Best burgers and service in the area. Staff is terrific and welcoming. Better than any other bar in the area for burgers and beer.

Let me start by saying that I LOVE A DIVE BAR! And this place is the text book definition of a dive bar. This place is what looks like an addition to someones home. You walk in and it is noisy in a good way.....people laughing and having conversations, the jukebox, the TVs..... It's really small in this bar, with a long bar and a few small tables. The one thing that made me tilt my head in disbelief was there are no bar stools! I've never been in a bar without bar stools! The drinks are more than reasonably priced. A regular told us about the food and informed us that the kitchen hours are a little goofy, but if we are in the area during the times that the kitchen is open, we need to stop in for a burger. (Just for the record, I am a sucker for a great burger!) I hope they never change the way they do things.... Except maybe the bar stool thing. Only thing I wasn't okay with.

The opposite of what you would expect from a bar in Wexford, and because of that, this place is great. It's a no frills bar. No bar stools, you stand at the bar. Drinks are cheap, happy hour or not. They still allow smoking so be ready for that, your clothes will smell afterwards. It's mostly locals so you will probably get stared at a bit if you just wander in, but generally I'd expect that everyone is friendly.

Stopped in here tonight as an out-of-towner and had the best time! The bar itself was steeped in history, they even have their original liquor license that was granted in 1905 hanging behind the bar! Our bartender and the patrons that we met could not have been more friendly and the drinks/beers are the cheapest we have encountered in Wexford. Be advised, this is a smoking bar! But don't let that deter you from visiting this historical gem, which in its history has been a farm/ hotel/ midway point between Eerie and Pittsburgh where stagecoaches stopped in yonder years. Adding to the quirky awesomeness of this place is the fact that Christina Aquilera has been known to visit (it is in her hometown). All in all, this place deserves a visit if you are in the area!

Menu is simple for lunch during the week till 2pm. I had the bacon blue burger, it came with chips. Couldn't be simpler and was obviously fresh meat on a simple grilled bun. In and out with a beer under $9 with tip.

Loved this joint! Smoking has moved outdoors. Bring cash or use their ATM. Stand up at the bar, no stools. Limited table seating. Met friends for lunch during lent. Fish sandwich was so good. Nice people serving drinks and food. Bartender poured me a generous bourbon on the rocks. Have driven by this place so many times not knowing it was there. Definitely going back to try the food.

Love this uber local dive! Great pours, reasonable prices, and a fun crowd. I was nervous to go since I just moved here but everyone was a gem. Bring cash!!! No cards here. You can sit inside at the tiny bar or outside at a picnic table. Will def be back!

Stopped in here while visiting from Chicago. What an awesome find! Went back again last night and our experience was just as awesome - they remembered us! Nice crowd, friendly people, great bartender, comfortable place. People (total strangers) were offering to buy us drinks. We learned some fun bar games and had a great time. It was filled with the locals (and I mean locals - most of them lived within walking distance). This place is just off the main drag - the main drag had "strip mall" kind of bars with no character. Speaking of "characters", loyal, fun, "regulars" (the bar has been open for over 100 years) - just my liking. Probably go back there again tonight before I have to leave town. A couple of things to know - you can smoke in this bar, so it can be pretty smokey (fine with me, even though I don't smoke). It's pretty small - and therefore quaint, comfortable. This place is not fancy, if that's what you're looking for, this ain't the place. Few seats, mostly standing - which makes it even better to socialize. Even if this might not be your kind of place, it's worth it just to check it out. Have fun!
