"Came to Johnstown to hike and explore on a July Sunday. My friend and I first hiked at Lorain/Stonycreek. Afterwards, we were famished and my friend had the task of finding us a great lunch spot. Wahlah! Osaka, it was!We were promptly greeted and seated in a booth. They had an all-you-can-eat option. We looked at the menu and decided we would opt out of that and just order from the menu, saving a few bucks for the amount of food we wanted. We ended up ordering a roll and a combo platter of sashimi and a roll. We also got miso soup and seaweed salad with soft drinks.Service was fast, our server was very nice and efficient, the food was all good and presentation eye catching. The only critique would be our diet pepsis. They tasted "off", "heavy", maybe carbonation not quite right. Other than that, a great dining option!"
"Stopped in for lunch with friends and was not disappointed. We were greeted within 30 seconds of walking in. The restaurant looked and smelled clean. I was a little worried because the restaurant was empty. I looked over the lunch menu and decided on the roast pork egg for young for $5.95. It is served with rice and I chose the wonton soup. The wonton soup has clear broth, two large neatly rolled wontons and sprinkled with chopped scallion. The broth had a good flavor... definitely not made from bullion cubes. The wonton texture was perfect and the filling stayed firm when cut inside the soup.Egg Foo Young varies from place to place but I took a chance. The patties we're huge, nicely browned and the gravy was served on the side. No flavor was over powering and everything tasted great. The rice was firm and fresh. Good flavor. Excellent prices and service. The meal ended with the check and fortune cookies. Locals should check out this gem."

"Second visit for sushi, this time we enjoyed the (16 pcs) oceanside sushi combo for my first time dine in experience, as I greatly enjoyed the chicken and shrimp Pad Thai...what a treat to be served a sizzling hot meal with the perfectly recommended level of spice/heat. I highly recommend this Burmese, pan-Asian restaurant that includes sushi, Thai and Chinese food, combined with excellent service for an enjoyable dinning experience."
"Great little hole in the wall restaurant in the heart of My Lebanon. Tasty Thai food and friendly owners. Best for take out as the place is very small with limited seating."
"I don't know how many times we ordered from here but it's always great. The food has been consistently fantastic every single time we order which is like once a month or more. The staff is always friendly and quick it's the best Asian food you'll get in the area."
"Better than Schezwan in my opinion!!So far ive had the sweet and sour chicken, the sesame chicken, the kum po chicken, the general tso's chicken, and the chicken and brocolli. Im not a huge fan of the general tso's, bu the sweet and sour chicken is a definent favorite of mine along with the sesame chicken and also the chicken and brocolli. My roomate enjoys the orange chicken. The service is extremely quick wether you pick up or eat in, and they also deliever! My friend had the Chicken Pad Thai and informed me that it was not real chicken pad thai and she was extremely dissappointed :/On the other hand you get alot for what you pay for. Their lunch specials run no more than $6 dollars (most are low $5) and you get fried rice, and a pork egg roll. You can always subsitute white rice for fried rice and a shrimp egg roll for the pork.My favorite part about this place against schezwan is that it is no where NEAR as greesy!!!!Means its my favorite chinesse resturant in Johnstown for certain!PS: The sweet and sour chicken is the type that comes out breaded and you either dip your chicken in the sauce or pour it all over your chicken."
"I gave this spot a try for lunch today. I was not disappointed! The staff is friendly and professional. A parking lot is conveniently located right across from the entrance to the restaurant. The restaurant is clean and there is good spacing between tables and booths.I ordered the Thai dumplings as my app with the Thai Foon Special fried rice (no heat), I don't do spicy food very well. And a Thai Iced tea with tapioca balls.Everything was delicious! This is going to be my go to dish, all of the protein add ins were cooked perfectly.Cash/Credit/Debit are accepted here."
"Very pleased with my pineapple fried rice with chicken and complementary soup.Ordered heat level 3 of 10 because I am a wienie. It was just right and warmed my insides. I didn't leave a single bite uneaten so I judge from that I must have enjoyed it thoroughly. Also, the soup was extremely flavorful and I could have eaten a lot more. This was a great venue choice having just come from the Jimmy Stewart museum, just a short jaunt away by foot."
"As a traveler I depend on accurate reviews to make my selections of food choices. I do like to try a variety of foods, and sometimes, out of the way places. Thai, is one of my favorite foods and I was not disappointed by the Curry Duck. It came out perfect temperature and the flavor was amazing. The service was awesome. I never had to wait for someone to check on me, and they were very cordial and always smiling; that's a huge plus for me. The ambiance was that if most Thai places but still was very colorful and clean. I would definitely venture here again."
