"Not bad. This very casual restaurant cooks hibachi style, but they do not cook at the table in case y'all wanted to know. They communicate well and are very friendly. We were served an amuse bouche of fried wonton and duck sauce upon being seated. All hibachi meals come with a small, simple iceberg salad, a side of glazed carrots and fried rice. I wasn't a fan of the fried rice, the carrots appeared to be canned although they tasted very good. I got scallops and my guest got salmon. My scallops were a little overcooked, but the salmon was spot on. There is room for improvement and I hope they will take heed. Canned carrots just shouldn't be on the plate..."
"Always a great experience at Mizu. I felt adventurous and decided to try something new, so I got the Bento box."

"Wanted to include a pic but we ate everything up without thinking twice about it! The service was quick and attentive, atmosphere was good, as was the food. We had the gyoza and a couple sushi rolls. My picky 1-year-old approved of the gyoza, and no complaints about the sushi, except that I personally like smaller rolls that I can fit in my mouth in one bite instead of trying to bite them in half and have them spill out and make a mess lol. I would come back!"
"Love this hidden gem! All the food I tried while visiting Pittsburgh on a work trip was delicious! 10/10 would definitely recommend!"
"Amazing selection and delicious food. Coming from California, I was worried about not finding a good ramen/sushi place. Edamame has both. Everything I've tried has been exceptional and very much worth the prices. The large ramen is gigantic. The service is also great. I also love their milk tea/boba options."
"The sushi is made to order, and I had heard about Asahi from my colleagues some time ago.I was driving through Washington County on the way to Columbus, Ohio, and decided to stop through. Lunch cost me about $20 plus tip, the service was prompt and the food was decent. The restaurant is clean and spacious.I recommend giving this place a try. I didn't have a chance to try the hibachi. Perhaps next time."
"Second visit for sushi, this time we enjoyed the (16 pcs) oceanside sushi combo for my first time dine in experience, as I greatly enjoyed the chicken and shrimp Pad Thai...what a treat to be served a sizzling hot meal with the perfectly recommended level of spice/heat. I highly recommend this Burmese, pan-Asian restaurant that includes sushi, Thai and Chinese food, combined with excellent service for an enjoyable dinning experience."
"Aug 27th 2024 I love Taipei Tokyo !!!! I tried Moo Goo Gai Pan and loved it , I also can't get enough of the Gyoza Fried Dumplings. Highly recommend no stop go directly to Taipei Tokyo in Monroeville!!"
"I've ordered takeout from Katana a handful of times, and my experience has always been a good one. The food is fresh, hot, and very tasty. The Crispy Roll is my favorite sushi item. Try adding asparagus to it, and thank me later :)The hibachi is very flavorful, and portions are good. Some highlights were the chicken and steak hibachi, and the chicken katsu. If you try it you won't be disappointed!"
"This place is pretty interesting. I've ordered delivery from Sakura a couple times but haven't gone to the restaurant itself. As a restaurant for delivery it's one of your better options. The best place for delivery is JJ Poke, but they are not open on Saturdays (they received a 5 star from me around a year ago but I have seen some minor quality issues recently), so a restaurant needs to fill the void for my Saturday sushi cravings. Out of the options for delivery, Sakura Poke is one of the better ones. Better quality than somewhere like Moon Sushi and Ramen, Zen Asian Diner and Maya Sushi (Maya is a great restaurant for dining in, but prices there are expensive - especially for delivery). The real competitors in this space are Diners 2+1 and Mount Everest which are regarded as some of the best sushi restaurants by people on Yelp (you can see my profile for my picks, they are not among them). I can't comment on the service at the restaurant as I haven't been there, but it appears to be a fast casual restaurant where you order at a counter, based on the pictures.Prices at Sakura are standard for 2025, $6.50 - $9 for a basic roll, $12 for a specialty roll, their poke is a bit expensive at $15. I recommend you look at their menu online, as most noteworthy menu items have a picture associated with them. I recommend their combination options, Variety Combo especially - $16 for 20 pieces of rolls (4 5-piece rolls), most of their combo options are a good value for money. Based on their website, they are rolling out daily deals starting next week (January 13th), with a rotating $5 roll each day of the week (excluding weekends). In regards to the quality of the food, Sakura is on-par with somewhere like Diners 2+1 or Mount Everest when getting delivery. I believe Diners 2+1 is a better option when dining in, but both of these restaurants are going to be more expensive than Sakura for the average diner. The quality for Pittsburgh is average to slightly above average. In the same bracket as somewhere like Diners 2+1, Mt Everest and Pittsburgh Poke, better quality than Mad Noodles, No 1. Sushi, Moon Sushi and Ramen, Zen Asian Diner, and Kura, worse quality than Mola and JJ Poke (I have tried all of these places personally). Sakura likely deserves 3.5 stars, as it is slightly above average, though Yelp does not allow half stars for user reviews. I am giving it 4 stars due to the prices being lower than other restaurants in its quality bracket and it being one of the better options for delivery. If prices increase at Sakura after I have posted my review (at any time in the near future), you should evaluate the restaurant accordingly (which would likely result in being graded a 3 - 3.5 from me, rather than 3.5 - 4). I also grade on a bell curve, where average restaurants receive 3 stars from me, and only outstanding ones receive 5, unlike most Yelp users who give restaurants 5 stars if the restaurant lacks any glaring outstanding issues. Overall, Sakura is a good option for delivery and likely take-out, though it doesn't compete with the outstanding sushi restaurants in our city such as Mola."
