I went to school at WVU but had not had the food in ages, so when we were doing a college tour with my daughter, we stopped here for some takeout to take back to the room. We placed our order and by the time we got there 15-20 minutes later we got the text it was ready for pickup. They were great and gave us silverware and tons of napkins. We ordered 2 dinners that could have fed a family of 4, chicken parm with blush sauce and lasagna, both came with 2 small salads and the ranch was GREAT! plus hoagie roll sized garlic bread.

Sunday, July 19th while in the Morgantown WV area decided to have dinner at Colasante's Ristaurante and Pub. I went on their website to see what interested me and fell in love with a photo of their Stuffed Banana Peppers with Italian Sausage.We drove over to the location and for about 6pm not very busy..went in and to our displeasure found it was a order at counter and grab a seat style dining. We prefer table service. I felt rushed trying to read menu over head. Several items I wanted they no longer served. She said recently changed menu and it was not reflected yet.So we went with small 10" Pepperoni and Cheese Pizza, a order of the Stuffed Banana Peppers and a order of Garlic Bread in a basket. We seated ourselves and placed our number on our table like directed.After about 15 minutes she brought out the Peppers and Pizza but no bread. She said she would be right back, but it was 15 minutes later...The pizza was okay, not the BEST but it was pizza, there was 4 slices and we left one behind. The Garlic Bread was late to the party but hot, fresh and good! The Stuffed Banana Peppers (which is why I went) was very disappointing! I was presented with Four Sliced open Peppers with Four Italian Sausage links laying sort of beside them with melted mozzarella cheese and marinara sauce...looked nothing like the advertising photo. The peppers were NOT STUFFED but sliced in halves long ways...very disappointed!! The sauce was good, the peppers were okay, they were a little al dente' for my taste and preference. The Italian Sausages were slightly spicy but again NOT WHAT I EXPECTED.$24 for dinner and left $3 in tip bucket where you order. I had lemonade and Tony had Budweiser. Nothing to brag about. Don't think I will be going back anytime soon. I recommend because you're experience might be better than ours. Nothing we ate left us craving a repeat performance!! Hope you like them!!

Ordered large drinks, the garlic bread, bowl of the soup of the day (Italian Wedding Soup), a large extra cheese meatball and pepperoni pizza. It was a terrific selection. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially because their system of ordering at the counter and they deliver it to your table is confusing for some. I loved it and enjoyed the meal.

Colasante's really is a phoenix rising from the ashes. In the age of covid, they're one of the fastest sandwich places in town. I would recommend a meatball Italian hoagie with mixed peppers.Sandwiches come with fries, which is nice as that's fallen out of favor with many sandwich joints. You really get your bang for your buck. With the remodel, they've adapted and provide excellent food and service.They recently re-opened their dining room, as well. They're ticked away a bit in Westover, just after the triangle, and they're worth a stop.

Terribly disappointing experience for our family. Out of 5 of us, not one was satisfied with their meal. The chicken for the chicken parm was a pressed chicken patty that had an awful mushy texture. This was placed on top of overcooked pasta that was in one giant clump on the plate.The steak salad was served as a bowl of iceberg lettuce topped with cold "steak-um" meat and even colder French fries. The chicken wings were not cooked properly and were still pink inside. Definitely not safe to eat. The pizza was extremely overcooked, yet served cold also. How hard is it to make and serve a decent pizza?We brought all of this to the server's attention, and she simply shrugged her shoulders and walked back into the kitchen.This used to be one of the better, consistently good restaurants in Morgantown. Sadly, no longer.
