"Service was excellent, steak was well cooked and seasoned. Dessert definitely stole the show...amazing!!!"
"Firebirds is a solid choice for the area, offering decent food with steaks that stand out. While it feels a notch above a typical chain restaurant, it's a reliable option for a satisfying meal. If you're staying nearby, it's worth a visit, but if you're able to venture into Pittsburgh, you'll find even more remarkable dining options."

"Great local steakhouse'ish. Good food. Good service. Bar can get crowded but they do a good job of moving things along. Ambiance is more relaxed on the bar side. But great place for a family dinner or date night."
"I was hungry when I got here so the freshly baked bread and creamy butter was oh so nice. The nice crispy edges and soft center of the bread hit the spot. The wife got the Ahi tuna salad and I got the Chicken and Shrimp creole. The tuna was great and prepared as asked. The chicken and shrimp were blackened, which is why I got it. Since I use little salt The first bite was too salty for me. I just ate it with some rice and it balanced it out. The flavor is what will keep me coming back. I haven't been here for over 10 years - since I've moved further away - and it's as good as it used to be, which is rare for a place. Nice indeed."
"Girls night out at the Brick and Barrel on Dorseyville Road. Nate was a great waiter. It is amazing how other wait staff can't read the room and carry their voices so loud. I had the Irish Elephant Old Fashion lovely. We shared the risotto balls and Chicken Pesto Pizza. Very good. ."
"The portions are HUMUNGOUS and the meal was delicious! I also got the crepe dessert and it was yummy. I asked the bar tender to surprise me with a fruity mocktail and she delivered, super appreciative as I rarely find bartenders that will accommodate mocktails."
"So I don't know why this place is getting such a bad rap in the Yelp reviews. We are visiting Pittsburgh for a week and this was on our list after riding the incline up to MT Washington. We went there today and it was really good. The view was stupendous. The food and the service were excellent. Yes you could pay a little less going someplace else, but that view was worth every penny! On a nice day you just can't beat it! Heather, our waitress was awesome and a lot of fun to talk to.I had the garlic burger and I asked for medium rare and that's exactly what I got. My wife had the berry salad with chicken and she loved it. There was nothing left on our plates and we're pretty picky. So I don't want to discount other peoples experiences, but ours was excellent and we would go back in a heartbeat. Do yourself a favor and give it a chance."
"I have been coming here about two a year for the last 6-7 years, and I cannot believe I have yet to review this place. The sushi list is endless and if you're not a sushi fan, the hibachi is just as out of this world ! I've been here about a dozen of times and I've never left disappointed. I have sat at the hibachi tables as well as the bar. The tuna tartar is my absolute favorite and my husband loves the filet mignon hibachi dinner that comes with all the sides such as rice veggies soup and salad. It is always pretty busy anytime we have dined in this establishment considering all of the entertainment places they have surround the restaurant ( improv, movie theater, shopping...etc). What I genuinely like about this place (I see it mainly with the bartenders ), is that no matter how busy or frustrating things may be they still take great care of you and hussle for fast service . I wish I remembers my bartenders name last Saturday because she was absolutely wonderful."
"Firebirds, a place I've frequented a few times and food was pretty good, but sometimes things change. Today was a simple delivery order, three....simple....burgers. (Two medium and one medium-well). All three arrived sloppy, burnt like charcoal briquets. Missing the condiments, no pickle, no mayo, ketchup, as was ordered and noted. Really pretty simple stuff, aint like three burgers is some botique order that needs the attention of a sous chef. All it needs si someone to do just that, pay attention, show a little care and attention to the order esp at these prices. Oh well"
"I don't know. I've been here lots of times over the years, and it never thrilled me. Don't get me wrong, it's good...but it's not great. The restaurant is nice, as is the décor. It looks like the type of restaurant you would have to dress-up to attend. But there are people coming straight off the golf course to dine here, so there are some shorts, t-shirts, sneakers, and ballcaps. The food is good, but nothing has stood out enough to say "I have to have that again!" The best thing on the menu is actually the Angry Lobster Roll appetizer. That is a must-have. Everything else is just there. For the prices they are charging, these dishes should be outstandingAlso, since this restaurant shares their parking lot with the hotel and golf course, it's tough to find a parking spot without a long walk."
"I took the little ones here for a really nice dinner treat after camp one day. Most of the diners were on a date with significant others so we were the odd ones. The service was really speedy and efficient. And the food was quite delicious. The restaurant has a lot of crosses and Christian symbolism. If you're in the mood for a meal sparing no details, check it out."
"We had a great dinner celebrating our daughter's birthday. We all had sushi. We tried the Lobster and Crab lover rolls which we enjoyed, the spicy roll combo and also some plain sushi. Followed by soup and salad (the dressing was good but not prefer more ginger/less mayo) and then we shared a hibachi dinner (filet and shrimp)...the steak wasn't that flavorful but overall the dinner was good and a generous portion (forgot to snap a pic) we had great service especially on a busy Saturday night. We opted to sit in the back at regular tables instead of the hibachi tables since we mainly came for sushi. The Hibachi tables sounded really fun though as there was a great crowd in the restaurant."

