Great local diner for breakfast if you're visiting the state park or just passing through. We nabbed a free parking spot on the side of the building and then got a booth inside. Our server was nice, and the kitchen was fast. Hubby couldn't finish his berry pancakes, but my plate of biscuits and gravy was just the right size. Speaking of size, his orange juice was HUGE. Not sure anyone needs that much liquid sugar and pulp in the morning. The price was right. Didn't check out the restrooms while we were there.

OMG! If you're ever passing through Chester WV, or you live here and don't know about Connie's, please become acquainted. They have specials and serve the entire menu all day, which means breakfast. I had the pecan pancake and a side of bacon. I thought I'd get a pancake with some caramel pecans on top or something. Nope. Pecans cooked right in there so you get pecans in every bite. The pancake was crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside and they bring you warm syrup. I got six pieces of bacon with my order. They make their sweet tea here. Hubs had the chicken fried steak and it was amazing. So was Sonia our server. Such a darling lady. Don't pass this up.

Excellent food. Generous with portions. I've been here once and looking forward to going again. Service was great, waitress answered questions and recommended dishes. Small but very homey feeling. Love the small town feel.
