Crispy's Fish & Chicken

I stopped here to grab a quick bite. Chicken nuggets seemed like a good on the run food. I Aldi saw the fish and ordered a piece of that. You get 2 or 3 mixed items for a certain price. The cashier was not real friendly. The nuggets were not that great. Tasted like frozen and just fried. The fish was good. Not much seasoning bit good with a little hot sauce. Would I go here again? Maybe for the fish or trying the shrimp.

I love their chicken and fries, seasoned perfectly. Been ordering from this location since they opened up. But since covid, they never answer the phone anymore. It just hangs up on after it rings for a while. I would love to have the option to order over the phone like I use to.

I come here every weekend with my gf and we love chatting with the nice man that always has a smile on his face who runs the place he always offers us sweets while we wait for our order. He's fast, the food is fresh and seasoned generously. The portions are enough for two meals.. definitely check it out when you're at the mall

Best food at the mall, simple menu, and tastes great. I had the chicken sub and the mix of ranch, tomato, pickles, hot sauce and chicken tinders is so good.

The fish and chicken were both overcooked and the mozzarella sticks were the same as any other restaurant. Someone should show initiative and make their own recipe for mozzarella sticks.

I've seen this place at the mall before and have been interested and finally got to try it the other day. The chicken and fries are delicious! There is some sort of dry rub that goes on top and it's unique and so good! The fries are double fried so they are perfectly golden and crispy. Prices are kind of high for what you get and all the sauces are extra. The basket meals don't come with drinks either. There is no signage for the options of what kind of chicken meat you want so the default is wings, I guess. I mean, it's delicious but also tiny though.

Super delicious chicken wings, me and my girlfriend loved it. It is a whole wing, the meal comes with fries and that's good. Very friendly staff and prices is within the average

Came from out of town to see the mall & didn't know what to eat. I just followed the line & figured this would be a good place. I was truly blown away by how delicious this was! There was one person working this & he was incredibly sweet & incredible at everything he was doing. If you come to this mall, you would be missing out if you don't grab food here. i truly am considering taking the 6+ hour trip all over again just to have this. there may be a small wait, but it couldn't be more worth it.

I'm not wrong often but, when I am, I admit it. Came to Pittsburgh with my girlfriend and we decided to visit the Monroeville Mall as the George A. Romero zombie horror classic Dawn of the Dead was filmed there and we heard about the Living Dead Museum in the mall. Upon arrival, we saw the Museum was closed for an hour so we used the opportunity to get something to eat. Naturally, being from out of town, we were unsure of what's good to eat 'round these parts, as it were. We saw a sizable line forming in front of Crispy's and decided to give it a try. Honestly, my expectations were low if not non-existent solely based on the fact that fast food style chicken has never really impressed me. We both ordered a 3 piece tender and fries meal. We waiting a little while for our food and when it arrived I was already impressed with the presentation. 3 tenders and fries filled the entire to-go box and these were some husky tenders too dusted in a spice that I still can't quite identity but nonetheless crave to this day. I took a bite of my chicken and felt something hit the ground below my feet. It was my dick. The chicken was so good it literally blew my dick off. Pardon my French. I swear on all that is good and sacred in this world that I will make it my life's mission to make the 6+ hour trek back to the Pittsburgh area again just to try this chicken. The chicken and fries were hot and fresh and everything tasted "clean" if that makes sense. Like there was no doubt in my mind, despite having not personally seen the inside of that kitchen, that that jawn was spic and span. Which brings me to my next point: the sole employee holding down the fort like an absolute boss. My man working the counter was a whole one man show taking orders preparing food and delivering friendly service with a smile which is a nice change of pace from the norm. If his boss sees this, he should give him a raise. If he's his own boss, he should buy himself something nice. The food here certifiably wrecks butt (in the best possible connotation) and the customer service is worth a 5 piece all day even without the food. I usually don't leave reviews but love makes you do crazy things and try stuff you normally wouldn't I suppose. In conclusion, keep up the good work, keep slangin' that chicken and I WILL be back for seconds. #GodBless

I Love this place. Whether I'm in the mood for fried chicken or fried fish, I'm never disappointed. Always fresh, hot, and delicious, with good sized portions.It's no wonder why they're always busy, but never too busy to deliver great delicious food.
