Cobbler World is a business that sells baked goods such cobblers, cakes, pies, cookies, and breads. They sell these products in this downtown store as well as in some grocery stores. Prices are reasonable.I have tried some of Cobbler World's products. Here are my reviews:Peach cobbler - 4 stars - The peaches tasted really good. The crust was a little soggy.Pavlova cake - 5 stars - Several years ago, I ate pavlova in Australia, from where it originates. I think that Cobbler World's pavlova was comparable. The exterior of this pavlova was not quite as crisp, but it had all of the flavor.Raspberry vanilla pound cake - 4 stars - These little cakes were fresh and moist. They had a slight taste of raspberry.Sweet potato pie - 4 stars - I do not normally enjoy sweet potatoes, but the filling in this pie had a pleasant sweetness to it, and the crust was crispy.Pineapple zucchini bread - 4 stars - This bread was very moist and had subtle flavors of pineapple and zucchini.Pudding bread - 5 stars - I rarely eat pudding bread, but my husband and I enjoyed this treat. I especially liked the taste of the sugary syrup.Banana bread - 4.5 stars - This banana bread was moist and had a subtle flavor of banana.

Finally stopped by for an afternoon treat after years of curiosity about this place. The unassuming storefront under the convention center holds some fantastic baked goods! For my first trip, I tried the key lime pie and sweet potato pound cake. Yes, I know, I didn't get any cobbler, but the key lime pie just looked too dang delicious, and it tasted just as amazing. The filling was perfectly smooth and very tart with no artificial flavors and not overly sweet.Excited to make this a regular lunchtime dessert spot.

On a rainy day in Pittsburgh (aka today), CobblerWorld called our name. Actually, a really friendly guy working at CobblerWorld called out to us as my Husband and I stopped to read the CobblerWorld sign outside the shop. He said that his Mom makes really good Cobblers and they are kid approved (haha!) Obviously, we had to try them. He showed us all the treats that were available- pound cakes, cheese cakes, pudding, and of course, cobbler. After going back and forth, Husband and I chose the cobbler... it's called CobblerWorld, after all ;)We were on the run so we took a bite of our Cobbler as we continued our walk down Penn. It was DELICIOUS. I'm a little sad that we're just visitors to Pittsburgh, if we lived here, we'd probably eat Cobblers all the time. Ah well, a girl can dream. Thanks, CobblerWorld, for making my rainy day a little bit sweeter :)

These HAVE to be the friendliest, most down to Earth, funny ladies!One worker greeted me enthusiastically outside the door, holding the door open for me. The owner herself was putting some serious elbow grease into polishing her windows.The store, which just opened Monday, is tiny, and though they serve some seriously to die for-looking goodies, and delicious smelling coffee, there's no where to sit and enjoy them. I mean, who wants to wait til they're home or back in the office for this deliciousness? Because if you go home or back to work, people will expect you to share. And frankly, I wouldn't want to.Everything looked fantastic, but I decided an Apple Cobbler ($5) was going home with me. I warmed the whole pan in my convection toaster oven at 200 for 10 minutes, but it needed another 2-3. It was very, very good, definitely homemade. Perfectly baked, stuffed full of apples, and delicious cinnamon, a true "bad girl dessert". Worth every calorie!They only had 2 cheesecake flavors when I was there in late afternoon: Cherry Blossom ($12) , and Mandarin Orange ($11). Both looked scrumptious. I think they're overpriced, given how small they are, and that I can buy a whole Cheesecake Factory cheesecake at Sam's Club for not much more. I realize that these are homemade, but still. I realize they just opened Monday, but I was disppointed to see the coffee offered on a card table, albeit covered with a tablecloth.I really want these ladies to succeed, so I hope they work out the pricing and the decorating/layout. I'll be back for sure, but for the yummy apple cobbler, and some wonderful smelling coffee, served by some funny, really nice ladies. And I'm not sharing.

Husband just brought home a key lime pie and sweet potato cobbler. So incredibly delicious and home-y feeling. I believe they have limited store hours with online ordering as well. Support this local business! Nice (and different!!) treat for your next gathering- or individual portions for a date night in.

Beyond Amazing!!! My fave is the strawberry jello pretzel cheesecake..never tasted anything like it in my life!

Leah was so incredibly helpful and the sweet potato bunts were amazing! The owner also bakes everything herself.

Terina is a magnificent person and baker. I had the pleasure of devouring her key lime pie and key lime pie tarts. All had magnificent taste and texture. Terina hand delivered these pastries and pie to my work. I guarantee you will not go wrong with any items from her bakery. Thank you sooooo much Terina.

Everything I've ever tried from CobblerWorld has been delicious. I recently ordered two small cobblers. Not only were they fantastic, but I needed them in a hurry and they were ready the next day for an occasion. Great dessert and great customer service!