"I was fairly happy with this buffet. It's been years since I was here last. I came at a weird time between lunch in dinner after work on a Saturday at 3pm.The majority of the food was filled and staff was keeping up with replacements. The items on the far right seemed to be older and not as hot or fresh. Some was cold. Everything else I had was decent.Habatchi grill is always worth getting and cooked right in front of you. There was a good amount of different sushi to choose from as well.I wasn't sure what my bill would be. It was 3:35 when I finished and know the price changes at 3:30 but got there at 3. They must have a grace period as the time was about 15 mins behind on the bill and still got brunch price. There is the notice outside and on each table about not wasting food or charging more for."
"Great option for a pre-concert meal. I don't think there is much competition in the way of Chinese cuisine in the neighborhood, so it seems to do a steady business. The menu offers plenty of options. I noticed they also offer delivery and catering services.Service was extremely fast. Barely any wait at all for our food.I tend to grade places on their spring rolls, and the salt content of their sauces, so this explains the 3 stars. They also used way too much raw American celery in my dish.Overall, it was a good stop before a concert since most of the other places in the area are overcrowded and overpriced.BYOB is always a plus!"

We're so happy we stopped by Osaka! Everything we ordered was amazing & their service was excellent! The restaurant itself is relaxing and calm, we loved all of the natural light coming in. I ordered the chicken teriyaki hibachi dinner, my husband had gotten their steak hibachi for his. We also ordered a California roll and Crab Rangoons. Everything tasted so fresh, my chicken literally melted in my mouth! I wasn't personally crazy about the sweet carrots; but I'm more of a spicy & savory food person. They still tasted great according to my husband. Overall, we can't wait to go back or order takeout!!

My friends and I have tried sushi around the country and for whatever reason nothing tops Mizu sushi and has become a favorite. A typical meal costs around $20 but the real bang for your buck is the lunch special (Monday-Saturday open-4pm). The only place that has out-done mizu in my experience is a place in Toronto. The service is always great and everyone is easy to understand. The ambiance is above average, especially when the bubble wall is fully functioning.

I stopped here for lunch with a group of coworkers. We decided to dine in and were seated right away since most of the tables were empty. The atmosphere is relaxed with distinctly Asian decor and white table cloths. Despite the formal decor, this is definitely a casual spot. The menu was a mix of traditional authentic Chinese, American Chinese, and other Asian dishes like pad thai. I ordered the beef and mixed vegetables with fried rice. It was tasty and met my expectation for this dish based upon experiences at other Chinese restaurants. Next time, I would like to try some of the other more authentic Chinese dishes, which seem to be more their specialty. Service was fast and our waiter was friendly. If you're looking for Chinese food in the Shadyside area, this is a great place to stop by and try.

Relaxing jazz music, quick service, but most importantly, amazing food. I had the Tonkatsu Ramen, and some Takoyaki to start. It's genuine, and an amazing experience, even for experienced foodies. The broth will knock your socks off!

