Cafe Moulin is a charming little creperie that delivers on both quality and value. I tried the Alaska crepe, and I was pleasantly surprised by how generous they were with the smoked salmon--definitely not one of those places that skimps on the good stuff. The balance of flavors was great, and the crepe itself was light and well-made.Service was impressively fast, making it a great option if you're looking for a quick but satisfying meal. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of ingredients. I also had my eye on the Turkish sausage omelet, which looked absolutely delicious--definitely on my list for next time. Whether you're in the mood for sweet or savory, this spot is worth a visit!

Brunch Review!Overall (Solid 4/5): Cafe Moulin is known for their Crepes and it shows. The Crepe quality is definitely pretty good even compared to the ones in NYC, however, the filling and the flavors inside have some work. The inside really feels like a mix of a cafe and a diner, it is quaint and not bad for a quick bite to eat. It gets busy but not too bad as they have a decent amount of seats inside. If you need a quick bite or craving crepes, they have a wide array of sweet and savory!Food (4/5): I highly recommend the Sofia over the Bristol. It was balanced and you can taste a wide array of flavors! Definitely a solid savory crepe. Bristol was okay, if you LOVE turkey then it's great but it felt like it was missing something. Service (3.5/5): It isn't a restaurant, so I'm not rating it too harshly. They operate similarly to a diner. They were fast and courteous. It was not bad.

Super cute little place with murals on the walls. Food was quite average though. Coffee was fine. A bit bland.

Came here on two separate occasions as a traveler and enjoyed the savory crepes both times. I especially enjoyed the Alaskan crepe, with smoked salmon on top. I got fruit on the side the first time and the greens the second time. The shady side area is so lucky to have a spot like this. Service is quick and welcoming and the spot itself is charming with close proximity to other shops.

If you have a sweet tooth and don't mind the calories, then Cafe Moulin's sweet crepes are for you! I could get any crepe flavor made with the vegan batter. Not as big of a fan of the Tivoli Savory Crepe. Perhaps because the vegan crepe isn't covered with toppings like in the sweet crepe which kind of masks the vegan crepe flavor/texture. As shown, I've come multiple times and satisfied that sweet tooth. I think my favorite was the Super Belgium because of that cookie spread! Impressed by the service as they're always prompt! Lovely inside and ambiance. Also it's located in a prime area in Shadyside, so you can have a brunch there while you browse and shop around Walnut St.

This was the best French toast I've ever had. Such an easy, yummy breakfast experience. Sat at the bar and enjoyed the quick service! The latte I had was decent. Will go again.

The food was decent, but Yelpers may not appreciate that the 10% discount that pops up when you check in, as it did today when we stopped in, will not be honored. If they can't be bothered to honor something that was surely approved by the business, then they don't need my money.

As gorgeous as this picture is, the food was so subpar. I had high expectations for this place after hearing their crêpes are great, but it was so average. I wouldn't say bad which is why I'm giving it three stars but i definitely would not go out of my way to recommend this place to anyone. The sweet crêpe was definitely the best but I feel like literally any place that makes crêpes can do that because it's literally just Nutella and fresh fruit. I got the novi omelette crêpe which has "100% beef" in it, and it tasted like a hamburger patty chopped up. The sauce on top of it was good though. I wouldn't go again.

Food was great! Their alaska crepe was really good! My friends all liked their dishes. Service was ok, the place is small so might be inconvenient for big groups. We had a group of 7 and we had to break into two separate tables. Make sure you book a reservation beforehand to avoid inconveniences. Food was delicious though.

Cafe Moulin was fantastic! I highly recommend arriving early, as it gets quite busy later in the day. The Liege Toast is a must-try, offering the perfect balance of savory and sweet. We also split one of their crepes, and it was just as impressive! The staff were also super friendly and accommodated. We had a party of 6 plus our dog for outdoor seating!!
