Clark Powell's Restaurant & Bar

We picked up some pizzas and appetizers when passing through. the pizzas are not the best we've had, but better than what we have found in State College. The apps were good, but pricey. we would definitely go back if we are in the area.

We were set to celebrate a milestone birthday for my Dad. He didn't want anything too extravagant and requested that he'd consume some pizza. I have never heard of this place, but my Dad knew all about it. Even my siblings knew about it, but I was oblivious about it.We called ahead to reserve for the party size we had. Got there, walked in, was lead to our table and had menus in hand. I wasn't hard pressed on what we were going to be ordering and I just went with the flow.We went with a few pizzas, pepperoni and cheese. There were a few appetizers on the table as well. I didn't partake in the appetizers as I was looking forward to the pizza. This pizza is amazing. The crust is thin and crunchy. Toppings don't overtake the pizza, it is evenly distributed. The pepperoni was amazing, the grease from it gave the pizza a bit more flavor that just made it much more enjoyable. The whole table was satisfied with the pizza and everyone definitely got their fill. Our servers were gracious checked on us often to make sure if we needed anything.

Word on the street is CP has good pizza. We sat at the bar and ordered pizza, stromboli, and fried zucchini to go, and drank Pink Whitney's while we waited. It was a long wait, probably about 45 or 50 minutes. But we got the bill which was $47 and asked the bartender did he forget to put the drinks on there?? He said he did not. What the heck?? We need to do more drinking in Ebensburg. The pizza, stromboli, and zucchini were all delicious and well worth the wait. It was even better the next day. The $47 bill bumps CP from 4 to 5. This bill would have been $112 in KW or NYC!!

Pub/tavern style menu. Thin-crust pizza, offers a pizza buffet night where you can sample a variety of pies. Great wings (whole wings - larger size) with delicious wing sauces. Can't beat their ice-cold draft Yuengling served in a frosted mug.

Great service! Pizza & wings were VERY good! We are from NY and were visiting our daughter in college and was hoping to find a great place to eat and this was perfect!

Best pizzaIn Kentucky we don't have a pizza even close to Clark Powell's. We take several home when we visit here!

Can't tell you how the food was. We waited for over an hour and never received the appetizers. We were pretty hungry so we decided we better go somewhere to get something to eat. La Fiesta was delicious!! 0 stars to Clarkys. First time and definitely the last

Great little pub with good food and service. Reuben and cheese balls was a nice lunch. Convenient to courthouse.

pizza is awful wings were okay but they were not fully cooked. The delivery guy was super sweet

Love this place! Awesome food! Great service! Nice people! Across from the courthouse! Kind of Ebensburg's version of Cheers!
