Chuck Wagon Restaurant

It's difficult to not give a great review here, but I think we came at a bad time. On a Sunday, the restaurant was packed when we arrived. However, we were seated right away. This is cash only, and menu items are affordable. Our service, and food was not good. Once we ordered, it was clear that our food was forgotten (all other tables that came in after received food, we didn't) at one point after an hour of waiting, our waitress finally asked where our food was, which wasn't made. Next, the table next to us receives a club sandwich, but that's ours! They took it back.... Brought it back over to us. Burnt toast on one side, non toasted bread on the other (whaaaa?) about 10 minutes later my salad came out, it was not good. The chicken was brown it was so overcooked and dried out. I don't think I'd come back here, unless maybe for breakfast to try it out.

One of my favorite breakfast spots of all time! Definitely the best breakfast spot along Rt 40 from Beallsville to Uniontown. The menu boasts cheap breakfast options, and they have the best little servers here! I'm a french toast and sausage kinda gal and this always hits the spot. The only thing I would change about this place is that I would add shredded hash browns to the menu!Love the western interior here too. My grandpa was a chuck wagon cook in the Rocky Mtns many moons ago, so this place serves up some special nostalgia for me. They can get busy on the weekends so expect a wait or go early! Definitely one of Washington County's and Rt 40s secret gems.

Great food at decent prices served by a wonderful staff, smiles and positivity all around!

Best breakfast around and I recommend the X with an extra egg on the menu. And love morning crowd that comes in.

Always our "go to" spot after shopping & especially when hungry for a great breakfast!Our servers are very friendly & really quick on serving us; never have to ask for more coffee. The food definitely homemade & great specials too!

I'll start with CASH ONLY! Important to know if you are looking to order. We had the fish sandwich special, barbecue chicken sandwich and baked beans, Turkey club, and a breakfast meal. The food was all delicious, the fish sandwiches were massive. The turkey club had lots of meat and a good bacon ratio. The fries were good, all the fries on the table were eaten. My sister said the baked beans were to die for and my breakfast platter had lots of food for little money. Everyone who worked there was so friendly and helpful. It is a down home small diner that I would suggest to anyone in the area.Complaints: None!
