Decent menu selection. Lots of seating. The food tasted decent and is definitely one of the better places to eat at around the area. But I'm giving 2/5 stars because of cleanliness. Our silverware was sticky and visibly dirty which is concerning especially with Covid being a bigger issue in this area. The staff not wearing masks is one thing, but dirty silverware that's going to go into your mouth is another, Covid or not.Update: had to ask to bring out new silverware and the 2 new sets that were brought out were also dirty with caked on specks of old food & water stained. Dishwasher most likely sprays things down lightly and doesn't actually wash the dishes.

My friend and I ate here on a visit to the town, and wow! The food was excellent, the prices were unbelievably low, and the service was phenomenal. If you like a cozy, home cooked meal, this is a great stop!

Due to work, have been in the area at dinner time the last two weeks, enjoyed the friendly, helpful service, our waitress could not have been more helpful. The dinners have been delicious as well as filling. I had the meatloaf one visit and the kraut and kielbasa the next, both wonderful. The soups are homemade and delicious, the coleslaw tastes just like moms! Peanut butter pie is to die for!

Coal oil Johnny's is a cute little restaurant in the middle of nowhere close to the camp grounds. The menu has a great selection of American style food. There are also cute souvineers in the shop too with their name on it. The service was great!! The waitress was very kind and she knew exactly what I wanted even when I wasn't talking to her directly. She pays very close attention to detail. She was super sweet. The food was great too. Very filling. I definitely recommend this place when stopping by to camp!

A local Cracker Barrel looking restaurant on the inside. Hole in the wall looking on the outside. The staff was nice helpful and courteous. I believe it's the cheapest price I've paid for breakfast yet. The food was awesome ... Thanks Holly!

Stopped by on a motorcycle trip from VA to OH. Lunch was great! Had the roast beef sandwich with a small salad. Sandwich was just the right size for lunch, added fried onions and mushrooms. Salad was fresh, good blue cheese dressing. Our waitress did a great job, very attentive for the 8 of us.
