This has become my husband and I's favorite Chinese takeout in the North Hills. Their food is good and very consistent with quality. Our top three fave favorite dishes are:- General Tso Chicken (5/5, would give 6/5 if I could)- Chicken with Garlic Sauce (5/5)- Chicken Lo Mein (5/5)Other dishes we've tried are:- Kung Pao Chicken (4.5/5)- Mongolian Beef (4.5/5, really good but a little heavy-handed on black pepper)- Beef with Broccoli (3.5/5)- Chicken Fried Rice (3/5, a little bland in my opinion)- Crab Rangoon (5/5)Service is always quick. It has never been more than 20 mins from ordering to when the food is ready. Prices are also really great and I think very competitive vs. the other Chinese restaurants in the area.We've only ordered takeout so I can't comment on the dine-in experience.

4.5 stars overall. My husband was in the mood for Chinese food, so I looked online for Chinese restaurants. Through a food-delivery website, I found China House. This restaurant's menu listed typical Chinese-American foods such as crabmeat rangoon, egg roll, wonton soup, Hunan pork, Szechuan beef, egg foo young, lo mein, chow mei fun, and orange chicken. Prices were reasonable.So far, I have placed two orders, one for delivery and one for pickup several days later. After the first order was delivered, my husband looked at it and exclaimed, "Oh, yeah! We will definitely be ordering from here again!" What?! My husband who is very picky about food felt satisfied at first glance?! Then he tasted the food, and he again said that he will buy food from this restaurant in the future.Here are our reviews for the foods:Kung Pao Shrimp - 5 stars - This entree contained several large, juicy shrimp as well as lots of green peppers, celery, peanuts, and carrots. The sauce was moderately spicy. Szechuan Vegetable - 4.5 stars - This entree consisted of fresh broccoli, carrots, pea pods, mushrooms, and lots of sauce.Chicken with Broccoli - 4 stars - My husband seemed to enjoy this entree. It appeared to have a good ratio of chicken to broccoli, and the ingredients looked to be fresh.Sweet and Sour Chicken - 4.5 stars - The chicken was a high quality of meat and was juicy, and the breading was not soggy. The sauce was "fine" and "normal" in my husband's words. House Special Fried Rice - 5 stars - My husband does not enjoy peas and carrots, so I requested no peas and no carrots. The chef excluded the peas and carrots. My husband commented that this is the type of fried rice that he really enjoys. He said that this fried rice was a better quality than what most other Chinese restaurants serve.At the very end of the meal, my husband said to me," Thank you very much! This food really hit the spot!" The next day, my husband told me that China House is his favorite Chinese restaurant in the area.For our second order, my husband did not want to pay the expensive fees for a food-delivery company, so he instead drove to the restaurant to pick up the food. Service was okay, friendly! You are able to order at the counter and sit down and eat. The seating area has a lot of tables and chairs, each of which were clean. The food was pretty good, not my most favorite, but would also go there again! The prices were also super decent for large portions.

this is our go to place for all our Chinese food cravings since 2017 when we moved here. The owner is super sweet and the food is always freshly made. Delicious.

Ordered delivery this weekend to celebrate Chinese New Year. I wasn't aware of China House until it appeared on my delivery app, but the reviews looked pretty good and I was happy to give it a try! My wife ordered Sesame chicken and I got General Tso's. Both lunch meals came standard with fried rice, an egg roll, and fortune cookie. The chicken was flavorful and had plenty of sauce. The fried rice wasn't anything extraordinary, but it wasn't bad either and tasted nice with some of the sauce from the chicken mixed in. Even with the 15-minute delivery drive, the food was early and still nice and hot! I'm so glad Chinese food travels well as I'm sure we will continue to order it.

The food was ready pretty fast or at least in a timely manner. The food was okay, not spectacular but good enough to satisfy my hunger. You can't eat in at this spot as they still have the protective walls up from Covid but o respect it. I would eat here again if I were in the area and wanted to pick up something on my way home.

Quality food for a small Chinese shop. Been getting Chinese from here for a while and I've never had a complaint with it. The general Tso's, lo mein, fried dumpling, wonton soup are all delicious. Don't be turned a way because t may look like just a small generic Chinese place, it's actually very good.

I ordered food for lunch through grub hub. Person who delivered it was on time, my food was nice and hot. Very good egg foo young! the gravy was delicious. Will order again.

Go to for take out while working. Best General Tso in the area. Plenty of sauce with the meal. Pick your own spice level. Love you long time.

First time ever ordering from here. Let me say it will definitely NOT be my last! I walked in and checked out the menu, and then placed my order with the friendly girl at the register. Within about 10 minutes, they had my order ready for me! I ordered Amazing Chicken with fried rice, Chicken Lomein, and an egg roll. The chicken lived up to it's name for sure, and the lomein was also excellent! Huge portions! Hubby liked his egg roll too! I'm glad I didn't listen to some of the negative reviews! I was really impressed and can't wait to order again.