It's a really nice place inside. Dark and cozy, it's a nice place to hang out, have some drinks and a meal. Had been here about 4 years ago or so so came in for a steak after flying all dayHad a bourbon while I looked over the menuDecided on the wings for an app and an16oz ribeye with a baked potato and steamed vegetables Wings were delicious. Very full of flavor and cooked perfectly Got the BLT salad with the garlic ranch dressing. It was very good, I practically licked the bowl! The steak was a different story. It was cooked well and tasted ok except it was extremely salty. I couldn't eat the whole thing it was so salty. My tongue was still burning the next morning! Potato was excellent and I ate it skin and all. Veggies were ok, nothing specialHad the lemonade too, was good, definitely tasted fresh squeezed Service was good very nice and attentive

Any restaurant in their restaurant group is amazing. We love all their restaurants and have been going to them near Grove City and in Youngstown since the 90s. This Springfield Grill is where we had the rehearsal dinner for our wedding 9 years ago. It was delicious then and everyone loved it. We all loved the filet. I think other people liked the chicken too. This time, my mom, husband and I really enjoyed it. My husband loved his chicken Marsala. My mom loved her filet sandwich. I loved the pot roast which is always a favorite of ours. Everything is always delicious and cooked to perfection. Go check them out for a great local experience.

We went for the brunch on a rainy Sunday. We were seated immediately as we showed up at 10:20 they open at 10am on Sunday. The brunch was well under way. Nice decor and feeling of an old time bar and grill. Service was prompt and got our coffee, which was very nice. We then proceeded to the brunch buffet. Upon entering we enjoyed interacting with the staff as they shared the items to partake in. Honestly, we tried a bit of everything including the pastries. All in all, as it's September/October we already decided that we will come back for Christmas shopping and go for brunch again. Thanks!

I visited Brick & Barrel Cross Keys for the first time during Pittsburgh Restaurant Week, and despite its immense popularity, I was seated immediately--no wait at all. That alone was a great start.I ordered The Barnyard Burger, their specialty duck fat fries, and what a bourbon hot chocolate from their seasonal special drinks menu. Simply put, this was the best burger I have ever had. Everything about it--from the quality of the meat to the toppings and the way it was cooked--was phenomenal. I enjoyed it so much that I returned just a week later to try another burger, The Gunslinger, along with regular fries and the Spinach Artichoke Dip appetizer. Once again, I was not disappointed--the flavors were outstanding, and everything was cooked to perfection.Of all the restaurants I visited during Restaurant Week, this was by far the best experience. The food was great, the service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere, an experience all on its own, really made it stand out, and I can't recommend it highly enough. If you're looking for incredible burgers and a top-tier dining experience, Brick & Barrel Cross Keys should be at the top of your list!

Our group of 6 had reservations for 4pm on a Saturday in the bar area for drinks. The bar staff were super friendly, quick to take our orders, and always working to clear our empty glasses and dishes. Someone ordered the pulled pork nachos and they were pretty tasty! The pork surprised me. It was juicy and smokey. The view from the outdoor seating area is unmatched, night or day. It's beautiful out there and in the colder months, they have the outdoor heaters going. It's worth noting that if you're at the bar area, you have a 2-flight walk up to get to the bathrooms. There's a chance you could find street parking, but if not, there's a lot across the street that's $12.

I just want to come back and say that I must have had a bad waiter the first time I came here because every other waiter/waitress has been so awesome about my allergy issues. I love Yokoso so much, my favorite birthday experience was at this restaurant, I love the hibachi shrimp THEY ARE PERFECT and I crave it. when I had gastric bypass my best friend bought me four quarts of their clear onion soup while I was on my liquid diet and it was my little comfort through the experience!I don't really do the Hibachi experience, I'm autistic and also have food allergies so its not very fun for me but I have sat at the table for friend's birthdays. The hibachi chef's are always very cautious about my allergy and make sure to make mine before they crack an egg on the grill! Thank y'all so much for being awesome!! I love coming here, it's one of my favorite places in Pittsburgh!

