Follow up review: Did a holiday lunch brought in for the office. Half trays are smaller than I expected but fead everyone (30) with lots of leftovers. Prices for trays are the same in each protein category off the regular menu.Very reasonable. Ordered 5 trays. Everyone enjoyed it. Here for lunch. Good food for this area. Hot and sour soup was very good. Szechuan beef was pretty good. Prices are very reasonable. They also have lunch buffet on Friday.

I could walk to this restaurant and often I do. Was there with eight friends in the winter and they loved it. Every single I order a quart of shrimp lo mien and a quart of won ton soup. Both are amazing. I also just love their hot and sour soup. I am waiting for the return of their Friday lunch buffet which is wonderful. This is tasty Chinese food, and it has a really fresh taste to it. All fresh ingredients. General Tso's chicken is great. So is spicy chicken and Kung Pao chicken. I have visited and have eaten in over 30 states and by far this is my favorite Chinese food.

One of the best places in Mt. Pleasant to get good Chinese food. The lunch buffet on Friday is a great "bang for your buck." The takeout is also very fresh. Service is good and the people are friendly on the phone and inside the restaurant. If you're looking for good Chinese in the Mt. Pleasant area this is the place!

China House is a fantastic Chinese food restaurant. They have excellent walnut chicken, and their crab rangoons are wonderful. The owners and wait staff are very friendly and hospitable. Working close by, we order out a lot from them. They are always very thorough with the orders!

I don't know why this place has good ratings on here. As soon as I walked in, I knew I should just walk out. However, my daughter wanted Chinese & someone recommended this place. Rating on Yelp was good, so I stayed. First of all, DIRTY. Like, gross. Walls, windows, floors, all needed serious attention. Even my chair when pulled it out from the table was sticky. The food was not good. General Tso's, & chicken with mixed vegetables was what we ordered. Came with wonton soup, which was decent, and an egg roll, which was really bad. We left an item there in our haste to leave, had to return to the scene of the crime with sick bellies an hour or so later to retrieve. The table we ate at was still dirty with our dishes. Whatever you do, don't go there. It's nasty.

Omg, on my drive to Cincinnati, I stopped by this restaurant not expecting much as I am used to great Chinatown food in NY. But wow, what a surprise. The food is really fresh and good. Not your ordinary Americanized Chinese food. If you go, you should order Mala chicken which tastes almost like this Koreanized Chinese food called Tangsooyook, but a little spicier.Very satisfied with all the food we ordered, shrimp with garlic sauce, mala chicken and general Tso chicken. All fresh and great. The only disappointment is the spare ribs which I thought was a bit dry.

Pretty sure they have the best general tso's chicken on the planet. Moo sho beef excellent as well. Very reasonable in price and lucky to have them in our neighborhood

My household never ordered an food from this place! The driver came to my house. I said he had the wrong address! I have been threatened by them! In the last 15 minutes! I live in Jeannette Pa, why would I order food from there? I order from Chinese food from Greensburg! Beware of this place!

I was in the Mt. Pleasant area (home base is Monroeville) and really hungry for Chinese. I read the reviews and decided to try China House. It was WONDERFUL! I had the Won Ton Soup, House Special Fried Rice, and General Tso's Chicken. Everything was great and so were the prices! Loved the food so much, may travel from Monroeville to Mt. Pleasant on a regular basis just to get takeout from China House! Also, all the people I met there were very friendly! I will be back!!

I looked at the menu online and thought there was such a nice variety of food. I chose the General szo shrimp as I had not seen this at other Chinese food restaurants. I was GREATLY DISAPPOINTED!! The Sauce really,really tasted right out of a can, and they took the smallest imaginable shrimp and breaded them multiple times until it looks as if you have a shrimp the size of a 50cent piece. Impressive to see in presentation, but bleh when tasted! Yuck I only could take the breading off and just eat the shrimp plain. Try the Szechuan Garden in greensburg if you truly want to taste good flavors in your Chinese food..SORRY CHINA HOUSE, YOU REALLY SHOULD TRY THE SZECHUAN GARDEN, YOU MIGHT PICK UP SOME TIPS. BTW,DECEPTION IS NOT A WAY TO HAVE REPEAT CUSTOMERS. THIS WAS MY FIRST VISIT AND MY LAST!
