What a great spot. Excellent service, good beers, family friendly. They had a good variety of beer. They also have garage doors to slide open if it ever warms up again, and fire pits if it stays cold forever. Great spot, will return.

Stopped in on a Thursday for a few beers and some video games. This brewery has a good amount of seating available, considering so much space is occupied by the brewing equipment itself. I paid for the first round of 3 beers and a juice box and it was about $25 after tip. I had the hefeweizen in a nice tall glass and it was crisp and refreshing. They have a nintendo-esque gaming console set up by the couch in the corner and my friend's kids were loving it. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We saw a few dogs inside and people bringing in their own food to munch on with their beers. I saw a couple bags of chips at the bar, but it seems like they have a decent rotation of food trucks that come through too.

I stopped by here earlier today with my wife for some afternoon drinks. We unexpectedly had an afternoon to ourselves and so I fired up Yelp and found a new brewery to us that was somewhat close by. Costar happened to fit that bill and we ended up heading into Etna to go there. It's located right on the main drag, Butler Street, and is in an Industrial type building. The building had garage doors which were open on this day since it was pleasant out. They had both indoor and outdoor seating and a cornhole set out as well. Finally they had their brewing equipment on display and you could easily see where they worked.Beer wise, they offered 5 different beers. While I normally go with a flight, they didn't have that here and so I ultimately decided on a full Candice IPA while my wife went with a half cream ale and we decided to split a kolsch. I started out with the IPA which came in strong with hops from start to finish and you could easily tell it was an IPA. After that I tried my wife's cream ale which was smooth upfront before you got lots of malts on the finish. Last but certainly not least was the kolsch which was nice and on first sip reminded me more of a lager on the finish than that usually distinct kolsch taste. However, on the second sip I definitely got that distinctly kolsch taste up front before that lager like finish. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. My wife and I enjoyed both the beers and the ambience and I would be interested in trying the rest of their beers.

Costar was a chill and family friendly place. There are games and seating in the back for kids. Pet friendly also. Staff was very friendly and helpful when choosing a beer. The cream ale was refreshing on a Sunday afternoon. Definitely will be back. No food but they have chips to snack on when there's not a food truck.

Service was very attentive. Bar tender explained the offerings and really enjoyed their own mojito pour. Very yummy. Ambiance was an open door concept when we went and the weather was beautiful. Lots of people with dogs sitting in the outdoor area. Outside hot dog vendor offering a variety of toppings. Inside they had small bags of chips for sale (Doritos, etc).