"Enjoyed the Food, service and the entire dining experience. Considering it is a "Steakhouse" , I thought the prices were reasonable."
"I love The Nest! We do all of our event celebrations here, birthdays and anniversaries and stuff. Cozy, old-timey feel. Classic seafood/steak offerings. Always reliable. A diamond in the Jeannette rough."
"Right off the exit, a food stop for locals, truckers and shoppers. Is it Bar food; yes. However, It is only 1.5 miles from Cabellas and a place that will make your mouth water for smoked meat and classic ribs. Big Food, Big Drinks and Big Racks ( Deer Silly, this is a kids show). The sample platter of ribs, pork and Chicken all smoked and pulled is large and in charge- advise- order the pulled meat without the cheese- the flavor of the meat could stand alone- The pulled chicken would be great for taco or Nachos. Pulled Pork in a sandwich- Oh yeah- the ribs cooked perfectly with good texture and taste is sweet.Extras- Don't forget the sweet potato fries and corn bread ain't bad either.Don't settle for a chain eatery- go just a little further and grab some food, drink and a step away atmosphere. So I ask- Where are your feet at? Should be right here."
"Amazing fresh sushi and hibachi. Very big portions! Totally worth the money. Service is average, nothing to complain about. I recommend J1 roll it is our go to everytime, but they have so many other great ones"
"Had a party of 3 go to Sullivan's for restaurant week, and boy, am I glad we did. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was great. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, and the Sully sauce was a delicious topping. The lemon sauce for the crab stuffed shrimp was also delicious. Our waitress (Amber, I think) recommended the cheesesteak rolls, which was a great bonus to the meal. Their homemade cheesecake was so smooth, and the bananas foster bread pudding was some of the best I've had. My only complaint is the shrimp and lobster bisque. It could use more flavor as it tasted like nothing but seafood and pepper. It was also curry like instead of bisque like. My boyfriend, who is not a fan of steakhouses, actually wants to go back. I think it was their delicious butter that convinced him, lol"
"Slab bacon appetizer almost put me in cardiac arrest because of all the salt! Buffalo Hot wings were Uber bland and undercooked. Server was nice and did her best."
"This place is excellent, outstanding service, outstanding food, outstanding atmosphere, always some nice locals to chat with over a beer as well, highly recommended!"
"My friends and I ate here tonight, there were 6 adults and 3 kids and is a good atmosphere for young kids. We each had various delicious hibachi combinations along with a few sushi rolls. I split the Spicy Santa Roll and enjoyed the shrimp and scallop hibachi along with my strawberry lemonade (the lemonade was the only photo I took). Some notable tidbits: our entire group had to be present to be seated, we were able to have separate checks (we asked when ordering), and we were able to order a to go order and have it prepared as our meals were prepared."
"Great selection, relaxing, atmosphere, excellent quality of food and has that comfortable neighborhood feel that I enjoy for a midnight bite to eat."
"This is the first time I've visited this location of the popular chain. Atria's is currently doing retro month bringing back features from previous menus. I used to love their Hawaiian chicken and was so glad to see it on this special menu. It comes with rice and green beans and is covered in a Teriyaki sauce. It took a while to get the food by my waitress did apologize for being so late. Needless to say I really enjoyed it. Only wish they would keep it on the menu. This location is very trendy and has outdoor seating available. They have a full bar and a spacious dining room. They are located is a small mall behind Aldi's past Donaldson's crossroads. Highly recommend them for holiday meals. You can't get a better holiday meal elsewhere for a decent price. They also have pick up available."
"Disappointing experience. We should have turned around the second the hostess pointed towards the dining room and said pick any table. Problem was, every table had dirty dishes etc from previous diners. We managed to find a clear table and took a seat. Eventually, the lone server/ bartender/ table clearer greeted us. Orders were placed and we sat back with the expectation our food was not going to be arriving anytime soon. In fact, my drink order never arrived at all. Clearly the place was trying to operate with very few staff members and couldn't succeed. I can't even recall how many times the staff that was present was seen darting around in every direction , swishing in and out of the room where we were seated. Our server was overwhelmed, and overworked, but managed to do his best and we appreciate that. We understand the food industry has been battling major obstacles so we get it. However, the quality of our meals were really disappointing . This used to be the place to go for a "special "meal. However after tonite, the quality rates poorly and its doubtful we will return."
"We frequent Connie's a lot. One of the few breakfast place we have in the area. Great people good service and the food is well worth it."
