A guilty secret, I'm from the area. This past weekend I was back visiting family again and this place is a staple for dining. The best way for me to do this review is to divide it up into three areas: food, atmosphere, and service.Food: Well the food is absolutely delicious that comes out from the Spike Bar. I've probably been here at least 10 times in the last two years and without a doubt, this place is extremely consistent. I usually get a cheeseburger with the gluten-free bun (which is amazing! Best gluten-free hamburger bun I've had--ever!) and a side of coleslaw. The burger is always done properly and it is thick and juicy, never dry. The spices and whatever else goes into that burger make it amazing. (I'll put a picture here.) I usually pair this with a glass of wine. I have no complaints about the selection of house wines by the glass. My sister had the Girly Gulf Fries which are basically a big plate of tasty fries with grilled chicken, green onion leaves, ranch, BBQ, cheese sauce, and who knows what else. She says this is the bomb and she gets it every time. Sadly, they were out of the fruit cup, which, if you have the pleasure is fresh fruit sliced and not canned.Atmosphere: so I generally go here when the weather is warm because I like to sit outside on the concrete decking area that overlooks the golf course and the mountains. (I'll put a picture here of that.) The view is a 10-star view. You can't beat it anywhere for outdoor dining. I will say that the inside of the bar and restaurant does need a little bit of updating but this is not too important to me since I stay outside and that is what I'm basing my review on.Service: this is the roughest part of the experience of dining here. The service is not very good and it's been like that for years. I did hear they recently got a new manager for the restaurant and bar and I am very hopeful that this improves. Sadly, I think the poor service is what keeps this place from being as busy as they should be. The servers are nice enough but often disorganized and sometimes extremely slow at greeting guests and bringing drinks. Some of them are better than others, so if you go try to get Kevin or Bernie. The outdoor dining deck should literally be full when temps are above 70 degrees.

My husband and I went to a concert here once and the venue inside was wow! I mean wow! Very beautiful. They served some light food and refreshments that were great. The service was fantastic. It was a great turn out that night and I didn't hear any complaints. They have a good stage set up and the band that was playing could be heard everywhere with no problems it was truly a fun night ! I can't review on the hotel side of the resort because we live in town so we didn't need to stay there that night. But I haven't heard of any bad complaints. And you'll always see a lot of cars in the lots when driving by I always say that it's a good indicator the place is good there's a restaurant there that has a good burger! Some friends of mine did mention the spa day they went to get their nails done wasn't the greatest experience but not the worst I've personally never been because I keep forgetting they have one so maybe if they still have it they should put out a special spa event once in a while for us ladies to spike more interest and let us know they're there. Since our visit that night the resort has been sold and has new owners now so we really should go some time to see if it what anything has changed.

This is not a private golf club , their burgers are super and very creative at times and they have a nice selection of beers to drink in the patio overlooking the golf course.

Food here was surprisingly good and consistent. Ate about 4-5 times while staying at hotel. Meat cooked perfectly. Actually now I remember the pasta was over cooked including the mac and cheese.

I live close and find this to be the best place to have lunch and dinner... good food .. great staff ... very comfortable and clean resort... if there has ever been something that's not right, speak up and you will be taken care of with care and consideration. I feel this is an overlooked gem if a place.

We dined as part of a large group recently. The sever was so nice, but she was the only server for 40 people plus 2 girls who appeared to be bussing the tables. My husband and I ordered NY Strip with roasted potatoes and vegetables. His meal was the very last to arrive which was probably 20 minutes after the first one of our group was served. Mine and several other meals at our table was cold. Our vegetables were cold, the leftover reheated (if that makes sense) roasted potatoes were cold and my undercooked steak was cold. I took the steak home and made steak and eggs for breakfast the next morning. We didn't complain because we were the guests of someone. It's a shame how bad the food was because years ago I worked there and the food was so good. The building itself is so very tired looking. Needs updated.

The 37 Grille should really be called, "You're trapped in Blairesville, and there's nowhere to go."My server was extremely friendly, but after that, my dining experience was a letdown. The beer list was lame, the"Chippers" were bland, and my meal was "blah".I did avoid driving to find dinner, being that I was staying at the Hampton Inn right there, but I certainly sacrificed quality for that convenience.

Horrible experience. I ordered a $5 draft and the waitress made me think I was crazy because she said they don't have them. (I saw it on the sign outside.) So I bought bottled beer instead, and paid more. When I received my check, I was told they don't accept American Express. No sign, no mention of this. I would not have eaten here if I'd have known. Buyer beware, lousy food & poor service, but the ambience is nice!

The food was terrible. The southwest chicken spring rolls, chicken in the buffalo chicken wrap and French fries all tasted the same...awful. I think they need to change the grease in their deep fryer. There was little to no cheese in the buffalo chicken wrap and it had very little sauce. The server was the best part of the experience.
