We are DEVASTATED that they're getting rid of Sunday brunch because it was the best dang brunch this city has to offer. We got the chicken and biscuits, breakfast bowl, and French toast. The chorizo gravy for the biscuits and bowl was phenomenal and we hope to replicate it at home. The French toast was light and fluffy, plus the syrup and fruit compote were top notch. The speakeasy vibe is everywhere you look in the room. We were impressed that even the restrooms kept up with the theme. Our server, Ian, was GREAT. Not only did he make sure we were taken care of, he gave great recommendations for food and beverage options. I also watched as he gave the same level of service for the rest of his tables, plus the other patrons in the restaurant. He deserves the highest of accolades. We look forward to going back for lunch and dinner! (But please offer brunch still because I'm so sad.)

Got a reservation here for New Years Eve and was so excited! They were upfront about offering a limited menu when I made the reservation but they still had plenty of options to choose from! And this really helped their service to run quickly and smoothly! They had the space decorated beautifully for the holidays, it feels like you're in a cave, but a really warm and cozy cave if that makes sense. For starters, we ordered the beef Wellington eggrolls. I really was excited to try these, I thought it was a really unique menu item. They were VERY good, but a little dry and we were scraping the plate for aioli. We ended up asking for more on the side to dip and it made all the difference. I enjoyed a couple Arsenal Snowbound Cinnamon ciders, one of my favorites! I adore anyplace that keeps Arsenal cider on hand, especially the seasonal varieties! My entree came with a salad and option to upgrade to a Caesar which I opted for! This Caesar was excellent! Perfectly dressed with real parm shavings! The star of the night was the chicken Marsala. Served on a bed of mashed potatoes and green beans. This is one of the best Marsalas I've had. They added golden raisins to the sauce, which sounds crazy, but it works. It works really really well. I cleaned my plate. The chicken was tender and there was a generous amount of mushrooms in the sauce as well. I can't wait to return and try more of their menu items!

Exploring Cadence+ Cellars Speakeasy during Restaurant Week was an absolute delight. Tucked away in the heart of The Strip, this spot perfectly blends vintage charm with modern sophistication. The intimate, Prohibition-era setting sets the stage for a dining experience that's both cozy & refined. We kicked things off with the Dragons End, a visually stunning mix of tequila, vodka, dragonfruit, yuzu lychee, & black sea salt, served aflame tableside. The Millionaire's Row and Pandora's Box followed, each bursting with vibrant, fresh flavors that elevated our evening. The food? Simply exceptional. We started with the Beef Wellington Eggrolls, crispy on the outside with a rich, savory filling. The Sweet & Spicy Chicken Sliders & Crispy Calamari were equally impressive, each bite a perfect harmony of flavors. The charred lemon aioli that came with the calamari was worth the visit alone. But the real stars to me, of course, were the Filet and Ribeye--both expertly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The ribeye's sauce fayot was a revelation, something I could happily slather on everything for the rest of my life. Cadence+ Cellars Speakeasy exceeded all expectations. From the thoughtfully crafted cocktails to the melt-in-your-mouth steaks, every detail was spot on. This might just be my new favorite in Pittsburgh. #GOUDapproved

Stopped for lunch on a Friday at noon and we were the only customers in the place. I don't know why because the atmosphere was exceptional. It looked like it was recently renovated with an industrial vibe. We ordered appetizers, meatballs with ricotta ,excellent. A charcuterie board which was good along with homemade chips with onion dip. The bartender was talkative and I enjoyed our conversation. The menu was a bit limited but it wouldn't stop me from visiting again.

I checked out the new fall menu and yummm. We got the braised short rib and the filet. The short rib the meat fell apart and was so good. The filet was cooked perfectly and had amazing flavor. We all tried all of the appetizers and my favorites were the beef Wellington egg roll, meatballs and fries. The staff was great, so nice and helpful. The history of the place is really cool and I love the bar.

Went there last night to have a few cocktails and to watch the last half of the Steelers Game. They have a cocktail menu that changes seasonally. I'm never disappointed when I get a drink there. The presentation is beautiful. service was fast and the waiter was knowledgeable. If you're looking for a late night drink spot this is it.

Cadence at the strip has GOT to be your next stop for stunner cocktails, elevated entrees & speakeasy vibes. The mushroom risotto was excellent & our cocktails were ELITE in taste &presentation. If you're a whiskey person, their lengthy list including 50+ bourbons speaks to my soul. This spot is also great for events like rehearsal dinners, birthdays & more with their several private spaces. Their catering menu is equally as divine.

We stumbled upon this gem as we live 2 blocks from it. Definitely a nice date night spot. The basement feel and the cozy atmosphere here is great! The flights we had were awesome! Def recommend it if you love some strong whiskey! The old forester one was my favorite! We haven't eaten anything here other than fries, so def will be back again for some food. I've been here multiple times for the whiskey flights!

Came with a large group (14+) on a Friday evening. We had reaervstions and were sat immediately. The staff were friendly, but the service was definitely on the slower side. It took about 3 hours to get us in and out for dinner. All of the drinks were delicious, as was the food. Several of us ordered the mussels and the white wine sauce was super flavorful and had huge chunks of bacon. You could tell the cocktails were thoughtfully crafted and many came with a fun garnish. The ambiance is warm and inviting with dim lighting and prohibition era decor.

My partner and I were on the Strip and wanted brunch and were lucky enough to stumble on this restaurant. Being a "speakeasy" it's definitely a really cute space. The service and ambience were excellent. We both really enjoyed our meals. I had the Farmer's Breakfast (gravy on the side) and my partner had the Fried Chicken and Biscuits and we both really enjoyed everything. We would definitely go back and would love to check our dinner sometime too.
