"In town on business and was close to hotel. There's a reason it doesn't get 4 stars. Mediocre food and service. Opt for another option for the price."
"This is a good spot to meet up with friends, serve as a jump off for date night or just to chill. Since the bar is located in the Fairmont lobby, there are multiple seating options away from the bar as well. There is a wide variety of wines and craft cocktails made with fresh ingredients. Since this was the first stop of the evening and I was hangry, I loved that they provided complimentary popcorn and pork rinds. Score! The service here is great and if you can't decide, they ask questions to help steer you towards a great decision. Side conversation with the bartenders was great as well...they were so friendly! The blackberry sour I had was fresh and fruity with the pop of muddled blackberries on the bottom and a hint of peach. This was a great 1st experience and I'm looking forward to visiting again."

"What an all around great restaurant. Good wine list & nice staff. The deep fried cauliflower app was perfect...light and crunchy, not greasy at all. The bacon jam tarts w/ goat cheese were delicious and the charcuterie board was out of this world. It was heavenly, definitely enough for two people to share for dinner w/ a salad. Their pizzas are great, my son had the potato w/ arugula and my daughter had a plain cheese, both loved theirs. The steaks....wow. My husband had the filet with bleu cheese mashed potatoes, he commented all through the meal how flavorful the steak was. Also highly recommend the ribeye, its sauce was to die for. I honestly can't wait to dine there again..."
"This place was highly recommended Nestled on a face cliff roadside this restaurant is easy to miss and parking can be quite intimidating. I'm not a local so not sure how busy the road can get put a newbie like me might have to make a u-turn. We came on a Wednesday night it wasn't too busy we found parking right away and after taking in grandmas quaint little porch and walking through the front door we was greeted by the bar and a hostess came out and seated us immediately. There was outside seating but we sat inside taking in all the wonderful wine and whiskey the house has to offer. The special was grilled chicken farrafelle (spelled like how I said it lol) and zucchini fries which I ordered. Their food menu is limited to maybe two pages and the restaurant of the book was dedicated to wine. I ordered the bouquet flight and a glass of the one I liked the most. Our food was delicious that all I can say and the zfries had the best crunch and squishy ratio than any I've ever tried."
"Brewlounge is AWESOME. Simply awesome.Great drinks. Super friendly staff. Indoor bar, dining + overstuffed chair & couch sitting areas. Well managed. We absolutely loved it.THEY ALSO HAVE an outdoor cigar smoking enclosure with heaters and ventilation fans. It has comfy patio furniture with cushions, and the temperature stays reasonably lukewarm even when it was snowing outside (it was). They have a good wine selection, a few nice ports, and some good cigars.I'm told the best thing is the monthly whisky + cigar event. Unfortunately, we weren't in town for it, but I'm told it's awesome.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED...!!!"
"Great venue to turn to for a wide variety of entertainment, and events. Beautiful interior. Staff members are helpful, professional and upbeat. Their set-up easily accommodates large groups or single guests. I recommend signing up for their newsletter since most shows sell out fast if you do not have advanced notice. I prefer balcony seating because the lower main floor has limited mobility. I feel bad for the servers trying to get to each guest. Also keep in mind you end up sharing tables with strangers since they try to fill each table seat vs the bar-like arrangement in the balcony. Street parking and garage parking is conveniently located next to the winery."
"Perfect date night location. The best high end cuisine in the city of Canton and frankly you have to go north of Akron to find anything that even compares with the dishes that are coming out of this quaint basement establishment. The owners work the bar and kitchen, they are some of the nicest people in the food industry. (Husband and wife)"
"Such a nice little spot for wine & cocktails! My friend and I stopped by on a Saturday evening and we were seated immediately. I tried the giggle water cocktail, which had gin, lemon, pear, cardamom, and prosecco. I really enjoyed it and found it to be the perfect balance of sweet and bubbly. They also serve food and some desserts but we did not try them this time. Pro tip: there are also a few parking spots across the street in a small lot reserved specifically for customers of allegheny wine mixer if you are having trouble finding parking on butler street. Overall a great spot for drinks in Lawrenceville!"
"Wine tasting dinner last night. 2/2/25WowGreat pairing of wine and food. From soup to dessert food was excellent. Very interesting flavors from the wines. We enjoyed it."
"Laid back atmosphere with a variety of beers on tap. The owner is kind and there's always different events happening here, like trivia night and tastings. No food but you can order in from the surrounding restaurants!"
"The restaurant has just opened this past week. We had been looking forward to it as we love good Asian cuisine. The place is pretty spartan, but appears to be moving in the right direction with regard to ambiance. It's bright inside, there are a few dine-in tables. It was clean, and well maintained. The staff were very responsive to questions about their offerings, they seem very friendly and polite. The food was pretty good. We had the sashimi sampler, which had white tail, tuna and salmon, fresh and delicious. The shrimp shumai were tasty but tiny. We also loved the chicken udon noodles. It was made with bok choy, cloud ear mushrooms, and strips of steamed chicken breast. (Most places just toss in broccoli and carrots, so it was a nice difference.) The sweet potato roll was excellent. It was crispy and sweet. Try it with the owners secret wasabi mayo (he makes it himself), it's a very nice flavor contrast. The city roll was also nice. I would have liked it to have been more aggressively spicy, but it was still very tasty. We will be back for the Bento lunch specials. (We will definitely provide an update. They sound promising.). Two people, two appetizers, two rolls, an additional entree and two sodas, with tax and tip were just under $50. Very affordable for a night out. It would have helped the ambiance to have had some Asian music playing, and maybe some softer lighting. But this is a new establishment, and the quality of the food and friendliness of the staff tells me they will have a lot of opportunities to grow and improve. We really like having a sushi/fusion restaurant so close to home! So, keep up the good work!!"

