Never returns calls, not very community oriented. Very cold place, no atmosphere. Average prices.

Nothing personal, but so far I haven't found wineries that I enjoy in Pittsburgh. The wines are decent but dry wines dominate most wineries. HOWEVER, I enjoyed D&O's diverse selection. I enjoyed that the dry wines weren't so mouth drying. The sweet wines were very fruit forward, which helped minimize any potential for extreme sweetness. I particularly enjoyed the Bear (dry-red) and the Lemon Essence (fruit). I particularly want to commend on the lemon wine as I typically hate anything lemon flavor because it tastes artificial. I'm glad my partner (who loves everything lemon dessert flavored) decided to try this flavour because I fell in love. Tonight there was a cover band playing. They were good, just wish it hadn't been so loud as it made it a little difficult to have a conversation. Overall, I would definitely return to this winery!

Highly recommend for your next after-work unwind or your next small gathering! The wine is amazing and the owners/employees are so so kind. I wish I would've known about this place when I lived in crafton. The event space is great and recently renovated We are holding an event there in a few weeks and I will update my review once we do!

First visit to this winery. The owner was very nice and pleasant. She provided a nice background story on the place. They've been making wine since 2009. We tried the reds and some white wine. I thought everything was good.I had a glass of the cab, and my wife enjoyed a glass of the Steuben. In which it was a great tasting semi-dry wine. The pino grigio was my favorite.I recommend checking this place out. They're opened in the evening hours during the week. Longer on the weekends.

My husband and I went last night, the place is beautiful and the wine was great. We had a glass of their cab and pino both were very good. The place was crowded and they had live entertainment. We took 3 bottles home with us. A little pricey than some of the other wineries in the area but still very tasty. They had wine slushies along with beer and some spirits. The owners were both working the bar and were very friendly. We would definitely stop by again. **There's no food but they let you bring food in. **street parking

D & O Wine Cellars is KILLING it! And I can see why! The night I stopped in, there was a large private party in their event space and every single table in the public space was taken. This is always a good sign!I absolutely loved the casual atmosphere, which makes this my kind of place. This is a place where I think they encourage you to sit back, relax, play some board games, and stay a while. Drink selection is also rather large for a wine cellar. They don't just offer wine, they also have some spirits for a small selection of cocktails and a selection of craft beers. On top of that, the pricing is so reasonable. Again, my type of place! Any glass of wine is $5 no matter which kind you get and there is no limit on tastings! I tried a few of the wines and ended up ordering the Pinot Grigio. I highly recommend checking this place out! Very friendly people offering great tasting wine!

I was invited by a friend to join her for Yoga and wine. Great Sunday morning. The place is a little hidden gem in Crafton. They have a nice open bar area with big front windows. In the back is a private room good for drinking with friends....or actually yoga! The wine was decent. I tried the Pinot Grigio and a little sample of the wine slushy that was refreshing. I'll definitely go back to try some other wines.Bonus, they have Quantum Spirits avail for non-wine drinkers. Seriously, go to Quantum Spirits in Carnegie if you've never been. Can't wait to go back after work for happy hour!

Great local winery, run by two great people. Lots of flavors to suit whatever your wine tastes are.Pro tip: get some take out from Sarafino's down the street and enjoy it over a bottle (or two) of wine.

Outstanding selection at reasonable price point. First let's be clear I am no where near a wine snob (nor do I desire to be one), but I throughly enjoy a bottle correctly pair with a nice meal. As we (family on a 5 day food road trip) prepared to sit down for dinner at Sarafino's (just up the street) I remembered seeing a sign for a wine cellar on the corner. I suggested to my wife a bottle of something would be perfect with any or all of the Italian options we were contemplating on the menu. She agreed and I was off (less than a block) to D & O to see what they might have. With no expectations I was pleasantly surprised to step in to this local wine bar. I was greeted warmly and not knowing if it was a bar or truly a cellar I asked if they sold the bottle. I'm sure they get a fair amount of Sarafino's guests as it's location is absolutely perfect. My bartender said yes and we quickly got into a conversation about some of their options and potential food pairing. As I had yet to make a food order he suggested their dry red and gave me a taste. I liked the taste and figured my wife would as well. Almost as quickly as I had decided a bottle would be nice I was back to order and enjoying the bottle with dinner. I would strongly recommend D&O to anyone planning to dine at Sarafino's and would even take it a step further next time and make menu choices prior to choosing the wine. I am confident that D&O will graciously set you up with a perfect pairing.