Royal Myanmar is a local Asian restaurant that has a casual atmosphere. Please see my attached photos for its menu in January 2024. The menu items seem to reflect cuisine not only from Myanmar/Burma but also other countries such as China, India, Japan, and Thailand. My husband and I ate lunch here. We interacted with two employees, and they both served us very promptly and politely. I greatly appreciated their recommendations for the most authentic Burmese foods. Here are my reviews for our foods:Crispy pork spring roll - 4.5 stars - This appetizer consisted of three fried rolls that were filled with pork, mushrooms, and noodles. On the side was a flavorful sweet-chili sauce. Pickled Tea leaf salad - 5 stars - This salad consisted of tea leaf, cabbage, tomato, garlic, peanuts, broad beans, yellow peas, sesame seed, and lime dressing. This salad was very different from other salads that I have eaten elsewhere, and I enjoyed the flavors in every bite.Chicken and Potato Curry - 5 stars - This entree contained chunks of juicy chicken, chunks of potatoes, and a curry sauce. I had requested a spiciness level of medium or 5/10, and the cook added the proper amount of spice. On the side was a bowl of steamed rice.Pad Thai - 4.5 stars - My husband ate this entree, and I taste-tested a couple of bites. The entree contained stir-fried rice noodles, chunks of chicken, shrimps, bean sprouts, scallions, scrambled eggs, peanuts, and sauce. My husband does not like spice, so he requested a level of 1/10. The cook made the entree not spicy but still flavorful.Golden Shwe Ji - 4.5 stars - The menu said that this dessert contained wheat coconut cream, raisins, brown sugar, and poppy seeds. The flavors were very new to my tastebuds, but I liked them.Mango milkshake - 5 stars - This milkshake tasted sweet and was a perfect counterbalance to the spices in my appetizer and entree.Thai iced tea - 5 stars - My husband drank this tea. It tasted slightly spicy and was refreshing. The total price for this meal was $75 plus a tip.Currently, the U.S. State Department has a travel advisory of "Level 4: Do Not Travel" for Burma, so I might never have the opportunity to eat Burmese food in that country. I feel thankful that Royal Myanmar restaurant gave me the experience of eating Burmese foods.

I tried this place for lunch yesterday, $12 for both of these not bad at all! Everyone I dealt with at the restaurant was super nice, which is always refreshing. The sushi was good, i waited a little too long to eat it so I had to let it cool back down in the fridge at work but it was still delicious

"Incredible sushi with a good variety. We got the edamame and miso soup to start. We ordered several specialty rolls and a few nigiri. Everyone was super friendly and the restaurant looked clean. We can't wait to go back!"
"Some of my coworkers and I came here on a Monday for lunch. There was no one in the restaurant, so we were seated right away. The lunch special included a soup, ginger salad and then an entree of choice with two of four sides. I chose the chicken entree with vegetables and fried rice. The chicken was covered in a sweet sauce but was a little chewy. The vegetable combination was not my favorite. The fried rice was quite average as well. For the price and the quantity of food, it was an ok lunch option."
"The outside of this place is deceiving. It didn't liked like a real nice place. The inside though is clean and formal with tablecloths, tacky service, and real china. The food is reasonably priced and my dish was excellent. I got the Kung Pao Chicken combo. The egg roll was large and perfectly cooked. They had real condiments, not to go packets. The sauce on my chicken was some of the best I've ever had.I'll definitely eat here again when in town."
"TJ Buffet Sushi And Grill is located in the Galleria at Pittsburgh Mills near the Macy's. Has both an interior and exterior entrance as the buffet has later hours then the Galleria. TJ has more than enough seating and is larger than it looks. I was not originally intending to dine here, but after walking by, it smelled really good. I dined here for dinner, and despite it being after 7PM, all items were kept well stocked. Has the standard buffet items you would expect including fried rice, lo mein, chicken and broccoli, dumplings, egg rolls, etc. The sushi options were limited to a handful of rolls, but everything was fresh. Weirdly enough, they had really good French Fries for a buffet. Desert options included various items including fresh fruit, Jello, and several flavors of hard ice cream. Only minor issue was the fountain soda could have been better, but they do offer bottled soda as an option. Service was fast and attentive. Price was fine for a dinner buffet. Overall, I'd return here to dine again without question."
"Fantastic food! We ordered take-out when family came to visit, and everyone was very happy with their orders, and this can be a tough crowd to please! Every Sushi roll was wonderful. The Bento boxes were very tasty, the soups were flavorful. The restaurant is conveniently located on Boardman-Poland Road (224).' We will definitely be coming back for more."
