Traveling through with my future brother in-law's bachelor party group and we booked this place to play some golf. 5 golfer and I was just riding along. Before we even got into our carts, we asked if we could all play together instead of splitting up into two groups. We were told enthusiastically, yes. While playing, we did left a few other groups play through as they caught up however, a member of the staff rolled up on his cart and informed us that "we have been getting a lot of complaints" and that "you are going too slow" so we will have to split up. Now, I get it, I don't think any of us would have cared too much if we had to split up but this staff member monologued on, "if you don't split up, I'm going to have to ask you to leave and call the cops."Naturally, threatening to call the cops didn't sit well with me or the rest of my group. This, though the most shocking revelation we had to deal with, the pro-shop attendent had about the same enthusiasm as a Walmart self checkout and the snack bar was grossly understaffed. The poor girl working there was just swamped and no one was able to help her. I don't have anything bad to say about her, she just simply couldn't keep up.The course was alright, but the staff here is just miserable and having the threat of the cops being called on us is just the cherry on top.

This is really a great pair of golf courses. I play both the Red and Gold Courses at least 5 times a year and have to say, other than the beginning of the year pock marks on the greens, the course is kept in decent shape. The courses are well kept and are quite manageable for the average/novice golfer. There are limited water hazards and mostly open spaces with trees lining the fairways. The 19th Hole is a great place to grab a bite and a drink after, nothing too crazy, but manageable to eat. The Pro Shop is decent and not too badly priced for balls, gloves, etc.

Went today w my son, he is beginning and was first time for him w cart. Played the gold 18, $35 w cart per. Overall the course was ok, spots of burning out fairways was not uncommon, did not effect many shots..greens are fair, tons of ball marks all over fresh and recovering, i guess no one fixes ball marks out here. Constant hum of route 70 on the entire 18 holes. Cart was clean and course could have used someone to empty the trash cans out on the course, it was Sunday and several were overflowing w trash. Play was good, finished in about 3:30. Not sure i would rush out there again this year but wouldn't have any qualms if i were asked to go out again.

This is really a great pair of golf courses. The courses are well kept and are quite manageable for the average/novice golfer. There are limited water hazards and mostly open spaces (albeit tree lined) where you can find most golf balls if your slice or hook is winning the round. The "19th hole" is well stocked and offers some surprisingly delicious fare with some really good sandwiches and snacks. This is a terrific place to play a round with friends or business colleagues as it's easily one of the best values for golf in the surrounding Pittsburgh area.

This is a great course. Two different courses all kept well. I've played an outing that a friend organized and they were really accommodating especially to women (unfortunately the usual on golf course.) Played other days as well...they offer leagues, but I have just folded with a few others. Reasonable in season prices and the offer a fall rate for $25! Awesome deal especially when SW PA has warm fall days. The food here is great, too. I've had the club, cheese steak and greek salad. All were good. Fair prices and cold beer. Definitely a good place to golf or to stop to grab something to eat.

It does not appear that there have been any reviews since the new ownership so I feel this review is worth the time. I have played this course for over 20 years and it is, by far, in the worst condition I have ever seen!!! The bar and restaurant staff were wonderful but the pro shop staff not so friendly. The course itself was in horrible shape!!! There are plenty of well kept courses with wonderful staff in the area that are worth $40. Seek them out!!!

The two courses here are both fun and challenging. Overall the courses have been in great shape and the gps on carts are awesome. The price is very reasonable for the course you get. Some spots the cart paths need work, but it looks like they are working on replacing them as well. Go here you wont be disapointed.

Used to be one of our favorite places. Definitely not as clean as it used to be. Our table was sticky and we asked the waitress to wipe it down. She seriously sprayed cleaner on it while we were sitting there. And yes it sprayed us. No apologies. Used the bathroom on the way out. One word. Disgusting. Can't believe I ever told friends to come here. Won't be back.

My brother and I played here a couple of weeks ago. We won't be back. We experienced several issues which I will explain. Both guys in the pro shop had zero personal skills and were huge jerks. We had not played here before so we did not know where the first hole for the gold course was (there are two courses) so we drove around for 10 minutes trying to find it. While driving around we got yelled at by the cart tenant and then got yelled at by the starter for being late. We would have been on time had anyone given us some direction. So basically every worker we encountered had no customer service skills. They seemed arrogant. Arrogant over what I'm not sure because the course was garbage. Tee boxes were in terrible shape and the fairways had holes and other issues. My brother and I have played a lot of courses in southwestern, pa. With the terrible conditions and terrible people this one was by far the worst. Play anywhere else but here.

We called to make reservations, for Satuday at 11:36 AM on the red course and they said it will only be $25/person (cart included). When we showed up, they didn't have our reservation, the red course was closed, and it was $40/person. Okay... We dealt with it and golfed 18 on the golf course. The course was pretty beat up but it was average. After we went in to have a drink and the bartender came over and said "what do you want?". No, small talk, no hello- totally rude. She never offered us popcorn or told us what was on tap and at the end of her shift said "I'm leaving now" (in other words, where is my tip?") we slid her generous tip her way and she picked it up and did an about face- no thank you. There are too many golf courses out there with great customer service. I wouldn't waste my time or money here again. And of the owner responds "please call our management... " no, that won't happen either. I don't care about returning here, not worth it. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!