Friends and I reserved a table after an outing landing us there around 8:30pm in a Saturday night. The restaurant looked very elegant but not too stuffy, beautiful setup. We were seated upon arrival and was instantly greeted by our server Matt who made for a wonderful experience. He was friendly and personable while mainting a professional attitude with his extensive knowledge of the menu, both food and wines ! The lobster risotto , prosciutto plate , and filet mignon were phenomenal ! Unfortunetly the filet and strip steak came out way over the tempeture we asked for , but our server noticed it instantly and accommodated us with no hesitation. We left with full and completely satisfied . We will be back! Highly recommend !

I finally decided to spurge before theater and try out one of the wines at Andy's. When I arrived the place was packed with people and I was listening to a DJ playing jazz music nearby. Since there was no seating at the bar area I asked one of the waitresses where I should go. She told me to have a seat anywhere and they would find me.I settled into a high back chair that had a nice view of the outside passersby. She came over to me and I asked to try one of their sweet wines. She recommended their Italian moscata for me so I chose that. I got it fairly quickly and sipped it slowly to enjoy its full flavor. It was indeed a very good wine! My glass came to $14.00 but this is the Fairmont hotel so naturally I expected to pay more. The places as I had said was very noisy and it was a great place to kill some time before the show. I couldn't enter from the side of the bar so I had to use the main entrance. As you come in there is a welcome fireplace. I learned that this bar is named for Andy Warhol as it was noted on my coaster. I wasn't hungry so I didn't order any light bites. i will return when the occasion warrants it.

This place is under rated. Never super crowded bc ppl don't think of it. It's off the beaten path. Both times I was here everything was amazing. Bar bites hand cut fries are a must & the sangria.

Nice enough place. Really dull menu. Spaghetti and meatballs is really just a baby step above dive bar food. I really want to like this place but there's just nothing interesting to eat. And seriously...small plates? That was an interesting concept 20 years ago.

Friendly, upbeat, cozy atmosphere where they serve beer, wine and spirits. Knowledgeable staff with timely service. A very chill vibe with plenty of parking. They brew their own beer and also have other local beers available. Lots of variety. Definitely a great addition to Columbiana and look forward to many more visits.Free WiFi too! They also have a cooling system that will cool your beer to 32.5 degrees in 3 minutes!