"8 yrs later, this is still my favorite restaurant in the Akron area. Food hasnt changed. On our 2nd week into our recent vacation in Ireland, the only thing I wanted to eat was Sushi Asia Gourmet's Beef with Onion and Cumin . . ."
"Decided to try a new Japanese Hibachi Steakhouse. Went to the Ichiban in Robinson Township, PA. I must say I was disappointed. Went there for lunch, they don't have a lunch menu or maybe it was because we went on a Saturday. I ordered Filet mignon and Shrimp for my meal. I asked for my steak to be rare, and it was medium, my shrimp was so overcooked it was difficult to chew. I wasn't impressed with the fried rice either. The chef and waitress were pleasant and the waitress took care of our needs. The restaurant was set up with hibachi tables and looked like your typical Japanese Hibachi place. I don't think I'll return based on the fact that my food was subpar and because it was over cooked, it was basically inedible and I wasted $48 for my meal. I took the leftovers home, my husband took a bite of shrimp and spit it out, thank God my cat didn't mind over cooked food."
"I've been to hibachi all over the country for two decades and this is hands down the best hibachi I've ever had!! It had so much flavor!! Plus the staff is just absolutely amazing! Extremely personable, attentive and you leave feeling like you've made a new lifelong friend. We came to celebrate our son's 7th birthday, but we will most certainly be back for many family dinners to come!"
"I really enjoyed this place; it's a little hard to get in and out of on the curve on University, but I think it's worth it!I ordered the sizzling pineapple chicken and it came to the table with a bit of table side prep still needed, which I loved! It was almost like a sizzling fajita! The sauce was tangy and vibrant, lots of great flavor and aroma. The chicken had a crispy exterior until it was doused with the sauce so it gave it a really nice texture. Only thing I would say is they do not give you very much rice. Other than that, delicious!"
"We were on our way back to NY and wanted to grab dinner. Searched for restaurants along the route and decided to come here! It has a great selection of hot foods, sushi and desserts. Recommend ending your meal with a scoop or two of their ice cream! The food was better than expected. Our waitress was attentive and nice. The Sunday night buffet cost was $15.99 per person."
"Love this place. Always come here for sushi and sometimes the hibachi. The sushi is delicious. Usually when I come here, it's with a group and we order multiple rolls and split them. It all tastes wonderful and fresh. Never disappointed with what I order and they make make it quick too. They usually have 2 to 3 chefs working on sushi rolls and that is smart to do. Especially on half price sushi hours during the weekends. The hibachi is also something that is tasty and entertaining. The alcoholic drink are also fun, pretty, and delicious. They are very accommodating as well. We asked if we could have our sushi on a boat and they gladly did that for us. They're quick with drink refills and ensuring we have everything we need and want. I drive an hour just to come here and it's always worth it!"
"I have stopped by here twice now with my wife and twins for dinner. Both time that's we stopped at Kasai we had ordered online and then I ran in to pick up the food. This restaurant is located on East Main Street in the heart of the Carnegie business district. The inside from what I have seen consists of a sushi bar with the cash register on one side and then seating throughout the rest. Our food was ready whenever I arrived both times that we ordered food from Kaisai. For dinner on my most recent visit I order the spicy chicken bibimbap and then a seaweed salad as a side while my wife went with the avocado roll and shrimp tempura roll. The menu describes my meal as coming with rice, spinach, carrots, bean sprout, zucchini, sunny side egg and spicy sauce (gojujang) and my wife's shrimp tempura roll as Fried shrimp, cucumber, avocado, spicy mayo and eel sauce. My meal here ended up being good as I thought that the chicken had a good flavor to it which was slightly spicy. I was able to cut into my egg and the yolk was then able to be mixed into my meal making the rice richer. Then I also enjoyed all of the vegetables, especially the carrots and zucchini as it helped to make my dish feel healthier. My seaweed salad was also pretty good here as it had a type of sweet and sour flavor to it which both my daughter and I enjoyed. Finally my wife enjoyed both of her sushi rolls here. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. As a matter of a fact you already know that I did at least but the food was good and I will again."