"Good food fast at a reasonable price. Bought Chinese vegetables and shrimp and Shrimp LoMein delicious. Love supporting a family small business."
"The food is always really good and made fresh. The service is spot on. I always feel comfortable and relaxed when dining here. They are really getting to know us, because we frequent often."
"Everything is good:Service: owner works hard for the money. Care and love is poured into each dish. I have visited countless times, more than I can count with both hands. Cannot go wrong any dish:Pad Thai w tofu - only tofu I have had that actually tastes like it should! Seafood Curry - great with a bowl of rice.Spring rolls - crispy and fresh friedGrilled Salmon - how do they get it nice and flakey like that each time? All in all, it is a saved location of mine. It is a plus they open to 9 pm or 9:30 pm depending on the day."

First and foremost - this place is a true hidden gem! The dining room is nicely renovated and cozy. Staff is swift and polite. The menu has everything from classic Chinese fare like General Tso, to pad Thai noodles, to hibachi, to sushi platters. Let's get into the details: my husband and I decided to try this place out on a Sunday night. We were practically the only ones in the restaurant. We arrived about 7:15 and we had our full meal in front of us and already half way down with our meal by 7:45. They were extremely fast. I ordered the spicy maki sushi platter and my husband got the general Tsos chicken. The sushi was phenomenal and gorgeously plated. The general tsos chicken was honestly some of the best chicken I've ever had. Their prices are extremely reasonable. We got my sushi meal (that included soup and salad), a order or general tsos chicken, plus a king crab roll, and a spicy crab roll for just $42. Not bad at all! Seriously guys... do not sleep on this gem! I'll absolutely be back!

Royal Myanmar is a local Asian restaurant that has a casual atmosphere. Please see my attached photos for its menu in January 2024. The menu items seem to reflect cuisine not only from Myanmar/Burma but also other countries such as China, India, Japan, and Thailand. My husband and I ate lunch here. We interacted with two employees, and they both served us very promptly and politely. I greatly appreciated their recommendations for the most authentic Burmese foods. Here are my reviews for our foods:Crispy pork spring roll - 4.5 stars - This appetizer consisted of three fried rolls that were filled with pork, mushrooms, and noodles. On the side was a flavorful sweet-chili sauce. Pickled Tea leaf salad - 5 stars - This salad consisted of tea leaf, cabbage, tomato, garlic, peanuts, broad beans, yellow peas, sesame seed, and lime dressing. This salad was very different from other salads that I have eaten elsewhere, and I enjoyed the flavors in every bite.Chicken and Potato Curry - 5 stars - This entree contained chunks of juicy chicken, chunks of potatoes, and a curry sauce. I had requested a spiciness level of medium or 5/10, and the cook added the proper amount of spice. On the side was a bowl of steamed rice.Pad Thai - 4.5 stars - My husband ate this entree, and I taste-tested a couple of bites. The entree contained stir-fried rice noodles, chunks of chicken, shrimps, bean sprouts, scallions, scrambled eggs, peanuts, and sauce. My husband does not like spice, so he requested a level of 1/10. The cook made the entree not spicy but still flavorful.Golden Shwe Ji - 4.5 stars - The menu said that this dessert contained wheat coconut cream, raisins, brown sugar, and poppy seeds. The flavors were very new to my tastebuds, but I liked them.Mango milkshake - 5 stars - This milkshake tasted sweet and was a perfect counterbalance to the spices in my appetizer and entree.Thai iced tea - 5 stars - My husband drank this tea. It tasted slightly spicy and was refreshing. The total price for this meal was $75 plus a tip.Currently, the U.S. State Department has a travel advisory of "Level 4: Do Not Travel" for Burma, so I might never have the opportunity to eat Burmese food in that country. I feel thankful that Royal Myanmar restaurant gave me the experience of eating Burmese foods.

The food was absolutely delicious!! Made it for the lunch prices. I got the yellow curry with fried tofu, my bf got yellow curry noodle soup and an order of pad see ew (I am so sorry if I spelled that wrong) I got fried rice with mine and for being rice it had tons of flavor. The tea we got was really good and it's hard to make unsweetened tea that good. The place was super clean, not loud and very inviting. It was raining outside and made it feel like the perfect meal. Our waitress was super sweet and amazing! I get anxiety when going to a new place and she was nice and described the menu to me. Everything just had so much flavor! They actually seasoned everything perfectly and had nice portions! Never had pineapple or onions in yellow curry but it was really good. We will absolutely be coming back. We live an hour out but this place is totally worth it. And they took my e gift card, a lot of places won't.

Delicious and authentic. I'm a fiend for Tom Yam and they do it right. Rich and spicy with generous helpings of noodles. Great service, friendly and bright. Lucky to have this gem in a small rural town.

