"This place is so great. Atmosphere, staff, food, drink, it's all terrific.I got the Big Ben, and it was one of the best dogs I've ever had.Enjoyed a beer, too. The Cinderlands Burnhanms Beast. Yes, go here, enjoy. If I lived here I'd go often. Whether you are visiting Pittsburgh, or live in the city, just go."
"Food was out of this world. The burger was so juicy and cooked just right and the wings were the perfect crispness and flavorful. Service was great very friendly and just the perfect amount of chatty. The place was amazing. Clean and inviting not your typical pub."

"Great cocktails and huge delicious salads. Really a cozy place with friendly staff. The stained glass window is amazing. Be sure to ask your server to tell you about it it's history."
"Great food , fast service, clean place , large menu ,highly recommended & great Sunday Bloody Mary bar !!!"
"AUGUST HENRYS will always be my favorite. They are so friendly and the food is always amazing. We go on Fridays for Karaoke night and it's always so lively. I would recommend this place. We got bones less bites and a patty melt and I would suggest other stuff on the menu like the zucchini planks, chipotle burger, and pierogis."
"I had a bruschetta made with BBQ pulled pork, salsa and cheese in a lightly toasted and butter bread. It was delicious!"
"This was our first time at this upscale pub in Oakmont. It has a great atmosphere and friendly service. I ordered the grilled cheese expecting a basic sandwich. First of all the size of this sandwich was huge! It had three kinds of cheese and bacon on it. I have no idea what kind of bread they used but it was perfect! My mom got a pasta dish that she thoroughly enjoyed. We went during lunch so it's quite quiet but I would love to go back in the evening sometime as well. I would also like to revisit in the summer as it appears they have a nice patio area to sit in."
"Ordered wings and fries from here and they were fantastic! Would highly recommend!!The overall place is more of a dive but a very hole in the wall gem and I can't wait to try the brunch :)"
"We came with a large group a couple weeks ago and it was a BLAST! The DJ downstairs was spinning some 80's with a house beat which got everyone up and dancing. The drinks are very reasonably priced and there is a bar open upstairs with the upstairs patio that has heaters on it. Overall, a very fun night and will be back again soon!"
"The Blue Wolf has an amazing selection of appetizers and entrees. Beef, Pork, even seafood! I had some grilled and sautéed scallops decorated with creamy mashed potatoes. Our service was attentive and polite! They had a full out last evening but managed to service the entire restaurant without issue. Favorite part of dining was getting to sit next to a statue of the Blue Wolf... a truely majestic beast!"
"Governor's Pub is the way to go!This place has such a cute set up and decorated nicely. Our server was kind and prompt. The menu options are delish, prices are fair, and the portion sizes are reasonable. Highly recommend and will be coming back! The bread pudding melts in your mouth. The fish & chips were quality and I loved the fries. Everyone at our table of 5, enjoyed their plates."
"Really nice spot to hang out and eat at. Service is really good and friendly environment. Food is delicious and a good spot to hang out and watch sports at as well. Good for all ages and a lot of different food on the menu to choose from that is all very good."

Nice place to grab a drink and bite to eat!We were at an event next door and was getting hungry. Decided to try some pumpkin beer that hit the spot. The small fries were more like a large and had the perfect crunch. Can't go wrong with a Chilli cheese dog! Good size and flavor. We'll have to try the mac and cheese next time

My wife and I were visiting and enjoyed a delicious meal at Denny's Beer Barrel Pub! She had the build your own burger and I had the smokehouse mac attack. Both were delicious and we would come back more often if we lived closer! Be sure to get there early on Saturday night, the tables fill up quick!

Get Natalie! She is a sweetheart. Had the biscuits and gravy. It was good. But not hitting it for me. A bit too much pepper and the biscuits did not taste homemade. Now the pancakes!!! Just order 2. They are big flaky and YUM!!

