Chubby's pizzeria

Just visited this Restaurant tonight. Had heard a lot of reviews about their Pizza tasting like a old local favorite. If you're local to the area, the pizza in reference is Augustine's Pizza. It's a small restaurant in a small town with BIG flavor!We ordered a large Pepperoni with extra Cheese and Chubby Bites. The Chubby Bites are a Local Sausage (Joseph's) and deep fried. These were wonderful!!! The batter/breading was phenomenal. The Pizza came out shortly after and didn't disappoint. It came with sliced cheese instead of shredded. We truly loved the sliced cheese over shredded. I was impressed with the classic stringy cheese as we tried to cut it and it stretched from the pan all the way to our plates. The sauce definitely reminded us Augustine's Pizza. The crust was light and crispy with very subtle sweetness. The staff was amazing and very friendly. This was our first time here and the manager made us feel like he had known us a long time. They have a large enough menu that we will definitely be back to try the next items.

We had to make a visit to the local post office so stopped in for dinner. The owner talked to us and couldn't have been more gracious! He explained the history of the sauce they use and let us try a special sauce he makes (which I highly recommend you buy) to go along with the pepperoni bites. The food was yummy, but a local place, with such a wonderful atmosphere, make this place EVEN better.
