fast forward to yesterday, my friend and I decided to go to Deblasio's because my dog would not be with us. We were walked balk through a mostly empty restaurant to a table ine table away from the rear exit. A table right next to a couple sitting at their table. This in a rom with 10 empty tables. My friend ordered spaghetti with water and lemon. No problem. Her water even had lemon in it. I myself ordered the Cream of Chicken and Vegetable soup, a medium rare NY strip steak and green beans. I have probably had a worse steak but I cannot recall when. My steak was obviously a NY strip but it was either rare or a Pittsburgh blue steak. Hard to tell. Additionally, the steak was not seasoned. Not in the least. To be honest, I probably could have sent it back but the quality of service at Deblasio's has significantly declined over the past few years. My friend and I have decided that Deblasio's no longer suits us. No big loss.

Was there for lunch. The steak supreme sandwich was supposed to be sirloin. It was deli style roast beef with a few peppers and cheese. It was gross. Probably should've had Pizza

We have been going to DeBlasio's for years! We even had my mother's wake there. The food and service had always been great. Last night was a very different experience. Colleen was so rude, then at the end of our meal as I was trying to put on my coat Colleen said:" JC (I won't use His name) get out of my way already. I'm trying to take care of another table." We had already paid our bill and she got her tip. which was generous considering we were charged $5 to split a plate (two pieces of chicken) then we were charged $6 for paying with a credit card. That is where the other $11 of her tip went. She continued to be so rude, I said I was just getting my coat on. We had been visiting my friend we had not seen in a while on our way through town. Colleen continued to use "JC" again to tell me to hurry up. So disappointed in this service. If we go back, I will be sure to ask NOT to have Colleen for our server. She treated us like she was doing us a favor by waiting on us. I guess she does not realize we were paying her. If she had not taken the check & tip off the table trying to get rid of us I would have taken back the $20 cash tip. Deblasios please tell Colleen she is making a bad name for your restaurant business you have worked so hard for. I hope she changes the way she treats your customers.

Old fashioned red sauce Italian restaurant with nice variety and ample portions. Great service.