Great neighborhood bar. Took my sons there at 4 on a Saturday afternoon. Pens fans were also starting to trickle in before the game. Happy hour specials were good and included $2 off selected apps. We had the fried zucchini and boneless chicken bites. The fried zucchini was great--thin and crunchy. The chicken was also very good (real chicken breast, not processed nuggets) and both apps were plenty for the three of us to share. The Pittsburgh Steak Salad had real steak and the fries were crispy, so I was happy. My youngest son had the cheeseburger from the kid's menu and loved it. It was a pretty big burger, too. Shout out to our server Eliza who was super attentive considering how busy they were. We'll certainly be back.

The Pub at 333 never disappoints. I had lunch there yesterday and not only was the waitress extremely helpful, but the food was amazing as usual. Upon the waitress's suggestion, we ordered the Pear and Walnut Salad and the Chicken and Pesto pizza. The dressing on this salad is so yummy, and since we were splitting it, she even went so far as having the one salad put on three separate plates with no up charge. We also had their truffle fries. Omg! It's the food of the gods for sure! Finally, we split a wood-fired pizza, the Chicken and Pesto. Sorry about some of the photos with half the food missing or bites...we just couldn't wait to dig in! I didn't have one of their mules yesterday, but they also have the best mules on tap. Just go! You won't be disappointed.

Awesome neighborhood spot, great service. Asked for a glass with my drink and the long haired male bartender had it immediately for me. Outstanding food every time.