Very nice place when they're adequately staffed. Food, entertainment, and ambiance are always great. The waitstaff is very nice, but sometimes they are understaffed and you don't see your designated waitstaff for a long time. Decent quality food and the wine is nice as well.Always a good time!

Incredibly kind owner & staff. Knowledgeable, always offering great suggestions for specific needs. Very well decorated for different holidays and a great space for small gatherings. Feel grateful to have a locally owned space so close!

Amazing drinks, food, and service! We will definitely be back- my hubby and I shared some small plates and apps. We enjoyed everything- scallops melt in your mouth, fighting over the last crab cake, and salivating over curry filet crostini... Would definitely recommend this spot, don't think twice!

"Very nice restaurant with excellent service! The menu has sandwiches, steak, seafood and pasta all cooked perfectly. Rustic and clean restaurant and the servers are very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back for more!"
"Excellent place for lunch and dinner! Their ribeye burger might be THE BEST I've had in the entire area. Smokey, rich beef flavor and just the right size for lunch. Also, their breaded citrusy cod bites with garlic aioli are fantastic! #yumFinally, their French onion soup is delicious and tops off a great lunch in a warm, inviting atmosphere ~ lounge style seating around the bar. Dessert: Tiramisu!A great place to indulge in a drink, or two and enjoy a hot and hearty delicious meal!"
"The food was excellent. I had the Frisse salad with an egg on top and it was so good. I had the sausage cavatelli - the sauce was delicious. I tried my friend's gnocchi and they were very good as well. Another friend had the manicotti and kept saying it was the best she's ever had, it 'melted in her mouth'. She didn't share LOL. The chef came out to meet us and he was very nice. Also, they have a brief, but creative mocktail list. I don't recall the name of mine, but it had Spirit 'Tequila' and it was lovely."
"Came here on our first night (ever) in Pittsburgh and what a great way to be introduced to the city. Though it is a place that takes food seriously, they didn't take themselves so seriously as to be stuffy and unwelcoming. We appreciated the friendly yet professional vibe. We had a good sampling of the menu, from snacks, the shared plates, entrees and even desserts and we loved their creative interpretations of classic dishes. The cocktails were also both unique and delicious--you usually have to sacrifice one for the other, but not so here. Everything was on point from start to finish. We're just visiting, but we will most definitely return when we're back in town. It was also our son's 19th birthday and Vandal made it a most memorable night."
""Where friends meet" is a very appropriate tagline for this comfortable and bustling little nook right in the heart of Washington, PA. My family and I love coming here and frequently check their Facebook page which is reliably updated on a weekly basis with specials. These are always worth checking out and there is a wide variety of offerings. Hot tip : if it's crab cakes, get them early because they will sell out. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu, and there's something for everyone. My personal recommendation is make room for the wedding soup, it's the best! Reservations recommended on a Friday or Saturday night because all the friends will be meeting here!"
"Essence was my server and she was phenomenal! My glass never went empty! She was extremely attentive! The ambiance is nice would be a lovely date night location!!The food is everything I hoped for and more! The bread comes to the table nice and warm. The fresh wedge of butter tastes fresh like they are making it in the back.I ordered the Chicken piccata and It was very authentic!!From the delicious sauce to the perfect mushroom and artichokes!! The chicken was so tender I didn't need my knife!!Will I be back! Yes this is hands down the best Italian restaurant in town. Very impressed"
"Lovely place. The vibe is so nice. Cozy and inviting. I started off with the empanadas and they were delicious. Crispy and full of flavor. I had the tartare and puré de papas as my entree. The steak tartare was beautifully seasoned and a perfect portion. The papas were creamy and delectable. I enjoyed the Pisco 75 during my dinner, so refreshing. I ended my night with the flan with Fernet Branca and caramel and one of the best restaurant espresso martinis"