"This is my personal favorite Thai restaurant in the Pittsburgh area. There are some top competitors, but this one is always solid. I've eaten here with friends and family many times. Everyone loves this place, it has a very friendly and hospitable feeling. BYOB is a plus, but as a wine drinker, I've never brought in a bottle (This might change next week ;) The food just speaks for itself in a great way. I'm always so happy with the smells and the taste, I feel that alcohol just gets in the way.Tom Yum soup is always a litmus test for me and they own it. I've only had better at Nikki's Thai Kitchen downtown but that is a different atmosphere and experience. The fried tofu and seitan have always been top notch. The menu has been refined over the years, but I think that's a good thing because the quality is what counts, not the number of options. All my love to the second generation of the family keeping this going. This is a Pittsburgh staple restaurant in the Bloomfield area! xoxo"
"They closed in an hour and still served us hot, fresh food without any issues. Got the Chicken Bún and it was delicious. Fresh and flavorful. I could eat my weight in those spring rolls. Also had the dumplings (not pictured) and they had a good ratio of meat to dumpling. Very fresh. Everything was hot and service was fast and friendly. The inside was small, clean, and cozy. I really liked the laterns on the ceiling. I would definitely come back."
"There is no other restaurant for us in Altoona. We have officially dubbed this the BEST restaurant in this town. Started with pork rolls. They hit the spot perfectly. My husband only wished we had doubled the order because they were so tasty. He's actually glad we didn't as the next course included so much food. He went with the 3 flavor chicken and I went with the green curry. Both were very flavorful, and we devoured almost everything. Somehow made space to share dessert. Not exactly sure what it was as we ordered what our new friends at the table beside us had... Can't wait to repeat. Bravo Aoy Thai Restaurant!!"
"I seriously just need to come here to say it again. These people are so freaking nice! Go spend your money here. The food is outstanding and they are just the best. Just stopped to pick up a small lunch order and he was so happy and friendly, gave me a free can of "pop" with my lunch and wished me a Happy Easter as I walked out the door. This was one of probably 11 business I patronized today, getting ready for the holiday, and they were the only ones I dealt with that were actually nice! Love Asian Kitchen II and will continue to sing their praises from the rooftop!"
"We went here to get out of the heat! We were seated right away and immediately got water. The food and the service were both good. I ordered the fried calamari and it was awful - limp and chewy. We also tried the Pad Thai with beef and that was very good. The restaurant was very nice, and a great break from the summer sun."
"Always a fan of Nicky's. Great food and friendly service. The music is a bit loud, but it's tolerable."
"Came in on a hoppin Saturday night 10 days before Christmas and the place was packed! If you come on the weekend reservations are probably a good idea. Parking will be hit/miss, you might get somewhere close. You might park 4 blocks away like I had to. The inside has a nice vibe as it's situated in an older building with lots of brick. The place is loud if it's busy so be prepared for that. The food is all really good, from the pho to the rangoons and egg rolls to all the sushi. My only chief complaint and I'm offering grace here because I know it was busy, is that it took a solid 25-30 minutes to get the appetizers after we got our drinks. Otherwise the service was good as well as the food. Check it out!"
"Great service and food was delicious. Can't wait to go again!! Had a fantastic lunch with fried s."
"Be prepared for spice! Got takeout tonight. My husband and I both had pad thai which was very solid just be ready for spice. I got a 3/5 which is pretty typical for me and it was on the spicier end IMO. Will def be ordering again soon!"
"It's an unassuming gem. Located in a strip mall, this is some of the best sushi around. The dinosaur egg app is the best!! I get it every single time I go. Everything is tasty and they have a large selection."
"YUM! Stopped here on a whim because I had a hankering for pho and it was a one stop shop! My husband had a chicken curry dish and I had beef pho. Both came with a small salad with ginger dressing. We also started with the crab Rangoon appetizer (pictured). For two entrees, the app and two Sapporo beers, our bill was $44 before tip. They also have BOGO sushi but you have to buy a $13+ roll to get a more basic roll for free ($5+). Server was friendly and service was good!"
"This is a really little cute Thai spot in Bellevue! Super cozy inside and would be great for takeout too! We dined in.We got potstickers and the crab Rangoon to start! Their rangoon are unique and have a curry flavor, these were super flavorful and yummy! I was skeptical but they were delicious!Potstickers were solid but nothing super special! I got my usual pad see ew, and I got it with shrimp! The shrimp was cooked perfectly! I would definitely return to this spot, they have a huge menu and staff was very friendly!"
