Pastries are good. Not a big variety to chose from. I know they have signs that they are hiring which is good. The poor baker was rushing me to order so she could continue baking. She was really sweet though. Prices are super cheap! This is only a to-go bakery! You can't sit down and enjoy a coffee with your pastry inside. Again our cinnamon rolls were fresh and delicious!

The overall ranking is as crazy as that Q conspiracy! Best snails we've found, & their pies are great. Had their cinnamon rolls and doughnuts and they were also very. Worth stopping and a great lesson on these rankings-don't pass this by.

I stopped by when I was in the area and bought a selection of items. While most of what I tried wasn't extraordinary, the pie crust cinnamon squares are 100% worth going out of your way for! Warm them up in the microwave and let deliciousness ensue. Some of the other items I tried included a chocolate chip cookie, Hershey kiss cookie, buckeye, chocolate gob with vanilla cream, and chocolate peanut butter fudge. Out of those, the Hershey kiss cookie was best. I didn't try any of their pies.

We finally stopped here after wondering for years if it would be delicious. It was! We bought coffee, two cream filled donuts and a small individual blackberry pie for $7 bucks. The cream filled donuts were the best I've ever had. Rich and creamy. Go for it. You won't regret.

Had a pumpkin walnut cookie in the middle of summer. Seems more like a fall thing but purchased anyway. Cost $1.05 for one misshapen smallish cookie. Paid in cash and got my $0.95 change. Hate to say it but it was a sympathy purchase as I like to support small business and I didn't really see anything that caught my eye. Cookie wasn't tasty and I got a chunk of baking soda in my first bite. They share space with the country store and neither have a public restroom. Was an annoying experience. We got off the highway to use the bathroom and grab a soda. Passed a McDonald's but sad the sign for the store and thought it would be fun. It wasn't. We went back to McDonald's and used the bathroom and purchased a soda

Oh my goodness. Forget everything else. Buy the orange-iced cookies. My friend and I both agreed that we may have had a cookie *as* good, but never one that is better than these! Once we left, we began calling around to see if they had other shops (they do) and where it was (just one more shop, too much out of the way for us), but that is how much we wanted to buy more of these cookies to take back to St. Louis.A bit of a let-down when I ate the only other thing we bought...a brownie. It wasn't very chocolatey and the icing was too gritty. It was good but I wouldn't order it again.

This is a must stop when up in the western PA Laurel Mountains. A variety of baked goods with excellent pies. Our favorite here is the cinnamon snails, a small chunk of cinnamon sugar goodness. The pillow fruit filled cookies are also great.