"This spot has been open now for about 4 months and I cannot believe I haven't been here sooner. I had just mentioned to friends that Pittsburgh needed an new fresh cocktail bar. And it looks like I got my wish. Bar manager, Caty, has done a fantastic job creating a delicious cocktail menu with both unique and classic cocktails that are expertly crafted. The vibe is up there with some of the best speakeasy's in the city. Of over 200 unique Negroni variations created for this years annual Negroni week, their Negroni Wash was one of the highlights of the week. I look forward to making this one of my regular spots."
"Gabby and Sydney were beyond amazing. We had the best time with them. Gave us great recommendations to check out and places to see. Hands down best bartenders in the area, glad I got to know them. Place has a super cool vibe with great music giving total relaxing vibes. Lowly light with a funky style with a palmy like feel. Great hotel highly recommend.... will be back"
"Market Street Grocery is located right in Market Square around the corner from the Simple Greek. I used to visit the wine bar in the back often before the pandemic. They served Collefrisio wines and had great cheese plates. My friends and I would go for their happy hour for half priced glasses of Riserva wine. It was a very laid back atmosphere. I don't think the wine bar has reopened, but I visited recently for a coffee. De Fer Coffee & Tea is now the coffee provider inside the grocery store. I guess I haven't been there for a while, because there were a lot of changes! The macaron stand isn't there any more, and they have seats instead. I was so glad that I took my laptop with me, because once I saw the seats I decided to stay and work. While sipping on my oat milk latte, I watched all the Downtown work people come and go ordering custom sandwiches and hot foods for lunch. They have a good selection of food and the prices are reasonable. I remember one time ordering salmon, veggies, and something else and it was only about $10-$12. They served it to you on a plate, and I ate it in the wine bar. I didn't eat anything on this most recent trip, but I enjoyed my latte from De Fer. I'm glad to know they have seats now because I definitely plan to eat/work there more often. They also have a restroom downstairs that is kept clean."
"I've gone to this winery a couple times and have had a nice experience. The summertime outdoor music was an enjoyable and relaxing way to spend a weekend afternoon. The paint on the old building might be peeling so just be careful what you touch.Whether you choose to go for a bottle of wine or a can of seltzer, they have enough different tastes to suit most connoisseurs."
"Great food and excellent service. Huge glasses of wine, and don't skip dessert. The stuffed banana peppers were great but a bit spicy. The homemade tortellini were like little purses of ricotta. Got it with vodka sauce 10/10 recommend but save room fir amazing lemon cake!"
"I've been here a couple times, and loved it every time. Had pizza once, and pasta a couple times. Everything that comes out of the kitchen looks fantastic. It is a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.."
"There are very few places I go, where I'm almost 100% confident my meal will be out of this world. 63 Corks is one of those places. Just visited for a fifth or sixth time, and decided to finally crank out a review. Stopped in on a Saturday night, and the place was hopping. Was there for my birthday, so they seated us at the Chef's table when they found out. Didn't request it, so getting it was a really nice surprise! For starters we did a glass of cab (9/10), and one of their house whiskey cocktails with Buffalo Trace, an apple slice, cinnamon stick, simple syrup and bitters (8/10). Like a slightly spiced Old Fashioned. We also ordered the "Ohio Hot" Fall Calamari ($16). It was Crisp Porcini Mushroom Dusted Calamari, Roasted Butternut & Sweet Potato Hash, Pumpkin Seed Chili Crisp, with Maple Hot Honey. What a symphony of flavor. The calamari was crispy and lightly battered, with good seasoning and crunch. The hash and chili crisp were the perfect compliment. The maple hot honey gave it a hint of sweet, with more than a hint of spicy. One of the better starters I've ever had (9.5/10). For mains we had the Appalachian Wagyu Beef Cheeks ($38), and the Autumn Duck Breast ($36). The beef came with Apple & brandy braised wagyu beef cheeks, smoked whipped potatoes, sweet & sour root vegetables, and crisp parsnips, with a red-eye demi-glace. The beef was the most tender I've ever had in a dish like this. No knife needed. Just fell apart and melted. The whipped potatoes gave a nice balance, and the crisp parsnips had just enough starch and crunch to tie everything together perfectly (8.5/10). The second main featured a Smoked maple seared hudson valley duck breast (medium rare), sweet potato & duck confit farro, wilted fall greens & candied turnips, and apple chutney, with pomegranate glaze. I'd never had farro before. It's a whole grain wheat, kind of similar in look to barley, but tastes more nutty. With sweet potato chunks and duck confit mixed in, it was absolutely *phenomenal*. The turnips, which I wasn't looking forward to, were also somehow delicious. Chef is a magician back there. The duck was cooked perfectly, with the fat still in tact. Really happy with this decision (9.5/10). Weren't going to get dessert, but the pastry chef we'd been seated in front of all night talked us into the Chocolate Mocha Crème Brûlée ($11). Thank god he did, because, wow. I've had a lot of traditional crème brûlée in my day. My first venture into chocolate was unreal. Caramelized sugar on top of a downright decadent chocolate custard with just the right amount of espresso flavoring. Topped with house made whip and two chocolates shaped into "coffee beans". Couldn't have asked for a better end to an outstanding birthday dinner. Service has always been top notch. It's fine dining, but the servers feel like family. It's never felt stuffy or sterile, which some "fine dining" tends to do. If you're anywhere in northeast, or even east central, Ohio; "63 Corks" is worth the drive. You don't want to miss this place. Trust me."
"Happenstance Cafe is a lovely spot on the Laweranceville/Bloomfield border. I thought the espresso martinis were executed well and tasted wonderfully. Fresh espresso really does make a difference! Mama's Buttermilk Chicken Salad was my lunch choice and I was really impressed by the flavor and the croissant itself. Their croissant is absolutely one of the best I've had in PGH. I really enjoyed the pickle and fries too. The vibes here truly were amazing. The staff were very welcoming and even delievered our food to us on the 2nd floor. It was a cold winter day, but Happenstance Cafe warmed me up. I noticed a Happy Hour sign on my way out and I am looking forward to it in the Spring as they have a patio/deck area."
"I love The Nest! We do all of our event celebrations here, birthdays and anniversaries and stuff. Cozy, old-timey feel. Classic seafood/steak offerings. Always reliable. A diamond in the Jeannette rough."
"Just moved around the corner so we have been visiting more often and we have loved everything so far! The 4 dip app is the best! We have had the bowls, the tacos, the fajitas, and more. We will be back!"
"I'm so picky about sushi and what I'm willing to eat. Thai Lanna has a Sushi Monday special where certain rolls are $3.99 and it's a great way to try things I wouldn't normally eat.The Shrimp & Cucumber roll is my absolute favorite. They also have a Thai Cashew Chicken that's absolutely incredible and a must-order. We typically order crab rangoon and spring rolls too. This last week I tried the California Roll (Crab + Cucumber + Avocado) and I'll be ordering it again for sure!!"
"Huge portions! It was Armstrongs Homecoming and the place was PACKED but the service was on point. Our waitress was on tops of things (unfortunately I didn't catch her name) bringing out refills without us asking and clearing away dishes as we finished. This is a restaurant that's been around a long time and known for their large portions. While packed you could still have a nice conversation and the restaurant wasn't too loud inside. I enjoyed my meal, the sauce is sweet which is not my preference but it was good/different. Wish I would have looked at the pictures of others reviews because the menu is large and a lot of things sounded good. My husband also ordered the chicken parm so I could have tried something else and also tried his. The pictures of the chicken bruschetta and chicken penne look amazing. Next time if we are ever back in the area!"
"Great food, service and ambience. We've been going there since it opened and it's always excellent."
"We've been coming here for special occasions for years. Love the atmosphere, food, staff and history. Such a unique restaurant right here in Ohio. One of these days we'll stay the night! Lincoln room is definitely on our list of things to do. Great job, as always!"
"Wonderful evening celebrating my mother in laws bday! Party of 8. Food was fabulous. Our server Melissa was excellent. Thank you MelissaAnd staff for making this a memorable evening."
"Super cute little wine bar in town! Owners were so friendly and knowledgeable about wines. They offer free samples until you find your favorite choice of wine to order by glass or grab a bottle to go."