"Best place in Pittsburgh! The food is great but the cocktails are impeccable! Also the wine list is one of the best in Pittsburgh too. The ambiance, service, and food surpass expectations. Make the reservation!"
"I really enjoyed this busy restaurant in the heart of State College. Walked in and seated quickly. The tables were buzzing with patrons. The Lemongrass soup, as it is called, but is Tum Yum soup and is a full of flavor treat. Spicy, savory and filled with chicken and mushrooms. I love spicy and this has a bite! The chicken satay appetizer is 5 skewers either a side of peanut dipping sauce. The Beef Salad is really a Larb Gai. Spicy! With lime tang and a ton of fresh veggies! Did I mention spicy?! The pad Thai and all entrees are huge!"
"Delicious Laotian and Thai food. The service was prompt and professional. This was my first experience with Laotian food and I was quite pleased. The dining room is attractive, with a high window overlooking Forbes Ave.I love learning about new cuisines, and this restaurant is a great place to experience that."
"The best tasting food, in a great location and nicely appointed restaurant with friendly helpful service is what Elephant #8 Thai Taste in Slippery Rock, PA is all about. The wife and I think this is the best tasting, most authentic, Thai restaurant for 40 miles around. And the ambiance is friendly with great wait staff who are genuinely happy you are there. On this trip we got the Pad Thai with chicken, and I got the Chicken Larb (Larb Gai). Both had the full fresh flavor that sets Thai cuisine apart from Chinese. There is no greasy or oily flavor or texture. And having eaten Thai home cooking at friends homes while in the Air Force I can say the food at Elephant #8 is genuine tasting and delicious. In photos I've added pages from the menu, look them over. The food tastes as good as it looks."
"Went there for lunch. Took my friend there (she has never tried Thai food before) and enjoyed her first pad Thai. I ordered Thai basil with chicken and it was excellent. Unfortunately,They did not have their lunch menu available so we needed up with dinner portions which were huge- good for 3 meals for me."
"Genuinely so tasty and authentic. I was shocked this small town has such a delicious authentic spot! The food is always great and fresh!!!!!! I love the glass noodles and the red curry"
"Best Thai in the city. I've tried a lot of Thai places in Pittsburgh, but this one beats them all. Any noodle dish I've had was outstanding, and the dumplings are always the best. Takeout and eating in are both great options."
"Amazing! Get the Black and Gold fried rice. So good and not something I've seen anywhere else. Very friendly staff. We were in Pittsburgh for two nights and ate there both nights."
"First and foremost I am shocked at the bad reviews I've read and feel that most of them stem from long ago or just a bad day?Because my experience was amazing, outstanding, down right phenomenal! Chef Lek and her team are gracious, warm and welcoming. They walked us through the menu being new guests and made sure we felt comfortable with several items from our experience in Thai cuisine. We were here based on reviews from https://www.instagram.com/ana.eats.pgh?igsh=MXZzcnk3bGJxaDYyMQ==This woman knows good food, and she knows that this is a gem amongst many in this great city. Can't wait to come back and try more!!"
"Glad we finally decided to stop here. My husband has wanted to n one night we just couldn't decide where to eat , we drove by n decided to stop. My husband had the duck pad Thai n I had the 3 taste chicken! I only ever ate duck one other time years ago so I was unsure if I would like it. It was delicious n my chicken was just as good! The service was wonderful too. Definitely will return to try something else."
"I have been here three times now over the span of four years. I can't recall my previous experiences being too great, so I am only considering this last visit. Though this restaurant is a Thai restaurant they serve a variety of Asian dishes other than Thai. The parking isn't terrible but it's not too convenient. The restaurant is located in a residential neighborhood, so on certain streets you have to have a permit. We were able to find parking after a second spin around the block. We were seated quickly. It was a little early for the dinner crowd and late for the lunch crowd, so with just a handful of people in the place it was quite spacious. I ordered a tofu summer roll and Pad Kee Mao with tofu and requested a level 8 spice. I also requested Thai chili paste with my summer roll and got red pepper flakes instead. They did the job but not what I wanted. The Pad Kee Mao was served with carrots and sugar snap peas, along with green pepper and cabbage. Not exactly typical. The noodles were nice which I think was an improvement from my first visit, but my eight-spice level was bland. Good thing I held onto the red pepper flakes. I generously seasoned my food with them, which is quite disappointing considering I ordered an 8. Otherwise the dish was fine. Nothing to be overexcited about or upset over. Average. Upon receiving my bill, I understood why my dish was so mild. They marked it incorrectly at the time of order at a 0-3 mild spice. It was well too late to make a fuss, so I paid and left. Average experience but if you want Thai in Greensburg, I think this may be one of your only options."
