Too much celery for me. I didn't think celery was considered a Chinese vegetable.
Really good
I would recommend "The American Dream" roll - shrimp tempura, crabmeat, avacado topped with eel sauce & calamari (far right)
Beef w Broccoli

The quality, plus the value, plus the speed was amazing. I ordered a Kung Pao Chicken with Pork rice, it was amazing and less than $9. I will for sure go again soon, hopefully try something new, but since it was so good I might just have the same thing. They handed us our food relatively fast, it probably took less than 10 minutes. When you first go in it feels kind of sketchy, but once you sit down it's very cozy. I definitely recommend trying this place if you haven't been.

Beyond poopy, sloppy , bleached looking chow mein. No broccoli, no carrots ... are you ready to see the photo? UNREAL. Should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. It looked like it came in a frozen blob bleach gelatin. Oh and NO NOODLES.... No noodles with CHOW MEIN. I love it. Fully recommend you blow your own head off before ordering from here

I have been ordering from China Wok for about four years now. It is a great place to get quality chinese food in Pittsburgh. It's especially great for delivery or take-out for Duquesne students. My favorites on the menu include the steamed dumplings, fried wontons, and the chicken lo mein. The food is consistent in taste and appearance each time we order which I do appreciate. My roommate also just tried the taro milk tea and loved it!The one thing I will note is that prices have definitely gone up since we first started coming. I wouldn't say this is going to be a big bang for your buck, but I understand that with everything going on it's hard to keep prices down! That said I still think the prices are fair for the food you get.

I got the chicken with fermented black bean sauce. Unfortunately it was very bland. Almost no flavor in the fermented black beans or sauce. Chicken texture was good. They accidentally gave me white rice when I paid extra for fried. At least the egg roll was decent. Grub hub order was quick. There's a lot of good Chinese food around Pittsburgh so I was pretty disappointed.

Really nice staff and really fast delivery. Disgusting over cooked chewy stringy general chicken with chunks of cartilage. I ordered extra sauce and didn't get it. I ordered and paid for hot oil and didn't get it. The crab Rangoon were over cooked and really paste like bland because I had no hot oil or general sauce to dip in so I just threw them away.My coworker loved her fried rice and shrimp so they get 3 stars even though the garbage can ate my dinner.

My family and I ordered here Friday night via Uber eats. We were in Pittsburgh because my 5 year old daughter had to get tests done at UPMC childrens hospital. She had to fast by a certain time so we paid a little extra for priority delivery. I don't know if what happened to us was China Woks fault or Uber eats delivery drivers fault. The food was only supposed to take 30 minutes, to which the driver did pick it up by then, however he kept going around the block in this same location for about 20 minutes. We didn't get our food for about an hour later. Needless to say, we got it, and ate it. We were disappointed, some of it was cold, and chewy. Some of it was hot. We aren't front the Pittsburgh area, we are from a little place north of Pittsburgh, and don't have many Chinese options where we are located, and we thought this place was no good. The next morning, my 1 year old daughter started throwing up. Then my wife, and 2 days later I started vomiting and have flu like symptoms. I'm not sure if we got food poisoning or if the delivery driver messed with our food. However as I am writing this I am feeling like death. Had to leave work early (which I NEVER do) so I lost out on a days worth of pay. My wife and daughter are feeling a better, but 3 out of 5 of us got super sick, and my 5 year old daughter almost threw up last night but I think she fought it (she had medical conditions and sometimes gets sick and vomits and hates it, so she really fights it) I'm certain she would have vomited too. My son who hasn't vomited said his stomach was upset and he was on the toilet for hours, so we all had some kind of symptoms of food poisoning, or even something else that the driver did. We do not know.Hence that I can't pinpoint what happened, but I do feel as if we got all the symptoms to food poisoning, I am going to not recommend this place to eat. Coming from people who do not have a lot of options for Chinese and would think this place was going to be amazing. It wasn't. We have had better around our area.

Great option for a pre-concert meal. I don't think there is much competition in the way of Chinese cuisine in the neighborhood, so it seems to do a steady business. The menu offers plenty of options. I noticed they also offer delivery and catering services.Service was extremely fast. Barely any wait at all for our food.I tend to grade places on their spring rolls, and the salt content of their sauces, so this explains the 3 stars. They also used way too much raw American celery in my dish.Overall, it was a good stop before a concert since most of the other places in the area are overcrowded and overpriced.BYOB is always a plus!

This has been my go-to Chinese takeout for the last 5 years. Today, I gave my 1 year old some bites of my shrimp fried rice and he said "mmmm" and "yummm" after every bite!! I've never heard him say that before and not sure where he even learned it. That's how you know China wok is the real deal! Thanks for never disappointing!!

So good. The best Singapore rice noodle I have ever had in Pittsburgh. I used to love this dish in Tennessee and have tried so many Chinese restaurant in Pittsburgh. But this dish here tastes most like to the one I really love. Egg young is good too! Both have decent portion . Great taste for both. Highly recommended.
