Centenario Mexican Grille

Walked by at 12:15am, we'll after they usually close, and was warmly greeted by a man named Jimmy with a smile. He was attentive, hospitable, and talked with me while working. I found out that he is the owner/operation of this family business who loves to feed his community alongside his family. The food was great (I got the Fabian burrito - named after his son who is a body builder and suggested a low carb - high protein option), if you're like me, this is an AWESOME healthy yet delicious meal, made with passion by a local business that loves to feed their community. While the food was excellent, the genuine hospitality and down-to-earth care and service Jimmy clearly has a passion for is what brought a smile to my face. Check this place out! Thank you, Jimmy

This place was small but cute! Just a little takeout Mexican. Staff was very friendly! Always a plus ! I got a burrito fajita which came with a a little side salad. Portions were just right ! Enough for dinner and lunch the next day. If your thinking about coming here do it. Great place!

I'm so happy I found this place using while searching for Mexican on Yelp!! Especially since it's only 15 mins away and it's amazing to find such quality Mexican food so close. So I believe it's takeout only. There were two some tables in the entry way but I do believe the are mostly for you to sit while you wait for your food. On to the food. My wife and I ordered the centenario burrito, the California burrito, and queso fundido. When we got home with the food our minds were blown when we opened the containers. The burritos were as big as our heads and there was so so much queso with a large bag of chips. This meal definitely fed us for two meals. Now not only were the portions large the food was oh so yummy. The fundido was so tasty with the perfect amount of chorizo mixed in. We absolutely loved the centenario burrito with the pineapple rice, green salsa, fresh avocado and multiple proteins. The California burrito was also so excellent (just wish there was more pico on the side). Please please try this place over any other local Mexican joint so that we can keep them around.

Authentic & Delicious. I feel like I'm back in Cali when I eat here. Definitely a gem!

Ordered take out. The refried beans are delicious. They have a smoky flavor, maybe have chipotle peppers in them? Ordered some enchiladas, they were delicious. I'll definitely get food from here again.

Went in on a busy friday night with a friend. the cook told us the wait would be about 30 minutes and we said that was fine. we stood and waited and waited just to even get our order taken 20 minutes later the manager or owner came in as we were asking can we at least place our order and got an attitude and was telling us to get out and fuck off because he assumed my friend was a delivery driver but when we explained we were customers he tried to change his tone. rude is not even the word

Great place & awesome food, 10/10 Mexican food, it's actually authentically made unlike 98% of Mexican restaurants in Pittsburgh, they're actually Mexican owned as well and not appropriating the Mexican culture ! Definitely support them if you're going to buy Mexican food

Beautiful food, beautiful service. I got the Burrito Michoacán and it was absolutely amazing. They were quick and very professional. I walked in and ordered and was on my way in less than 15 minutes. I will definitely be back :)

Best Mexican food in the area. It's insane how good their food is! Loved every bit of my tacos. Will definitely go back!

These are the best tacos in Oakland!!! The chicken is fresh and well-seasoned and it's on the same tier with the traditional tacos in DC.No other taco place compares (Mad mex is terrible btw)
