This is one of those places. If you are driving slow enough you'll be drawn in by the smell. Ordered the Redneck Egg rolls, pulled pork sandwich, Redneck Cheese steak, side of Mac n cheese, and BBQ baked beans. Everything was cooked to perfection. Good amount of smoke on the meats. The Cheesiest Mac and cheese, great smoky tangy baked beans. Several sauces to choose from. The Redneck Egg rolls had cole slaw, meats and cheese. Delicious.BTW the sauces are great, but you don't really need them with these meats.I love these smaller Mom n Pop places. Low overhead so they can focus on the food. AND THEY DO FOCUS ON THE FOOD.The couple that owns and operates the place are friendly and offer excellent customer service. Great job.

Copney's BBQ has the best BBQ north of the Mason-Dixon. Every time I am in the Cook Forrest area, I make a point of eating there at least once. They cook everything from scratch. The pulled pork is fantastic and it's made from pork butt, not pork shoulder. It's tender and smokey. The sauces are home made and delicious. The pork ribs are so tender that the meat falls off the bones and you don't need a knife at all. My favorite is the mac and cheese, which is so cheesy that the cheese stretches out in long strings when you pick up a bite. For something different, try the Redneck Eggrolls, which is pulled pork, coleslaw, and provolone cheese in an eggroll.

This is one of my favorite BBQ places. The chicken is never dried out! I don't like ribs, and I love their ribs! Haven't had a bad meal here! The people working there are super friendly! If you are in the area check it out....you won't be disappointed!!!

I am not sure if bbq gets better than this. Very generous portions, good prices. Outdoor seating only, in a state park setting.. All the bbq was great, but the ribs were the star. Oh and great job on the slaw..and it's nice to see a super casual place with fresh cut fries..

Authentic. Fresh. Delicious. One of the better eating establishments in the forest area, we've eaten here a few times and really enjoyed ourselves. Try the ribs with speciality sauces and don't forget to go hungry. As a note; this is picnic, family style, outdoor seating. Enjoy!

We go to Cook Forest regularly and always make a point of stopping at Copney's for authentic BBQ. I recommend the hill billy egg rolls and the mac and cheese. I've tried the pulled pork and the chicken and both and great.
