Country Junction Restaurant

The food is good down home country cooking! If you like that then this is the place for you. I ordered country fried steaks and eggs for breakfast and it was cooked perfectly. My husband had the buckwheat pancakes and they were outstanding. The amount of food on the plate is a deal for your money. The prices are really good too. It was a weekday when we're there so it was not busy and relatively quiet. Our server was very friendly.

I was visiting the neighborhood to get some home baked Amish items and this place was an ABSOLUTE DELIGHT for their pies. All the pies they have on display are mouthwateringly delicious! I got the apple pie and the chocolate peanut butter pie and both were superb! When you enter the shop, it doesn't look like much. But when you go into their restaurant area, you see the pie display and a full food menu. They have a lot of space for indoor dining. The staff is super friendly. Parking was also quite convenient. Definitely recommend this place and their homemade pies when you are visiting the Amish country!

Quintessential country restaurant fare...Buuuut with more baked goods than anywhere. Well cooked standards of ample portions. Homemade white bread. Had the steak and eggs for a change and the steak was not the typical thin cuts offered for this dish...they were thick slices of really tender beef. Pleasant surprise. How couldn't believe how busy the place was for its location in Smicksburg.

We waited over an hour and a half for our food and it never came out. We weren't offered refills on our drinks and we were told multiple times that our food would be out "shortly". Other people came in before us and ordered, ate, and left. We didn't even get our food, so I can't leave a review for it. We walked out. This place was so much better when the Huffs owned it. They're lost our business, that's for sure.

Delicious food, fast service, and the best pie! Go on Friday night for the fried fish platter.

The service was great. It was busy but the speed of service was on point. The food was mostly good no complaint but only one thing in my opinion was bad. I had a Western omelet with home fries.A 1/2 order of sausage, grav.Y over biscuit and bacon, everything tasted great except for the potatoes.Which kind of tasted a little like dirt like they hadn't been washed fully but still an amazing meal.My son had a spicy chicken sandwich With Cole slaw and French fries, everything was good.The Coleslaw had a slight metal taste but was good My other son had sausage gravy over biscuits and it was amazing

This restaurant was very busy but we were seated in 15 minutes. Got drinks and Cole slaw right away but waited an hour before we got our meal. I got roast beef sandwich and mash potatoes. Beef was good but bread was nothing special and gravy was off. Tasted like packet gravy. Portions were ok but definitely not generous. Wife got turkey sandwich and mash potatoes. She said it was good. We got lemon meringue pie which was delicious. Also got iced cinnamon rolls. They were ok, not a lot of cinnamon. We drove 50 minutes to eat there. Won't do that again.

Super friendly, attentive service, a menu with many options, and home-style food. It is wonderful to have a sit-down restaurant in the area when visiting the shops in and around Smicksburg, PA.

I love this place . The food is excellent . Home made soups and specials every day . Pies are oh so good ! Any of their entree or sandwiches are delicious. Right in the heart of Smicksburg ! The wait staff is always friendly and service is great. It's a homey country feel and very relaxing. You won't be disappointed. Prices are very reasonable !

Sunday July 16th 2023. waiting 40+ minutes for for breakfast, pancakes and french toast is out of pocket.
