Coop de Ville is an interesting mix of a barcade, southern eatery, and duckpin bowling alley, making it a great spot for a casual hangout with friends. The menu leans into Southern comfort food, and surprisingly, the chicken tender kids' meal is actually a decent portion for an adult--good to know if you're not super hungry but still want something satisfying. Very casual spot where you line up to order. The atmosphere is definitely lively, but be prepared--it gets extremely noisy and crowded at night, which might not be ideal if you're looking for a relaxed meal. That said, if you're here for the bowling, arcade games, or just a fun night out, it's a solid choice. Overall, a unique place to gather with friends, especially if you're in the mood for some bowling with your fried chicken.

One of the coolest bars in Pittsburgh. Love the vibes. The painting on the wall and all the arcade games, pink ball machines, pool tables, and duck pin bowling make this a great place to take your friends from out of town. Sundays seems like it can be packed with young kids but fridays and Saturday's are great for young adults. Big fan of how they have a line for ordering drinks at the bar so people don't reach over those sitting at the bar. Also food is solid. Loved the chicken tenders and fries as well as the Mac and cheese. They have some cool dipping sauces... I recommend the garlic ranch.

It was pretty loud, as one would expect for a late Friday night. I wish that they had some fish/seafood options on their current menu, but I got the Farro & Quinoa bowl with the poppy vinaigrette. The apple in it was really fresh and crunchy, and the roasted carrots complemented the crispy chickpeas nicely. The salad dressing was also good. I went bowling with some of my friends and had a lot of fun. One of the lanes malfunctioned a bit, but staff were very understanding & fixed it quickly. Overall nice place to hang out and have some fun after a long day.

Roadhouse sandwich. Looked mediocre, tasted DELICIOUS. I'm here as a bar patron a lot and rarely eat here so this was a rare treat. Boyle's cream soda was a nice touch and compliment to the meal. No time for games/ drinks today though. Even so, the food stands on its own. Come for drinks or food or games or all. Keep this place more buoyant than it is.

Some of the best Southern Comfort food in the Burgh, Coop De Ville. Comfort food, cocktails and coffee! A fun restaurant in the Strip District featuring arcade games, bowling, billiards, indoor and outdoor seating & more...They literally have it all!!! Coop is a cafeteria style restaurant serving up delicious Southern foods. They have a large bar and a trailer bar with fun cocktails. Plus a coffee bar with great creations. OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK!!!Checked it out for lunch & loved- such a chill vibe! Had the BBQ Brisket Sandwich with a side of Spicy Collard Greens and a Boylan Crème Soda and of course had to get a fall coffee on my way out for an afternoon pick me up- Boo Berry Latte, so good & flavorful!

The chicken here was delicious! We had the Buffalo Chicken sandwich and a Nashville Hot sandwich. The breading on the Nashville Hot was perfect and the spice was tasty with a little heat. The slaw compliments the heat well. The collards were good...but overpriced at $5.50. The crinkle fries were good. We sat at the bar and service was mediocre (I expect better when u r seated right in front of them). The overall vibe here is pretty cool...but we didn't play any of the pinball machines or bowl.

I can't believe it has taken me this long to finally eat here, but we had a fantastic lunch at Coop! My Nashville Hot chicken sandwich was fried to perfection. Great heat, and it paired nicely with broccoli salad. The chilled salad brought the heat level down a bit. My wife loved her sandwich and seasoned fries. Great ambiance and a lot to do here. The Euro Cup was on, and this was a perfect place to catch the match with a drink and a bite to eat. We will be back!

I met friends at Coop de Ville on a Friday afternoon. I found a spot at the bar for all of us. The bartender, I think his name was Justin, was awesome! He kept checking on us and offered friendly conversation while I waited for my friends to arrive;) So sweet! The decor inside was shady chic. The bar was pretty and had a few TVs. There was a Duckpin bowling alley on the side opposite the main bar, which was a separate room. There was another smaller bar in the front that had a few outside seats. And there was seating outside in the front (not covered) and on the side (covered) of the building. I ordered Corona Extra and my friends had cocktails. We shared an order of poutine, fries topped with gravy and scallions. The fries were pretty tasty. It was starting to get crowded right before we left. Which made it much louder as the ceilings were high, so everyones conversations were echoing. I want to go back and try the chicken. But I would definitely prefer to be there when it is less crowded and not as loud lol.

Fun and delicious! This would be a great place to hangout with a group of friends. My friends and I swung in this past weekend for a quick lunch and games. There are SO many classic arcade games and pinball machines. They have plenty of pool tables as well. We didn't bowl, but it seemed like a ton of fun. The arcade also has vending machines filled with White Claws and mini bottles of champagne. I ordered the K-town, which was the perfect size and very, very tasty. It took about 15 minutes to be ready.

I had the most delicious coffee affogato drink! It's made with Millie's vanilla ice cream and Coop's cold brew. I wasn't sure what to get and the barista recommended this to me. It was one of the best coffee drinks I've ever had! It was smooth, creamy and just the right amount of sweetness. I really hope this one stays on the menu for a long time because I'm still thinking about it! My barista was really friendly, she made the drink quickly and I just love the daytime vibe of Coop de Ville, especially during the week.