"Stopped for lunch with a daughter and grand-daughter for a dine in experience. The decor was done very tasteful. We were greeted by a very young staffer about 6) that immediately acknowledged our presence and Hanes 3 menus to the host who then seated us. For drinks we ordered two soda pops and a sweet tea (all free refills). For an appetizer ordered anemames, and for our entrees we ordered one filet mignon fried rice and veggie bowl, one sirloin steak, fried rice and veggie bowl, and two sushi rolls (one California spicy roll and one Boston roll. I must say every item was quick and very tasty. The entire bill with tip was just under $50. Highly recommend this place and will be back often."
"Great place for sushi in the area. Love the happy hour and special menu. Big portions of entrees great for a big family get together. Attentive staff and decent wine selections."
"Best Chinese food around! Staff is friendly whether you are eating in or getting takeout. Never had a bad experience."
"New sushi spot in Cecil! I'm so happy I found this place - it was some of the best sushi I've had in a while. If you check out their Facebook page you'll find weekly deals on certain rolls. You can find their specials and full menu on there as well. I don't think they have a website up as of yet. My experience here was amazing. I ended up calling them on a day they were technically closed, and by my surprise they answered. They allowed me to put in a pickup order. I didn't realize it was cash only, so when I picked up I gave them what I had left of cash and ran over to a gas station atm to get the rest. They were fully willing to let me go and pay them back next time (which I thought was so kind of them). Next time you're in the area, give them a call! Even if it says they are closed it's worth a shot. Again it's cash only so be prepared!"
"This place was excellent, the staff was very polite and attentive. This was one of only a few places that had all you can eat menu that included sushi, fried appetizers, noodles, and many other items for only $23.99 per person. The inside was no special place, simple and functional.I will definitely return next time in town"
"Short and sweet. The best place! Employees, portions, price, the food is always top notch, never disappoints. I really love it here!"
"Amazing fresh sushi and hibachi. Very big portions! Totally worth the money. Service is average, nothing to complain about. I recommend J1 roll it is our go to everytime, but they have so many other great ones"
"Came in on a hoppin Saturday night 10 days before Christmas and the place was packed! If you come on the weekend reservations are probably a good idea. Parking will be hit/miss, you might get somewhere close. You might park 4 blocks away like I had to. The inside has a nice vibe as it's situated in an older building with lots of brick. The place is loud if it's busy so be prepared for that. The food is all really good, from the pho to the rangoons and egg rolls to all the sushi. My only chief complaint and I'm offering grace here because I know it was busy, is that it took a solid 25-30 minutes to get the appetizers after we got our drinks. Otherwise the service was good as well as the food. Check it out!"
"This week is their soft opening. I got the salmon rice bowl and it was good! If you like poke bowls, I would recommend to try the rice bowls here."
"The restaurant has just opened this past week. We had been looking forward to it as we love good Asian cuisine. The place is pretty spartan, but appears to be moving in the right direction with regard to ambiance. It's bright inside, there are a few dine-in tables. It was clean, and well maintained. The staff were very responsive to questions about their offerings, they seem very friendly and polite. The food was pretty good. We had the sashimi sampler, which had white tail, tuna and salmon, fresh and delicious. The shrimp shumai were tasty but tiny. We also loved the chicken udon noodles. It was made with bok choy, cloud ear mushrooms, and strips of steamed chicken breast. (Most places just toss in broccoli and carrots, so it was a nice difference.) The sweet potato roll was excellent. It was crispy and sweet. Try it with the owners secret wasabi mayo (he makes it himself), it's a very nice flavor contrast. The city roll was also nice. I would have liked it to have been more aggressively spicy, but it was still very tasty. We will be back for the Bento lunch specials. (We will definitely provide an update. They sound promising.). Two people, two appetizers, two rolls, an additional entree and two sodas, with tax and tip were just under $50. Very affordable for a night out. It would have helped the ambiance to have had some Asian music playing, and maybe some softer lighting. But this is a new establishment, and the quality of the food and friendliness of the staff tells me they will have a lot of opportunities to grow and improve. We really like having a sushi/fusion restaurant so close to home! So, keep up the good work!!"
"Sushi Jin Jing had excellent food, and a great variety of sushi, I got the pork katsu with a dipping sauce and rice. GREAT rice. Seriously good white rice that I haven't had in a long time. Just perfectly cooked and with such a good taste. The sushi I had was the octopus. The tako. Fresh and tender. The service was tableside by the sushi chef, but it was lunch. Just me inside. A LOT of takeout though. And personally I like the look of the dining room. It's a smallish place, but clean and a good look. I'd eat here again without any problem at all."
