CFP Cafe

I discovered this hidden gem I assume known mainly to the workday workers in the Chateau neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Its cafe hours are currently limited to lunch time and only Tuesday-Thursday as Mondays and Fridays are reserved for private events and catering. I'm not sure if you drive there where you'd park your car as there is no street parking out front and limited parking on the nearby streets. There are either stairs or a ramp to get to the main buidling entrance which is also where you'll find the cafe's entrance. I only stumbled upon it when searching for a spot for lunch while bicycling The Three Rivers Heritage Trail. And I am so pleased I did. Lots of healthy options on the menu. Once I placed my order at the counter, I sat at one of the handful of tables near the big windows facing the street and the staff delivered my order to the table. The Vegan burger was incredibly flavorful and filling. I am not vegan but I was looking for something on the lighter side since I would be hitting the Trail again after stopping for lunch.

Visited their food truck when they were at Stick City - fantastic food & friendly service, 100% would recommend. I had the bolognese, just the right ratio of meat to sauce and a good variety of meats, really nice Maillard effects too... and the shrimp vodka was outstanding.

Have seen the CFP truck a few times and have heard some good things about the food. Recently found that they have a cafe nearby and stopped in. Surprised to see breakfast and sammiches on the menu too. Ordered the crab mac attack and was so pleased. Very tasty crab cake and very good mac and cheese that came with a little piece of garlic bread. If you see the truck stop by and give it a try or if you are in the neighborhood stop in the cafe.

I'm a regular! Love their byo breakfast sandwich! I get eggs, veggies, and cheese on sun dried tomato wrap- SO good! That and a latte are my go-to when I don't want to make breakfast

Great customer service, delicious food and baked goods and they have tasty lattes and coffee. Highly recommend stopping at their restaurant or finding where the food stops are at.

Today I ordered the Bolognese from your Food Truck located at US Steel Building and was overjoyed with the taste and flavors of the sauce and the freshness of the pasta. This was a first for me and will not be my last. Well Done and Thank you.Colleen D.
