What came first? the Chikn of course....Heading to the movies and said, let's try this next to the cinema. Wow, Southern Chicken done right and don't let the heat index fool ya. Medium is good heat and Hot is a Nashville Superstar begging for some Ranch somewhere. Great flavors, Super portion size and that was just the tenders. +Service...+ Atmosphere and the people inside are just waiting for the right questions.Don't miss this place and give yourself a couple extra minutes before the movie to stop get a Chikn, Burger, Shake or Fries and remember; we all love some heat in the middle of winter.Keep up the Hen House Chikn....we will be seeing ya..

Sooo excited to have a Chikn location in the Robinson area! We tried Chikn previously in Oakland and recalled the spice levels can get a bit extreme so we stuck with a to-go order of chicken and waffles, mild, with banana pudding and a fountain drink, then an order of 5 tenders, southern, with fries and a fountain drink. While the portions were sizable (we probably don't need to order so many tenders next time) and the order done quickly, i had a couple concerns about our to-go order that I provided feedback to the staff regarding a couple of them while there:1- The boxes that the food came in seemed to be folded incorrectly as food was falling out of the bottom of all of them into the plastic bag. The kind staff were great in getting me new containers so my food wasn't swimming at the bottom of a plastic bag. 2- The fountain drink cups were missing for our order as well as 2 other patrons that came in to pick up to-go the same time as me. This can be a problem I assume if ordering through a delivery service where the drinks may be forgotten. 3- The cold banana pudding was put in the box with the hot temperature waffles and chicken so i was able to seperate before traveling home to keep the cold foods cold and hot foods hot. Again a concern if getting delivery services. 4- The drink fountain area was quite sticky.All of the above I assume are due to the new location and figuring some things out. We truly enjoyed the meal, but probably just a couple things to consider. Looking forward to return and again so grateful Chikn is at a nearby location!

I'm convinced that anyone who left a bad review went somewhere else! I stopped by on a busy Friday night and was in and out with my food in less than 10 mins. They have two options for ordering in store: you can self-serve on a touchscreen or you can walk up to the register and place an order with an employee. I went with nuggets ($9.50) and a side of fresh cut fries ($2.50, I think). I waited off to the side for my takeout order to be called and in 3-5 short mins, I was asked by 3 different employees if I had been taken care of. They're quick to greet and were very friendly to me. The decor is surprisingly nice. I loved the plant wall and huge neon signage. despite the pleasant vibe, I took my food to go and was given everything, including plasticware, in a bag. I was surprised that after my 10 min ride home, the chicken was still crispy. The side of sauce they give is creamy and a little spicy. I went with the medium rub on the nuggets and it was definitely hot enough for me. I'd say 6 out of 10. The fries had amazing flavor, but were a little soggy after the ride. Can't wait to try this place when I can dine in!

The best fried Chicken in Pittsburgh. This restaurant should have more than 3 stars. The portions are huge and taste amazing. To top it off the service is bomb!!!!! The owner was very welcoming and went out of his way to see how we like the food. It's hard to find restaurants that have good food and good service.

Pretty standard chicken sandwich place, would definitely go back if in the area... May not head there just for the chicken. It was clean, easy to navigate, & rather busy.

First time trying Chikn. I got the chicken sandwich with hot honey. Figured I'd try the medium so I could get a taste for it and not burn my face off. The chicken was over cooked and so crunchy I thought after the first bite I lost a filling. Not that hot but the spice is all I could taste. I didn't care for the pickles because they didn't seem pickled and I felt like I was eating a cucumber. The crinkle cut fries were cold and way over salted. I had to take a blood pressure pill after only eating a few of them because I could feel a headache starting. I had take out so can't really comment on the ambiance. Probably last visit there.

Food was good, different. Was a crowded Sunday afternoon . Not sure how hot they make it, I played it safe and got mild. Mac & cheese was good. Was too crowded to get a seat, although outside seats were available. good size portions, not sure if I'll go back.

Food is off the chart!! Beware when they say hot, it is hot, they aren't playing. That said I love the medium it's perfect and my wife who doesn't care for spicy gets the southern and loves it! Been here twice and I would say confidently it's the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. I'm holding out that fifth star for better drinks. The tea and the lemonade kind of taste like instant, and the fountain drinks are limited. A place serving chicken sandwiches should have some solid sweet tea and lemonade. However that said, big fan will be back.

Got food 20 minutes after ordering, which isn't bad. Crinkle cut fries were ice cold. Fresh cut fries were ice cold. Both deluxe smash burgers were warm. The bacon on the burgers were undercooked. 3 piece tenders (southern flavor) were ice cold, and so overcooked that they were like jerky. Had high hopes for this place. Ambiance was nice, but everything was sticky, from the table to the soda area. Also need to mention, they were well staffed and we went when it was slow, only 2 other patrons in the restaurant. Younger kinds working there that didn't have the slightest clue about sanitation that would keep touching their AirPods in their ears, then the food, etc.
