Cafe Raymond was the perfect spot to wrap up our trip. I had an omelet loaded with bacon, spinach, cheese, and sausage, and it was fantastic--rich, flavorful, and cooked just right. The pancakes were a unique highlight, made with ricotta cheese. They were amazing fresh, but they don't reheat quite the same--so definitely enjoy them on the spot! The vibe of the cafe was cozy, and everyone in our group left happy with their meals. It was a solid end to a trip filled with great food, and Cafe Raymond definitely didn't disappoint. The staff was friendly and even engage in some funny banter around the Raven vs Steeler game going on LOL. If you're in Pittsburgh, it's worth stopping by for a hearty breakfast and excellent service.

I have been to Cafe Raymond several times with no issues at all except the price. I returned Saturday for breakfast and was very disappointed. First, I asked for decaf coffee and was told they only have black coffee! I then ordered a veggie omelet and asked for cheese to be added. I was served a plain cheese omelet. When I asked, they said I would have had to specify what veggies I wanted. The menu clearly has a veggie omelet as an item with the veggies listed that were in it. I also asked if it came with potatoes and was then given 2 servings that I was charged for. All of this for $30!To add to the experience, when we entered, there was a sign that said to ask about our homemade soups..... we did and were told they don't have any soup! It will take a lot for me to go back. The cost is certainly not worth the risk.

This place is hyped up tremendously and everyone who has told me to go has been for the same thing. The blueberry ricotta pancakes alone. They are the best blueberry pancakes I've ever had. Now the filling of them could be more but when you do get the filling you'll be rocked. They make their own syrup and it was awesome. You can buy that but the bottleThe brisket hash which I didn't plan on getting was a pleasant surprise. Not super dry and the bbq sauce on it was a great sweet to savory comboIt's always packed but our waitress made sure we were looked after. A bunch of people were getting sandwiches and I saw a few burgers on the line that looked GNARLY. Will be going back for that (and a side of the pancakes)

Those pancakes are legit and I appreciated the healthy options too. Server was very polite and the wait wasn't long, even on a Saturday morning.

Oh man... I hate leaving bad reviews and this place so many great ones I don't know what went wrong?! Bad day maybe? First, I will say that our server was very nice. He definitely forgot part of our order but made up for it and super friendly. We ordered some peach Bellini's and they were very horrible. Tasted like I was drinking straight up Peach Torani coffee syrup. And I ordered a club sandwich... how does that go wrong? To start, the bread was extremely doughy so my mouth was just filled with sticky bread with every bite. Thank goodness I carry crack cleaners in my bag so I could get it all out of my teeth, lol. Beyond the bread... the turkey was just super processed tasting and gelatinous and I don't know... the textures were too much for me and unfortunately I could not eat it. So... left hungry and again... bad day? I probably won't be back to find out :-|

Portabella Mushroom Melt and Farmhouse Burger. We stopped in after the Vintage Grand Prix. First time for us. Not crazy about the order and hope to find a seat but I have to say the food was fabulous! And the side of fried potatoes were reminiscent of my grandmother's!Highly recommend both sandwiches and bring your appetite!

My friend & I dined in this morning for breakfast. We both ordered Guy's Breakfast which was really good, a large portion too! It comes with eggs (your style), meat, potatoes and one of their almost famous Blueberry Ricotta pancakes. You order at the counter and then they bring you out your food. We both ordered waters which we discovered is self-serve (would have been nice if they told us to help ourselves). I would give it 4.5 stars due to that if I could but other than that it great. The breakfast was $16. The atmosphere is casual with several small tables.

Came here with a large group for brunch yesterday and we had a great time! I really enjoyed the house smoked salmon sandwich. The cocktail carafes they offer are also a great deal! My friend and I split an aperol spritz carafe. Our server was so friendly and took amazing care of us. I will definitely be back!

I was looking for a Breakfast sandwich ... and I found it!During my brief visit to Pittsburgh, I took a short walk from my hotel to the Strip District looking for a breakfast sandwich. I came upon this place and saw one on the menu. I proceeded to order, take a seat , and very quickly it was brought to me. This version was on a croissant ... which was quite fresh. And it came with a side of "crispy potatoes" which were OK.All in all, a really good experience. Looking forward to return.
