Carroll County Airport Restaurant

Casual little place at the airport in an old house. Food is average and worth the stop if you are in the area. Fish had good flavor the bottom was just completely soggy. Fries were crispy and tasty but the Mac and cheese left a little to be desired.

The food is pure comfort food. It is always consistent. The service is good. The waitresses are always friendly and willing to bring you everything that you need, but it isn't always a place where you can stop in for a quick meal. It's always great when you can sit and have a meal while watching the planes take off. The best part of this restaurant has to be the homemade pies. If you try this restaurant for one thing, go for the pies!

Excellent fly in diner. I guess you can drive there too. I've flown in a few times. Plenty of ramp space to park your plane. Good airport views from any seat, staff is fast and friendly, food is good and a great value.

Quality food every time. Hot, fresh and tasty. Service is very efficient. Prices are very competitive, would be comparable to McDonald's or even cheaper with much better quality food. Fun to watch the aircraft's. If I had one sentence to sum it up;Small, quaint, quality cuisine with productive staff... Shout out to the chef who doesn't get nearly the amount of recognition he or she deserves!

If you are into diner-type restaurant, this is for you. Very old-timer setting, located right at the airport, family atmosphere. Nothing fancy on the menu, very basics but done well amd from scratch. Definitely try the pies, they are really good and made from scratch!

Came here while we were in town for a wedding. Portions are enormous and inexpensive. Service was very friendly!

I will admit the 5 stars is for the Butterscotch Pie if nothing else. I was recommend to eat here off of an Instagram post where I mentioned how good the pie was a Urbana airport cafe. Well I wish this place was closer to me.The coffee is okay at best, it wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great. My meal was very good at least 4 stars for the German fried potatoes.But hands down some of the best pie I have eaten.Come for the pie. Or to watch airplanes land, or for the pie.I didn't go into the bathrooms so can't say how clean they were, but I will say the staff here is very friendly and the service is very good. I would gladly come back here again to eat. Or just to get Pie...

Great food - the fish and fresh cut fries are delicious. The service is always excellent.

This place is hit or miss. We live far away and will sometimes take the drive out there to eat. We've eaten there numerous times over the years. Sometimes the service is excellent and deserves 5 stars, other times only 1 star. It's a roll of the dice really. For example, we were just there last week. As soon as we sat down, I could hear the people at the table behind me complaining about not getting their cornbread. There was also another couple seated. We ordered from the breakfast menu. Then waited 30 minutes or more for our food. When it was finally brought out, the eggs were undercooked (I asked for medium-well), and they forgot the bacon altogether. So we had to wait even longer for them to cook my eggs longer and put the bacon on that they completely forgot about. The couple seated next to us still hadn't gotten their food. They had to wait even longer than we did - about an hour. I don't know if maybe they got a new cook. Like I said, it really is a roll of the dice here. The food is generally good overall, coffee is always good, the atmosphere is that of a typical mom and pop restaurant, and I enjoy watching the planes take off, however the quality of service has been inconsistent. Also, the prices on a slice of pie have gone up considerably, so we no longer order it.

Food is always great and Lisa does her best to hire friendly and great staff. Always quick to fix any problems.