"Before the hockey game, I stopped in Silky's with my friend Tania who lives down the street. I enjoy these types of neighborhood bars nestled in the city. I had two Miller light drafts and a Bombay Safire Gin with soda. Jay had a heavy hand, so the drink made my belly warm. For food, I ordered the Chicken pasta mix with mushrooms. It hit the spot even though I prefer chicken as a breast instead of being shredded. The shuffleboard table is professional and fun, not level though so that adds to the challenge. Shanna delivered top quality service. Can't wait to visit again for the next trip to Pitt."
"I'm such a fan of Modern Cafe! Even though I no longer live in the area, any time I'm on the North Side this is my go to spot. The vibe is super casual - seat yourself. They have a large bar menu with local brews & cocktails. Their menu is really big with lots of options. I love the cheese sticks & zucchini plank appetizer - it comes with marinara and a horseradish sauce that is delicious. My go to has been the Turkey Rachel. It's delicious and very filling. It doesn't come with a side but we always get a basket of fries for the table to split, they're crinkle fries too (my favorite). Service is always quick and friendly. I always forget to take pictures though, but trust me, you don't want to miss out on this spot!"
"We stayed in the Airbnb above Jamison's for the weekend and for us not knowing the area too well we're glad Jamison's was there for us. Food was excellent. We had the Siracha Dry Rub wings and a burger and they were delicious. Some of the best wings I've ever had. We came back the next night and had some drinks, played darts and had some Buffalo chicken dip. Bar had great vibes, very cozy. Staff was very friendly and attentive. The tap selection was very good also. Hope to come back to Pittsburgh and Jamison's soon."
"Sore feet after much walking and I decided to take a break here with a frosty adult beverage and let my feet get back to normal. At 3 pm, it wasn't the after work crowd but there was a decent bunch of folks. Some food being consumed but for me, it was just beer. Tasty beer.Comfortable space in the back where I found a power outlet to charge the phone while I did some planning and plotting on the laptop. It's all good.[Review 20443 overall - 650 in Pennsylvania - 1423 of 2023.]"
"This place is awesome! I absolutely love the food and chill atmosphere. Good prices and good people. I had soup the last time I went and when I tell you it was amazing, I mean it!"
"I hadn't been to Jigger's in probably 15 years when my husband and I decided to check it out again. I was shocked how packed the place was, only one table in three stories for us! The service was a little slow, but I could tell they were short staffed and our waitress was definitely trying her best. The ltalian I got was really tasty and large. My husband got two types of wings. We really liked the salt and vinegar dry rub, we didn't really like the hot butter garlic. There was a ton of that pre-minced garlic and it just had a weird artificial taste. Overall though everything was good and it's a cool place to hang out. We'll be back soon!"
"I had visited Bee'z in 1996. So when our four person golf group visited top golf I asked to group to try this place. My gps took me to another option on top of the hill, and that restaurant was super busy, but as the other car made it to the correct location we joined them as planned.Well Bee'z was the right choice. Service was great and four completely different meals were all excellent. Not only good! Excellent.I my opinion this is a place worth visiting"
"Awesome food, service, & atmosphere! very casual and was perfect for our 10 extremely hungry boys after their hockey game! Our server was friendly but the manager/owner really went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience went as smoothly as possible."
"Pulled pork sandwich was mostly bun. The smallest portion I have seen in along time and for the increased prices not worth it.The burger and fries were well cooked well but again for the high prices. I just think this area has better options."
"If you look up "cozy" in the dictionary, I'm pretty sure there would be a picture of the inside of J.Gough's. This little neighborhood watering hole is pretty small, but it feels very warm and welcoming, and it's not at all divey. They have a HUGE selection of whiskeys, which makes my Old Fashioned-loving hubby very happy. They also serve a limited menu of food, which is surprisingly tasty. I've tried the buffalo chicken mac and cheese and the BBQ chicken flatbread, which are both solid. So not only is a this a nice little spot to duck in for a drink, but you can have a legit dinner as well. Oh, and prices are very reasonable, so there's yet another feather in its cap! Also, I heard that the name is supposed to be a play on the term "jagoff." I have no idea if that's true, but if it is, it makes me love this place even more. Cheers!"
"Great little bar restaurant. Good food and drinks. Fish on Friday is good. Very casual neighborhood spot."
"The people here seemed so well meaning, but the execution was terrible across the board. Both the waitress and the guy who set us up with a table were absolutely pleasant. Beyond that it was a nightmare. The service was sooooo sloooooow. It took too long for the waitress to come take our food orders after we placed a drink order. People in service should know to pick up the pace when they see small children in a party. However, even if it had been just adults, there is no excuse to keep us waiting for ten minutes. And then the food took absolutely forever, at least half an hour. During the wait, I counted only four parties totaling 14 people in the entire place. It was so frustrating. When the food arrived, half of it was wrong. My daughter ordered a kid's cheeseburger; she received a burger with no cheese. I ordered a grilled chicken salad with caesar dressing on the side; I received a caesar salad with the dressing mixed in. I didn't send it back--no time to wait! The salad was merely lettuce, dressing, and "chicken." The meat was rubbery and stale-tasting. The pretzel bites were horrid; sort of ligh-textured and vaguely sweet, but saturated with oil, they tasted more like toasted chunks of brioche bread than real soft pretzels. The "beer cheese" was mercifully flavorless. My wife's fish sandwich was bland but okay. The french fries were delicious. See, I closed on a positive note."
