Cannella Cafe

My husband and I ate at the newer location in Shelocta. Which the newer building is def more spacious. The decor is cute and the booths were so cozy! Our server was polite and attentive. Food came out hot (which is one the top reasons we love Crouse's Cafe, our food has NEVER came out cold!) I ordered the new Greek omelet, which was pretty good. & we both had the pecan pumpkin pancakes, which were tasty! My husband got his usual, the fried steak breakfast. Which was good, he said they have changed the breading recipe though, as it did not taste the same as he remembered. But still good! Flavored coffees were offered and we tried them. Very, very sweet. Too sweet for us, should have stuck with plain coffee. Crouse's is our favorite breakfast place in the area. We have never been disappointed here, and the service is great. If you haven't been yet, make a plan to go! You won't regret it.

WHATEVER YOU DO YOU MUST ORDER THE CINNAMON ROLL PANCAKES. Crouse's is operating under a different name now but the cinnamon roll pancakes are still on the menu and they need to be in your belly. Because I am not yet diabetic I also ordered and thoroughly enjoyed the coconut cookie latte. I live 5.5 hours from this place and I'm already looking forward to making that hellish drive again just so I can have both again ... and maybe the banana bread French toast (they were out the day I was there).

Amazing food! Get their banana pecan pancakes, you won't regret it The cinnamon pancakes are also amazing 10/10

Very friendly place, wait staff was quick and attentive. I had the Cafe Mess which consisted of eggs, home fries and sausage fried together and topped with sausage gravy. This came in a bowl and there was plenty of it and filled me up.

The wait staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The food was amazing, best Buffalo chicken sandwich I've had.

The food was excellent, prices were fair and the waitstaff were very friendly. The only reason not 5 star is because the espresso machine was down as well as their credit card machine.

Good food, fast friendly service. I had a very nice western omelet, my wife was impressed with the French toast.

Food was good, staff was nice, environment wasn't too bad. Got the banana bread French toast and was amazed. Hadn't heard of something like that. Pretty good all around.
