Always delicious, their specials are usually unique and different from the usual menu so you can switch it up from the usual. The staff is nice and attentive for the most part. If you're sitting outside on the patio I have noticed that service is more iffy than usual, probably because they're not walking past you as much, like they do in the small interior. But definitely the place for a delicious lunch!

A couple friends convinced me to join them for lunch here a few weeks back, and I can't believe what I've been missing. Great food made to order, friendly staff, and incredibly reasonable prices. Easily the best place for a quick lunch in Somerset.

We stopped here on way to Pittsburgh after reading excellent reviews on Yelp. It was awesome lunch!!! My Mom and I got the chuck sandwiches, delicious. My daughter and wife had quesadillas and loved them. And my son had a chuck wrap and said it was delicious too. The waitress was super nice too. My Mom and wife loved the decor. Wish this was closer to home.

So I have lived in Somerset for thirty years and today was my first day coming into the Chuck Wagon Restaurant and I had to find out why everyone says that it is so good....at first when you walk in it's like a small house inside with a antique western flair and it's warm and friendly...going to the table we got our menu and it was all ala cart and reasonably priced...I ordered the French onion soup, cheese sticks and the pulled pork sandwich minus the coleslaw and there wasn't anything special that popped out at the overall presentation of the meal...run of the mill cheese sticks that is the standard at all restaurants the French onion soup was filled with onions and the bread was all the way at the bottom...usually it's onion soup then bread with cheese set over the bread but it was the cheese resting over the onions it was ok it could have been warmer but the flavor was typical...it could have used more broth less onions and finally the main event for which the restaurant had awards for was a fresh roll with pulled pork and it had a Smokey taste but the bbq sauce was thin like it separated from being over the heat so the flavor was mostly smoke...overall it was okay three stars is what I would say for something that was not memorable or not horrible it was in my opinion just there....

I've never had a bad experience here, the staff is always so nice and friendly and they really know the people around. The food is amazing and I always go anytime I have the time since it's hard to do with going to school since they're only open until 3. It is well worth the wait. The food is great with lots and lots to choose from. If you're ever in town I'd definitely recommend that you check this place out!

I've been coming here for lunch since I was in high school and it's still as good as I always remember it. Since they're only open for lunch during the week, I used to plan my weekend visits home from college so that I could get home on Fridays in time to grab a bite here. I almost always get their chicken quesadilla, which is filled with tonssss of cheese and tender chicken, with yummy salsa, sour cream, and freshly chopped tomatoes on the side. You can also opt to add grilled onions or peppers if you'd like! Their grilled Italian hoagie is fantastic, as are their various salads. The beer battered fries or curly fries are hard to pass up, and I added the latter as a side to my lunch quesadilla order yesterday because, well, why not?! I can honestly say I've never had a bad or mediocre meal here! Their prices are outstanding, you can get out of here for less than $10 a person and you'll likely have leftovers to take home! They have great specials too, like a salmon pesto salad or turkey devonshire that were on the menu yesterday. They may only be open for lunch at the brick and mortar restaurant, but their catering is also top notch! Just about every wedding I've been to in town has been catered by them and I'm definitely not complaining. The staff here is always pleasant, quick, and helpful. Many of them have been working here for as long as I can remember, which is always nice to see and not something I notice a lot back where I live now in Pittsburgh. Definitely get to the Chuck Wagon if you're looking for a great weekday lunch in Somerset!

Excellent Cobb salad with steak. Yum! Quick service. It was a perfect halfway spot for us both ways to and from Tallmadge Ohio and Washington DC.