"We were passing through and stopped here on a Saturday afternoon. Classy ambiance with white tablecloths and napkins, tasteful decorations and real wood dining table chairs. I had the baked cod, asparagus, salad and everything was very good. Taylor was our server and she was super. The staff worked together nicely. The crème brûlée was as good as I've had. This is a surprise spot in a small town."
"I'm not David Portnoy, but I know pizza because after 35 years and conquering 38 states I've tried thousands of pounds of the pizza pie genre, and I don't heavily hand out 5 star reviews, so when I hand these out it's with great weight and tremendous pause. Yes, Westmoreland county could do better with its diversity of food and thought, but what it does lack Mr Mikes comes in and steals the number 1 spot in the North Huntingdon/Irwin/ Greensburg area with reasonable prices, and and an assortment of options with their wings and subs. Note, I have yet to try the subs but the mini pizza, white pizza and traditional pizza hit hard and surprised me with their basic balance. Is it the best I've ever had, no, but it's the best in a 300k population and that in its own right is a tremendous win. Traditional Pizza We go half cheese half pepperoni because my oldest needs to feel like she is eating an additional food group even though pepperoni is barely meat! Like bacon, I consider that topping a condiment like olives or mushrooms! Crust needed some char, but they use the right kind of ingredients which carries the pizza across the finish line and gives it the kind of greasy, I'm hung over and hate chain pizza kind of vibe. May I add the ranch is house made and not like a chain. I have a beef about these mom and pops not attempting blue cheese. Would it hurt you to try, please?7.1/10White Pizza with TomatoeAgain, great ingredients and simple is the approach and although I think char is a necessity for any 7.5 or above, I feel they know what they are and the price isn't unreasonable. 7.2/10Wings I love their approach on wings, not flowered but fried and possibly baked on the back end perhaps? Either way, they maintain their juicy flavor while have a crunchy skin that gives you solid texture. By far the more unique approach in the area.7.5/10The ranch is spot on and I would like to see them branch out with the blue cheese, but I was very impressed. Infernos quality has dropped big time and loses its crown, and I don't see that changing any time soon. As for Rodney's, they need more consistency to their cooking style but if I had to give the chip it's Mr Mikes because of price and simplicity."
"The pint is a beer establishment for the more sophisticated beer drinker. The owner Justin is an awesome guy who can tell you anything you want to know about any beer he carries. Whenever we are back home, it is an absolute go to!"
"We've been coming to Stonebridge for the last year. The food is always excellent, beers are great, and the staff is extremely friendly. If you are looking for a break from your average Johnstown bar food this is the place to go!"
"Great experience! Service was great. Ambiance was good. Steelers game was on, but not overly loud. All servers checked in on us!"
"Tasty food and great service! Ate in the bar area and really enjoyed it. I had broiled haddock with mushrooms and it was very tasty, really enjoyed the tomato bisque too! Thank you!"
"This is a nice neighborhood pub on Library Ave that I've visited a couple of times. They have a pretty standard selection of beers, with maybe 10 or so taps and some craft beers on tap. There was a Flying Fish Porter I had that was pretty good. There seems to be a bunch of regulars here and late on a Friday afternoon business was pretty good. They have a typical pub menu, and I got a burger with home made chips. The burger had a pretty nice sized patty, maybe a third of a pound, and it was a good deal for $6.95. My craft beer was $6 and Yuengling drafts were $2.50. They have several screens and later in the afternoon they had the local news station on with audio playing from the TV. I seem to remember smoking allowed here, but on a nice day they had the door opened with a nice breeze coming through. It was pleasant to sit at the bar. This is a good place to come for pub fare if you're in the neighborhood."
"Super cool local sports bar. Great drink deals and the best place to catch any type of pittsburgh sports game. I got 4 beers and some wings for under $20 and now I know why people go here to pregame and never leave when the game starts! The wings are phenomenal btw. I was very impressed. All the bartenders were super nice and quick to serve us. I wish they had waiters that would come around to the different tables but other than that, it's a great place. They also have a ton of other stuff to do there besides watching the games. Pool, darts, small arcade games, and even a small stage and DJ booth for weekend nights. They have an outdoor patio area that's open all year round but just stays enclosed in the winter. There is also a free parking lot across the street so it's super convenient. Give this place a try if you're looking for a great bar to watch the Steelers on a Sunday!"
"I've been here a few more times and had a couple of meals, so am updating the review. The food is strictly pub fare, with wings, burgers and sandwiches. I had a chicken sandwich called the drunken bird or something like that, and a steak sandwich. The sandwiches are really good and pretty big servings. They come with either fries or chips, and I like their chips, which are homemade, not out of a bag. All sandwiches on the menu are $7.50, a good price. Overall, this is a nice neighborhood pub."
"This is bar has been a fixture in New Alexandria for a long time. It is very much for the local crowd of regulars. The outside could definitely use a remodel. It's saving grace is the opportunity to hear great blues music from area musicians on the weekend. Not many places offer blues. The drawback is that seating is minimal. The night I stopped in, it was very crowded with locals. We stood by the bar for about a half an hour. Even though, I enjoyed the music and people watching. People from all walks of life. The bartender was friendly and the drinks were reasonably priced. The food is said to be good, but the kitchen was closing by the time I arrived. I guess some would call Speals a dive bar. There is nothing derogatory by that. I would say it is like a honky-tonk, though honky-tonks are more country music. I liked the live music and atmosphere. 3 stars for appearance; 4 stars for live music and friendly bartenders."
"Had a Groupon. The server was great. Food was very good. I will say that the kitchen is slow and apparently were having staff issues. The down side was that it needs a lot of work. Cleaning, remodeling. As soon as you open the door, it smells musty."