"Fusion has won best Japanese over the past couple years and I can see why. I had the miso soup, gyoza (pork dumpling) the volcano roll and the eel roll. Everything was delicious. The fish tasted fresh and the flavors were good. I like that you can choose to either have the louder, more entertaining hibachi experience or the quieter more private dining. There were 2 people who had birthdays in our seating area. Their servers brought out dessert for them, sang and rang a gong. Our server was speedy, pleasant and attentive. Fusion had a wide variety of entrees and sushi. I think this would be a great date night spot. You could come here week after week and still be trying new and interesting things on the menu. I would 10/10 recommend and I will 100% return."
"Again, another trip for work taking me into a town and place that I usually don't venture into. I was with my one co-worker giving a presentation and a focus group down the street and this was the place that the employees at the focus group told us we should go and try out.We got a table right away during lunch time and the decor as you can see was just musicians painted on the tables. It was super cool inside. I really enjoyed the ambiance. The menu was huge and overwhelming. We ended up asking the waitress what some of her favorite things are just to kind of narrow down what we were going to order. I did know that we were definitely going to order the corn fritters but for a main course I was unsure.Let me tell you they were delicious. They weren't what I expected because they were round balls, but my co-worker said that that's more of a southern way to make them, they look more like hush puppies than fritters to me. And then I got a salad. Because I was overwhelmed with the menu and did not know what to get. And let me tell you that salad was huge and delicious. I would definitely order it again and definitely go there again."
"Some of my coworkers and I came here on a Monday for lunch. There was no one in the restaurant, so we were seated right away. The lunch special included a soup, ginger salad and then an entree of choice with two of four sides. I chose the chicken entree with vegetables and fried rice. The chicken was covered in a sweet sauce but was a little chewy. The vegetable combination was not my favorite. The fried rice was quite average as well. For the price and the quantity of food, it was an ok lunch option."
"I'd give this sushi a 3 because it wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst. My friend and I ordered the amazing tuna roll, saga roll, salmon roll, spicy salmon roll, spicy tuna roll, some sashimi and their garden salad (because I love ginger dressing). The best roll was the amazing tuna roll because they put pepper on it which made it taste better. I usually don't prefer tuna but this was pretty good. The saga roll is deep fried and I normally don't like those rolls but the description made it sound like my favorite roll ever from a place that went out of business in Nashville and I've been trying to find its twin ever since. Tonight I did not succeed. The deep fried outside was soggy and not very crunchy. But still, not the worst roll. The spicy salmon roll was pretty good, it had little crunchies in it that I enjoyed. The other rolls were fine, just basic. And the sashimi was okay, not the best. Usually salmon is supposed to feel buttery but this didn't impress me. They did give enough wasabi and ginger, they even threw in two yum yum sauces which was the highlight for me. Their garden salad was literally just iceberg lettuce and one cucumber with not enough ginger dressing at all, so that was a waste of money. Saga is saga. It's basic and the only close enough and decent enough sushi around while I'm visiting my friend for the night when we had the craving."
"Went here tonight with my family to celebrate my birthday. We were treated with so much love and care that we felt like family! The food was so yummy and they were really good with my kids. Couldn't recommend this place enough, please try!"
"Steak udon and tea. It was good service ambience felt like a Japanese oasis. One of the better restaurants in town I'd say"
"Two people and bill was 91$ kind of pricey had all you can eat shrimp it was ok and wife had a pound and half snow crab which the crab cluster was salty other then that I think we won't be back ..."
"I wouldn't consider this a chop house in the true sense of the term. More like a family restaurant right out of the '80's."
"We had dinner with friends last night. The food was hot and very tasty. Service was excellent with no issues. Our server was very attentive and pleasant."
"Thank you for sushi addiction. Listen get the firehouse roll. It will not disappoint. This place kicked off months of a sushi food fixation so much so I had to door dash kabuki to my house in the middle of the evening when I had a craving. Proceed with caution. I even took my coworkers here for lunch and they all agreed the food was excellent. The restaurant is ascetically pleasing and the service is great. They also run a deal 5 rolls for 20/25 dollars which is not bad when you find yourself hoarding it....Shame eating it in the middle of the night while being scolded at your husband about the constant door dashing of sushi. Well....totally worth it. Worth a repeat try as you will become addicted."
